"Yeah, because the immense fooz and flewfy tail are horribly difficult to notice," Rabid cringed, "That's a good thing, I guess." The idea of what Ike's teeth growing would do was horrendously painful.
"I have plenty of gnawable things," she reasoned, more to herself than anyone else, "We can make a...a routine out of it. When he brushes his teeth, he gnaws on...whatever. That'd work, right?"
Rodent? Ike hated that word.
"Ike grow soon?"

"I think that should do the trick. Better use something harder than normal though. This block shouldn't have anything more than bite marks and he manage to actually bite off chunks of it!"

Reid wandered over and flopped next to his Mu, watching his best friend. Bah, even if he couldn't be taller he wanted Ike to grow so they could be kids together.
"I don't know, I just forget," Chao shrugged and bounced on her hair. As Reid flopped next to her she ruffled his hair, earning a sideways glare from her son.

"Yeah, of course," Rabid shrugged, "I'm sure I could find something."
Ike smiled up at Jabir, but was inwardly quite anxious? Was he going to grow at all, or was he going to be a toddler forever? He wouldn't be able to take that!

The felling that came before a change started to form. In his case it was like an electrical shock pumping down trought his body in several waves
Each of the waves left an amount of energy on the cells and when they were charged enough, Ike felt completely electric (William was probably screaming by now)
It only took a split second for all that stored energy to trigger the change, inone single blast
When he looked around he realized how much different he looked
The first thing he noticed was his fingers. They were thinner and more slender, but what really caught his eye was the claws. They seeed they could grip even the slighest crack. The same could be said to his feet
His legs were longer than before and the muscles much more capable to propel him in the air in powerful jumps
His ears had grown even longer and could tell the sounds much more accuratly, since he could move them even more than before
As for his fur and hair it seemed different somehow but he couldn't exactly point out the difference besides the lenght

Reid shot to his feet and into the air with a quick flick before deciding that hugging normally might be too difficult, thus he settled mostly on a shoulder and did the next best thing, he hugged Ike's head.
"Ike tall, Ike sure he didn't steal Reid's height?" Reid asked with an amused grin to show that he was joking.
Chao grinned and clapped her hands together, taking in the new changes with a nod. Ah, the wee ones were growing up.

"Oh, of course," Rabid grinned broadly, her adrenaline kicking in, "Of course!"
"I just may have!" Ike laughed, for the first time not referring to himself in third person. He wrapped an arm awkwardly around Reid.
"Ive gotta see Dei soon. Check to see just how tall Ik--I am."

2 flying origamies made their way into the irfirmary by sliding beneat the door. One was a dove and the other one a owl. Each flew towards a Mishap and kept zooming around until picked Both had the same message Flying Note We are very pleased to know you reached the child stage. Reid laughed, "bet you're taller," he replied, idly wondering how Dei would react if Ike really was the taller of the two now. Not well most likely.
Looking at the previously origami message curious Reid looked at the signed name, wondering who else was on 'the Mishap staff' other than Jabir and Ms. Maggie. "Alignment?" he questioned aloud.
Pushing herself up onto her feet Chao tilted her head, she had a feeling herself and Rabid wouldn't been needed for the 'alignment test'. "Well.. I'm guessing we old mothering folk aren't needed for this and will just get in the way. What do you say wifey? Shall we go and do something festive to celebrate until they return?"

"Alignment is the type of magic you'll be most confortable with" he replied to the Mishaps as he opened the door
"We'd prefer if you could come along. It's a rather important event in your children lifes. You wouldn't want to miss that, now would you?" she grinned

Not quite in the mood to fly or walk Reid simply stayed on the newfound perch that was Ike's shoulder, nodding to Jabir's explaination. Magic huh...? They'd be able to do magic?
"Does sound interesting..." he murmured echoing Ike.
Chao blinked and scratched at the back of her head, cheeks flushing in embarassment. She knew next very little about magic and sometimes it showed.
"Ahhh, no, I mean, of course I don't want to miss something important," she shrugged helplessly, "just didn't want to in the way or something..." oh dear, she was rambling, she trailed off and shut her mouth before she could go on.

Oh Gods...
Ike walked carefully behind Jabir, waiting for the oldest Mishap and the lady to go into the room before himself.
"Magic?" he grinned, "Awesome."
Inside, though, he was quite nervous.
