The door of the tavern opens and closes, but the doorway seems to be empty. The tavernkeep scowls at the door and then returns to wiping clean a glass with a not so hygienic-looking clothe. A small head bobs up behind him and looks around the counter. The keeper seems oblivious to it's presence. The head ducks behind the tavernkeep and pops up on the other side. Two hands appear at the keeper's side and deftly begin working through his pouches. The small head seems to smile and then disappears below the counter again. The figure emerges again and silently slips over to stand next to the door. It makes a small coughing sound. The tavernkeep turns toward the sound and jumps a bit. "Oh! So sorry! I didn't see you there... Ah, we don't serve children here. You might want to--" The small figure frowns and crosses it arms. "I'm am more than old enough to be drinking at your establishment. Is it your custom to mock you patrons before serving them?" Before the keeper can add anything more, it walks to the far corner and sits at the table. "I'd like some redberry juice." It calls to the still floundering keeper. The tavernkeep looks relieved for a moment and nods. "I have no problem bringing you some redberry." He scowls. "I hope you can understand, but I can't take your age on word. So, I won't be able to serve you anything but juice or water." He looks at the figure warily. The figure nods from the corner and the keeper leaves to find a juice barrel.

Dumping the rest of his ale on the floor he stared long and hard at the man his mask conveying nothing, blocking the emotions he might have been able to perceive beneath the surface. In all essence it was serving his needs wonderfully. Standing he moved toward the bar and grabbed a darker looking glass of who knows what and returned to his seat, or what he had thought was his seat. Nearly sitting on a young boy who seemed to appear out of nowhere he frowned beneath the mask and poked the child's shoulder. "Where is your father little one?" He asked as kindly as he could, it was hard to discern the difference between the child and his chair through the mask and it was getting annoying.

Fury continues to observe the patrons, somewhat amused at their antics. With the mumbling scholar Kal, the child-like pixie, and the edgy and intense Radryn, the floor show just gets better and better...

Puc jumps out of the chair and into the one next to it, nodding for the strange man to sit down. "I don't have any parents, sir..." He looks down at the floor quietly. Then, turns and smiles at the barmaid as she puts a mug of redberry juice on the table. Puc picks it up, careful not to spill any, and takes a sip. He grins. "I love redberry juice!" He looks at the man. Then, at the juice. Then, at the man again. "You can't have any." Puc states matter-of-factly, taking another sip.

Fury looks up at the newcomer, distracted by the harsh sounding language. "German, isn't it? Hello to you as well. So your a Desert Warrior from Arizona? Glad to hear it. Grab some coffee, pull up a chair and stay awhile. Hopefully you speak the local dialect of English, or this is going to be an interesting relationship."

Not getting a response, Fury tries a different tactic. "Willkommen zur Taverne des Abenteurers. Mein Name ist Fury. Sprichst du Englisch?"

"Oh! Forgive me, I seem to have forgotten my manners. I am Fury, and the lovely falcon at my side is called Dancing Sword. It is a pleasure to meet you Perrian. What brings you here, other than potential comfort and relaxation of course."

"Nice to meet you Fury. Well, I'm just here to rest before I go on another quest. I'm going to help Shiva find a place for a home." Perrian said. "Wait- you probably don't know who Shiva is, do you?"

"Well, I have heard the name, but the relation to you would be unfamiliar to me. What do you mean you need to find Shiva a home?"

"Well, long story. I'll explain. There was this big tunnel in the wall in a tournament waiting room, there was water in the tunnel. I traveled through the tunnel to a water, and I saw the goddess Shiva. I talked to her and then Evangeline came out and told Shiva to leave because Ra didn't want her there. I suggested to Shiva that I would help her find a place for her house and she agreed. So I'm a servant of Shiva and I'm going to help her soon. I'm just looking for a party to help me. Currently I might have one possible person." Perrian said.
