Jack smirked at Remy's immediate reaction. Then, when the kiss came, Jack was much more enthusiastic to say the least. His left arm snaked it's way around Remy's lower back as his right hand once again found it's way to the back of Remy's neck. His tongue moved around playfully in Remy's mouth and he pressed his body against Remy's.

Remy grinned into the kiss, letting his newly released arms wrap around the others body. Just as he moved to delve his tongue into the others mouth to fight for dominance of the kiss, something that felt like an electric jolt ran between them, forcing his head back slightly. Shaking off the shocking effect, he pouted childishly. "Aww, darn. Sorry about that," he apologized. "I guess I forgot to mention.. I'm not allowed to involve myself in such.. "activities" with anyone but my current master. Some ridiculous comes-with-being-a-genie rule." And what made it worse was that he doubted he'd ever convince Aurora to let him have this type of fun with him.

"Hm.. Must have gotten a little too hot to cross my limit line like that," he said with a sly grin.

Jack was shocked, figuratively, and almost wanted to cry. What an upset. He let out a hefty sigh and released Remy. "Well...it was great while it lasted..." he said, licking his lips. It was sad not to be able to even kiss Remy like he wanted to. What kind of sick b*****d made that rule anyway? "I guess we'll just have to wait until I free you tonight to continue." he said with a bit of a grin. It was half forced, but the sheer anticipation of picking up where they left off made it easier.

Remy still wasn't sure how well the whold 'stealing of the lamp' ordeal would go, but he wasn't about to stop Jack. This idea of 'freedom' kept sounding more and more possible when the knight kept mentioning it. But he couldn't let anticipation run high for it to actually happen. No need to set himself up for disappointment. He just hated undergoing negative emotion. But just maybe Jack could pull this theft off. It may not have to be a theft at all. Seeing as how Aurora wasn't so extremely fond of him, he may be happy to hand him over.

"Well.. We may want to find somewhere more private if you were wishing to continue in that same manner as before," Remy said. "Unless of course, putting on a public display is a turn on for you or something."

Jack blushed wildly and looked around shyly. He had completely forgotten that there were people around. "Ehe...I think we should move too..." he said. He quickly turned and started to power-walk into the castle. He was really just trying to get away from everyone who had seen them. He was too shy to do something like that in front of others, and he was too embarrassed to stay after the performance.

Remy watched the knight move away some distance before offering a far too casual wave to a couple trainees who had caught site of Jack's 'reward'. Some looked to be freaked out, some disgusted, while others were amused. After so many centuries, it was difficult to find something to get embarassed by. So with a submissive shrug, the djinn's lower half transfigured back into its smoky, transparent form before following quickly after Jack.

"Don't tell me the big bad villain gets shy over a little kiss," Remy teased, hovering over the knight's shoulder. "How cuuuute!" Several inches above the man, his hands came around on either side of his head to poke his heated cheeks.

Jack smiled, but kept walking. "I just don't usually show that I like men in front of other people." he said. "It's embarrassing. Don't you think so?" he asked. It really wasn't just embarrassing. It was that he was different from everyone else. He wanted to be like them. He wished he liked women, but he just didn't. And everyone looked at it funny, and said that it's sinful to like a person of the same gender. All of that combined is what made Jack not want to show his sexuality.

Hearing the name he already knew, Algernon simply smiled in aknowledgment. Returning to his respective position- head high, shoulders back, spine straight- it reminded him much of his usual posture in his elven form. However, in this human body, it gave off more of a sense of power over his usual grace. Not to say this "prince" was lacking in his share of the latter, however. No, indeed. He seemed, instead, to be the perfect combination of everything blended into this so-named Balthier.

"Festivities," the disguised wizard repeated, calsping his hands behind his back. Well, seeing as how all attention within the castle seemed to be directed onto one thing, the meaning of 'festivities' was obvious. "No doubt you mean the wedding for Princess Aurora this evening." He allowed himself to show amusement toward the false gender-title around Ryland rather than the queen. "But of course. I wouldn't dream of missing it. But surely.. An Atlantian coming all the way to Far, Far Away to attend a fellow royal's wedding? Seems a bit extreme if you don't mind me saying."

"Embarassing? Well, no. Not really," the djinn said, once more sounding as if he hadn't put much thought into the idea. Remy liked men and Remy liked women. In short, if it was good looking, Remy liked it. It wasn't that he was shallow or anything, basing everything solely on looks. He just.. appreciated beauty. The only thing to turn him away would be someone with a truly down-to-the-core rotten personality. It surprised him sometimes how many people like that existed in this world. With the short (short through his eyes) time they have to live, who had time to be mean when there was so much fun to be had?

"I guess I can blame that on my not caring what others think," he concluded. "But I guess I'll try to control myself when I'm out in public with you. I will limit myself to only a small amount of groping and quick make-outs as to not embarass you. Sound like a plan?"
PostPosted: Wed Dec 12, 2007 5:30 pm

Truth be told, any groping or kissing in public at all was still embarrassing to Jack, but he didn't want to cut Remy off completely. After all, he was the only man Jack had fallen in love with in...well...a very long time. "Sounds good to me." he said. "But what do we do right now?" he asked. "There must be tons of stuff to do in a castle."

If there had been even a hint of a smirk at Aurora's gender confusion, the sea prince would have picked up on it. Instead, this other prince seemed to show no regard for concealing his glee at the host royal's expense. Ryland's lips easily curved into a grin, pearly whites revealed and all. He really was liking this prince from Dsurion more by the second.

... But as easily as his smile had come, it vanished at the mention of the evening. Balthier more than likely thought he actually planned to attend the wedding. It wasn't as if Ryland had any desire to watch the flighty, vapid, annoying Aurora finally tie the knot with whoever he had looped into being his One and Only, but the sea prince also didn't have the option. Unless in those amazing plans for the festivities tonight, the King and Queen randomly thought a 200-gallon aquarium might be a nice touch to the decorations in the ballroom, Ryland wouldn't be anywhere near here. Well, perhaps not 200 gallons, but he didn't think it was very princely to be submerged in a bathtub in the middle of a reception room either.

"Well, perhaps I'm a bit of an extreme person?" he offered suggestively before explaining, "I'm not exactly attending the wedding. I'm.. I was just passing through town today and heard about the event. I can't stay this evening, but I wanted to come and offer my congratulations to Prince Aurora... and I'm guessing Sir Nicholas. I can't seem to find either of them though." Glancing at the other "prince" a little sheepishly, he admitted, "I'm actually pretty lost. This castle is really different from my home."

Just when he was about to interrupt that he didn't want anyone else seeing him wear a dress, if he even going to consent in the first place, Nic noticed that sudden wave of anger hit Aurora. Uh oh. It took him a second to rack his brain for what he must have said to set the prince off.. It didn't take long. Of course Aurora didn't like to be mentioned in the same sentence as the word 'dress' or anything girly. He should have engraved that in his mind by now. After all, he had watched the boy go off on enough people by now for that exact reason. But thankfully, Aurora's level of anger wasn't anywhere near what he would normally get. The knight allowed himself to take pride in that fact. Perhaps Aurora considered him a close friend now.

"Don't mention it," Nic said, waving it off. He smiled softly at the blushing blonde. "And I am sorry. I shouldn't have mentioned that. But you know, if it'll make you feel any better..." This is for Aurora, he kept repeating to himself. "We can go get my dress fitted here in a bit."

((Sorry for taking so long. I've been supah!busy. 8D;;;; ))

Dark eyes wide, he stared at Nic, his mouth open in a slightly dumb-struck expression. Nic was offering to wear one of those horrid dresses? That was... that took some guts. And a serious determination because Aurora knew just how embarrasing it was to be seen in one of those frilly pink bedazzlements of pure horror and evil (well, not really evil... but close). And, what was more, Aurora realised that Nic was... doing it for him. Well, the man was practically spelling it out and Aurora wasn't that dense -- not always, anyway. A small, slightly heated flush formed on the prince's cheeks as he shook his head slowly.

"N-no... S'alright, Nic...." he mumbled, brows furrowed slightly. After the mentionings of dresses and the fall of his temper, it seemed that the prince's energy level had dropped as well. He glanced down towards the water, towards his hands. They hadn't started to wrinkle yet but they probably would soon....

"I'm gonna go wash my hair and then get out...." he said slowly, glancing back up at the other for a moment before he waded over to where the shampoos and soaps and the like were kept. True to his word, he soon had his own thickly shampoo-lathered hands running through his hair. Many royals had others do such a job for them, but... Aurora hated having others with him while he bathed -- hated it. They always tried to... do something to him. It was therefor a great measure of faith and of trust that had allowed him to let Nic bathe with him, though he wasn't sure Nic knew just how great that measure truly was.

"One would think, but this particular one I haven't quite scoped out completely yet. I've been living here for only a day now," Remy said, rolling over in the air onto his back, hands behind his head. It looked as if he were floating away on a lazy river. "But so far hardly anyone is taking the time to have any fun with me. Everyone being so busy with Aurora's wedding plans and all. It's all going to be a waste, though. There's no way he'll go through with getting married, even if it is supposed to be with that Nic person.. But either way, the party should be great!"

Algernon was slightly put off center with the mention of the knight. Sir Nicholas?, he thought. Oh! That must be the name of the knight that had accompanied the prince from the tower. No doubt that was who he was originally supposed to wed if it weren't for his little intervention. But the elf decided against revealing the changed truth to this red-headed prince. After all, he wanted both royals. It would do no good to scare one away when he had both cozily in the same place.

"I could believe that," Algernon said, offering a soft, understanding smile to Ryland's little predicament. "I'm sure Atlantis is far beyond different than this place. And as embarassed as I am to admit this.. I'm a bit on the lost side myself. Perhaps we could work together and learn our way around?" Of course, if the wizard wanted to, he could figure out the castle's layout in seconds, but doing such would involve the use of magic. Something he may not want to risk in this place. Not after his encounter with Celia. "And maybe I will be able to convince you to stay for this evening. At least for a drink or two."

That smile offered to the sea prince resulted in Ryland staring unconsciously long at the other's lips. He snapped himself back into focus a few moments later, trying to recover from an act which might have seemed impolite while piecing together Algernon's sentence and filling in the fragments he missed from zoning out.

"Mhm, that sounds like an excellent plan," he agreed, returning his fingers to the edge of the doorway and taking a step back from the raven-haired "prince." A chuckle left him at the mention of drinks and a prolonged stay. "A drink or two, you say? My, you must be pretty confident in your persuasive tactics. You don't know anything about me... who's to say I don't turn into an hideous ogre at night? See, then you'd be keen on letting me leave in peace... or with a couple pitchforks in my back. I'm not sure." Ryland replied in a playful tone, adding a shrug at the end for emphasis.

[[Ogre at night... pahaha. sorry. Shrek reference. lolol]]
