I guess we could stay longer then if we had such a charm, unless the cold gets to us first* Ali smirked at her and walked over to the lakeside, dipping his right big toe through the fragile and thin ice layer and into the cold water beneath. Damn it was cold but not so much that Ali couldn't stay in it for a certain amount of time.*

"Aye, and if the cold gets one of us before the other, we at least have something helping us already so we do not need to worry of the other dying before we can get out." she said with a smile. Her wand came from her sleeve, it seemed, and she pointed at her head. It seemed like there was a shimmer then a faint outline of a bubble could be seen, but it was rather non intrusive as it was meant to let you still see as you swam. Pointing her wand at his head, she did the same for Ali. "Let us go!" she said cheerfully, marching in to the water.

* Ali simply shook his head with a smile and checked to see if the knife he had brought along just in case were tightly secured in it's sheet. Following her into the water afterwards. It was fine and all until the water reached up to Ali's groin and then stomach, he probably had it shriveled up into a raisin in this water if it hadn't taken shelter up inside his body. Once the water reached his neck Ali dove under and felt his body starting to move, reacting to the cold as his mind went into a state of panic, screaming " Too ******** cold!" However he soon gained control and adjusted, looking behind him for Ziven.*

The cold was stinging and instincts said she should get away from it but she persisted, going deeper until she too was submerged. She grimaced and shivered, not accustomed to this but soon her body seemed to go numb from the cold. "So far .. goes well." she said, putting on a brave smile.

Let me know if my lips start turning blue and I get pale, I'll jerk you up from the water if I see the same on you.* Ali backstroked forward while he watched Ziven, it took normally a body about two to five minutes to get into the risk of hypothermia but it depended on how cold the water was, doubt it would be wise to stay submerged in more then 3 minutes.*

She nodded. "Alright then." she said, but even at that moment, she was looking a bit blue, just not the way one would expect. Her eyes again changed, her dragon blood, instincts were in over drive at this moment, as dragons were more tolerant of cold.

* Ali could feel how his legs suddenly felt like they had never existed as he swam downwards, using his hands to feel the bottom of the lake. It was getting murky and thus if he wanted to see the thing he would most likely have to swim right into it, perhaps dropping a sensor into the lake would work better. even so they had only been under in about a minute or so.*

Continuing to swim, she pushed through the numbness of the cold, finding it almost easier to go on than it was to start. "Do you think it is much deeper?" she asked, her voice sounding as if she were speaking in to a tin can.

Yeah...Don't think we're half ways even. Let's resurface, I can drop in a sonar probe later on instead. If there is something down here I can wait until summer.* Ali turned around towards her and looked close to hypothermia, his lips were bright blue and his skin was very pale. Also he felt tired now and that was not a good sign, Also he was starting to be disoriented. Time to get up and get warmer.*

"Come here." she said confidently, swimming closer to him, hoping he would swim closer to her also. Once close enough to touch, they would both disappear with a dull pop, the sound distorted by the water. Appearing just a moment later on the shore, water splashing everywhere, they were both safe enough for the moment. Dismissing the bubble charms, she watched him with concern, her clothes replaced with dry, warm clothes, that she knew would be heated just enough to help her return to normal warmth without throwing her in to shock. Blue slitted eyes watched Ali with concern, knowing that he was not in good condition and that he would likely be too stubborn to allow any sort of help while conscious.

* Ali looked around him and smiled, then realizing that it was immensely cold out of the water. A good thing since it meant he wasn't numb anymore and it was in fact warmer up here then in the water. Walking over and behind a bush, Ali began to undress, using the bush to hide his lower region while he twisted his pants and boxers to remove the water in the fabric.* Don't worry, I know wildlife survival in extreme conditions.

* Ali simply smiled before he put the pants and boxers down on the ground behind the bush, secretly using a fireball spell to dry them faster and making them nice and warm, once done Ali put them back on and shook his head. Sending the water flying.*You then?, not freezing?

"Quite cold. I believe within the next few minutes I will feel the pain of feeling returning to me after feeling numb .. which I expect to be quite unpleasant though as I am clearly still living after felt the cold transition to numb, that I shall survive the opposite effect also." she replied, logical as always. Looking out over the lake, she was smiling as she held herself. Just after saying it, the pain did indeed return, stinging slowly at her body before moving out across all her limbs, her toes and fingers stinging most as warm blood flow returned to them. Inhaling sharply at the painful feeling, she wound up laughing a bit. "There it is .. most unpleasant indeed! let us not do this again any time soon, agreed?"

* Ali just walked over and wrapped his arms around Ziven, using his own body heat to make her warm up quicker and make the pain go away quicker as well.* Repeat to yourself over and over, "no pain"
