all this s**t has left this bad taste. I'll either be a degenerate like my father, a Woman-hating lush like Mondo, or a pussywhipped christian suburbanite like Herb...Me being with a girl sounds like punishment to the girl basically.

Herb seems to be happy while Mondo I think has a case of darth-monkeyitis whereas the only thing he wants is to prove himself to others (girls especially) by being something he's not nor ever will be

Indeed. Herb does seem happy...with the kids. I feel that those two are using Jesus as their excuse to stay together. As they won't shut up about "Oh the church and Jesus saved our marriage."

Same here. I want them to be together forever. But only if THEY want to be together. As controversial as it sounds using God as their excuse is the same as "I'm staying married for my kids." It's horseshit.
