Riley walked in looking exhausted. She looked around for a chair, and dragged herself to the nearest one at the counter.
"Ex...excuse me?" she asked, trying to get a lady's attention.
"Yes hun? What can I get you?" she asked kindly.
"A chocolate smoothie please ma'am." Riley said.
"Comin' riiight up! Please wait here." The lady scooted over to a machine, and held a cup under it.
Riley sighed and looked around to see if she could talk with anyone. She had spent the whole day by herself, perfecting her sword skills.

"Here it is!" the lady handed Riley a rich chocolate smoothie.
"That'll be $3.99." the lady said, outstretching her hand.
Riley dug in her pocket and pulled out a five-dollar bill. "Do you have change for five?"
"Maybe." She said, smiling, and handed Riley the change. "Have a nice day, hun!" The lady walked away to assist someone else.
"You too ma'am." She took a sip of the smoothie, oozing a rich chocolate taste in her mouth. There must be someone in here willing to talk to me... she thought.

((i wanted to try this font size for some time..))
An angel. A divine being who acts as a messenger of god. Somebody who is kind or beautiful. A spirit that protects and offers guidance. That was that she could come up with that was a definition of an angel, she gently closed her eyes and pictured the 'perfect' form of an angel. Usually form what she has seen, angels have blonde or silver hair, pale skin, and blue eyes. Sakura is part angel but a certain kind of angel, she was a lunakinesis angel. Usually a lunakinesis angel would be cold-tempered as the moon, but Sakura Ai was the direct oppisite, she was kind and loving, the traits that many people beg for and the same traits Sakura Ai wished wassn't her weakness. It seemed that Feena earned the title as a cold-temper being but not an angel, Feena is a phantom thief.
Flickering her mysterious lavender eyes open but with grace she halfed smiled as she replied to the question she promised Kurai she would never answer. It wasn't like her to break a promise, but in front of her own kind, she had too. It would be a disgrace if she lied and said she wasn't what she was.
"Somewhat." was what she managed to say, her tone of voice was soft and loving like a mother and her child but it can be chilling in a presense of a demon or a devil. Sakura Ai was also part shadowmancer which was a cross of a demon and a high class devil. Shadowmancers were creatures with black long ears like an elf, nine tails like a kitsune, long nails for claws, and sharp fangs that would do anything to sink into fresh flesh. That part of her she regretted, that was one reason why she was exiled from Heaven, no beings of darkness are allowed there. If only her secret wasn't spilled during the full moon phase. If only.

((Yeah, small font is getting around. ^_^ I use size 10 btw... I just type it in since it is not available as a choice. So, it is slightly bigger.))
Lenair had a slightly awestruck semblance as she found her assumption to be proven correct. So... Sakura is also part angel... She almost felt as though her question was a bit unneeded, and also too personal, but nothing could obviated now. She knew, she knew that Sakura was partially angel. I can only wonder now... what she knows and feels about other angels... Lenair herself had a distorted image when it came to full-blooded angels, she knew that just as any other race, they were capable of unspeakable violence. She had been the victim of such, though she was not physically scarred. All that was truly left as a reminder of her heritage and father were her leafy and cryptic tattoo markings, her holy magic, her wings, and also her water and wind elemental skills. It was surprising to her that she even fully accepted Sakura. But, she felt not a single ounce of evil from the girl, and it was only fair, since she was also part angel herself. I... just like anyone else, am capable of evil things. But... I did not choose that path. She remained in deep contemplation for a while, which allowed silence to ensue between them. Her wings laid slack against her chartreuse blanketed back, as her thumb gently rubbed against her bottom lip. It along with her index finger had not moved since her question on the definition for a mall. "I see," she replied, breaking what silence had formed between them. No other words were uttered after that point, more curiosity had set in: why wasn't Sakura in Heaven? Sure, Lenair was aware of the choices that other angels had, but in most cases, they were not allowed to leave their heavenly abode without permission from those of the Hierarchies or even God himself. But then... why is Sakura here... unless... her past is somewhat like mine. Lenair had never been to Heaven, she had never been given the privilege of living there, as her father had run away to be with her mother. She believed even now that, if they knew of her residence upon earth, or even that she was a living being, they would have desired to kill her. Certain relationships were considered unlawful and forbidden, depending upon what position you governed within Heaven. Whether you be apart of a Hierarchy, were one of the four dimensional angels, or were even a regular messenger for God's bidding, you had certain laws and possible adages to live by. Lenair had learnt of this, thanks in part to the books found within the church. At around ten and eleven years of age, she couldn't understand any of it. Only with time did she finally realize what her father had sacrificed and risked, just so that he could be with the one that he loved. I can't even imagine... what would happen to me if they found out... I have to be careful with my holy powers. Lenair seemed frozen within thought for a while longer, before her gaze broke from the icy hold of concentration. "Sakura... um, I know that you may not want to tell me now, or even ever. And, I don't want to pressure you either, but... I'd like to know about your past."
((Now you see the reason behind... why I haven't used Lenair's holy magic as of yet. Even if just for healing... she can't really rely upon that. She needs to be careful and discreet... when using it. But... I'll make some sort of a slip up, just to work in my plot. ^_^ ))

((Its fine, i'll write it in a light descripition))
THe question captured Sakura Ai's gaze and heart, her eyes twinkled at the mere thought of her past. But why did Lenair want to know? But what questioned Ai was what that mysterious barrier that surrounds Lenair all about? Was there a secret Lenair was hiding also? Maybe someday Sakura Ai will find out.
She let out a light sigh, fine she'll tell her past in a light delicate way. Its only one less person from not understanding her, maybe she'll understand.
"Well, My sister, Feena and I were born different from the angels in heaven. She was a full phantom so she grew up with no respect, nothing at all. All she had was me to care for and Mother Marissa. I was born as half lunakinesis angel, which is a moon angel a very rare breed indeed. The other half was a shadowmancer. A shadowmancer is a being or in a angel's pov a thing made out of many devil's and demon's hatred upon angels. Sometimes when the moon is full i'll hear angry noise in my mind and heart, it hurts most of the time. Only once a century a shadowmacer is born, but once that Shadowmancer is in age he or she must return to Heaven to be locked away in a dark chained room. Only left with the sins you must carry through out your remaining life" Ai paused as she took a seat upon the couch. It was more comfortable than standing around like a wierdo. But she knew by the time she finishes her pastline, she'll won't be comfortable about someone she doesn't know fully running around with her secret. But she knew Lenair would never tell.
"Feena was always made fun of which ment me being picked upon also. But my angel peers never knew about my shadowmancer form. It was fun playing with the angels in thier angelic games. Such fun that never was ment to be. One day i stayed inside, i still felt far away from most angels and the angels felt my pain. But besides helping there own kind whom was in need the only rejected the painstricken friend. How shameful, how can someone be so inhuman to not help there own kind. There own kind!" She paused once again as she drew her knee's up her chest and then hugged them like she was holding on a piece of thin string that was her life.
"Thats when Mother Marissa offered me a place to stay.A place i could call my home. I honorly took the offer and in a couple of days i was happy. But the angels ceased to take me as one of there own. I soon became discouraged and asked why they ceased to like me. Mother Marissa only stayed in mute which made me angry. I stormed out of the sanctuary in pure rage, true rage that a shadowmancer would have to embrace. I was about to kill myself by jumping over a cliff, thats when He saved me." She smiled at the thought of him.
"I was happy that i made a friend, he was always there for me, we were the best of friends, one of those best friends for life. Until one day..one day..these meagly devils came and destroyed my bliss! The seven band of devils, they killed many angels that day. I was almost killed but my friend, he sacrificed himself anf told me that a deserved a better life, in pure rage i tranformed into a shadowmancer, only revealing the side that should never to be whitnessed in Heaven and i killed off many innocent angels in my blinded rage. I cried that night. Thats when i learned that my mother had died that day when the band of seven devils came and left. Taking those souls with them like it was something to laugh about. What pathetic cowards they were! If only i was older then i would of killed them off!" This made Sakura Ai flame with pure rage, but she sudenly realized it and calmed down. The last thing she wanted was to transform into a shadowmancer and kill off her newly found friends.
"Feena was also saddened, so, being the thief she was, she stole some items for a ritual we were going to do to bring back our mother. We only wanted to bring back the mother that would always smile at us when we arrived home from being out all day. But, Feena..she was killed off by some goverment soldiers during her thiefing. This made me more sad, so i did a blood ritual, it only works once to bring back the ones you love. But it works for those whom has the same blood. I was left with a decision of bringing back my dear mother or my sister. I chose Feena. But the blood ritual went wrong so her soul was tranfered into my body for the time being until i found out a way to get her a body." She paused for some moments only listening to the background noise around her, almost like she was being wrapped in a blanket filled with joys of other people. Almost making her jealous.
"A couple days later i was exiled from some remaining whitnessesfrom my ttranformation of a shadowmancer sending me to earth where i joined a church crusade. Later, when i grew into a divine women, i became a demon/devil hunter and tried to find those seven devils and show them no mercy. So here i am, at Ria High for further investigation into my case." she said as she once again was being pulled into that blanket of blackground noice of pure joy she'll maybe never embrace. But only the darkened future that she is merely afraid of.

Lenair paused for a while as her next breath did not fall from her lips. She waited for whether Sakura would begin, or reject her request. She would understand if Sakura did not tell her anything of her past, for she had her own small secrets that she kept hidden, despite the bits and pieces of her history she would reveal. But time had simply stopped for her as Sakura sighed, as if to announce her dismissal of the subject. But she did not decline or distance herself from Lenair's curiosity, she only began what would be a long and emotional tale. Lenair's gaze became rather riveted then as she commenced her breathing cycle once more, feeling whatever tension had weighed her down leave, like a bird escaping from its oppressive cage.
Her sapphire eyes grew sympathetic for Sakura did seem to have a painful past, fairly much more than Lenair herself. But she could not properly judge who had endured more due to their emotional and painful matters. They had both suffered. Oh Sakura... that sounds so painful... and very saddening... Lenair would blink a bit curiously as Sakura shifted, and found a seat upon the couch beside Lenair. Lenair scooted a bit to the side, to give the girl a bit more room as she refocused her gaze upon the lavender haired belle. She could only watch in amazement and pure interest as Sakura continued on with her story, while shifting a bit herself. As Sakura brought her knees towards her abdomen, Lenair brought it upon herself to try and comfort the girl in some way. So, she lifted her right hand away from her own stomach, and laid it gently upon her shoulder.
She just wanted to show Sakura that in some way she did understand, she knew what it felt like to lose a loved one, and she had also felt the sting of alienation. Maybe her own pain had not been to the degree of Sakura's, but she had felt it too. As Sakura would get into fits of rage while telling her story, Lenair would tense slightly, feeling the heavy rays of anger that radiated from the girls body. But she did not shy away, she couldn't. Lenair herself could not admit that she did not fear death, in some instances she had. But, even then, if it was inevitable and destined to come, she would face it head on. Sometimes you can't help but be sad and angry... I know how you've felt... But Lenair made no intrusive comments, she only allowed her hand to rest upon Sakura's shoulder as she came to the close of her story, which almost produced a teary effect within her eyes.
But no salty dew fell from her ocean optics, she still looked upon Sakura with a plethora of sympathy as a light smile seemed to pierce what silence followed. "I understand Sakura... what it feels like to lose what you have loved, to be unable to make them return once they are taken from you in such a way. It's a terrible feeling... and it has caused me to plummet into my own fits of depression. But, you're really strong, and you should continue as you are. You shouldn't let your bloodline decide how you will be, even if you are a 'lunakinesis' angel... you can always be as joyous and blithe as you are now. I also know that... you can find true happiness, no matter where you go and no matter where you are."
She stopped for a moment, finding herself within deep thought on her next statement. "I know that.... a nun once told me, that you should not allow your enemies the pleasure of shaking you from your resolve. You must remain better than them, for you would never intentionally hurt others as they had done harm onto you."

((i'll try not to post tooo long))
The body heat from Lenair's hand that was safely put on her shoulder sent the warmth through Sakura Ai's body. By telling her biography, it must exhuasted her body a bit which might of made her bpdy loose some heat and coldness to seep through the delicate body of her's. For a moment she had an aloof lookin her eyes, that she was distant for a moment. Lost in Lenair's words like a crossword puzzle.
Remembering is what you should do..i believe remembering precious memories will bring you happiness even if the memories are painful. I believe that the're no memories that are okay to forget, no matter how painful they are. Those were words of advice from a little french boy named Oliver De Wonderland. He was Sakura Ai's little brother, but when she lived in Heaven she didn't really see him much. He was such a cute kind person, but Lenair and Oliver was right. She should move on, but at the same time, embrace the memories for remembering can help to forget at times.
It was nice that she wasn't alone to carry these chained burdens that was sinking into her angelic wings. She always thought she was a lost wolf, a stray, running along the meadow beneath the night moon. Like a shadow. Like a string of pain and sorrow.
"Thanks Lenair" she managed to say, her pressure was gone just like that. She slowly brought her legs to ground, once again being herself. Maybe, someday she will find happiness. Someday.

((Lol, yes, in a way. But wow... Lenair and Oliver had practically said the same thing, when it came to memories. She faces the same dilemma with remembering the death of her parents... since it is a key component in my plot. It's mainly dealing with their murderers and the reason as to why they were killed.))
