Ora held back a chuckle as she looked up at the spy. "Arent' you a bit late? You were supposed to return a while ago." She gave a slight shrug, "I suppose I'm in the mood for the manicotti."

She leaned back in her chair and continued to wait.

Arch and the Seer walked in again, Arch carrying a large paper sack with him. He sat down, quickly grabbing some of the appetizers that he had left.

/Sorry to keep you waiting. We hurried./ The Seer cast at her dryly, taking his seat.

"Wheah's Ruby's boohk?" Arch demanded, looking up with a cheese-filled breaded-thing in his mouth.

Ora shrugged, her game was up. "I actually have no idea what you're talking about. Have you checked her shelving? My little frog informed me it was more or less cluttered. Thank you for the present, however, she was a thorn in my side that was slowly growing infected."

"Heh, guehs yeh wehre raihgt theah." Arch said without pause, glancing over to the Seer. "Sheh stihl thihnks sheh's deahd, laihke yeh saihd." Arch chuckled as Erica walked up behind Ora, standing next to the bench.

"Ora." She said simply.

Ora paled at the appearance of her mother, and then she started to chuckle. "Neither of us are very good at making deals, are we angel." She took her steak knife, and with a flick of her wrist threw it at Erica's head.
PostPosted: Tue May 01, 2007 3:23 pm

A band of air solidified, first deflecting the knife, it falling harmlessly to the ground, then wrapping itself about Erica, muting her and binding her arms. Her eyes flared, and she stared angrily at the Angel and Seer, unable to make a noise of move.

"Goh ahn giht yehr Raidehs, ahn ahl gihve yeh Erica's 'eahd. Thaht ihs, ohnce theah gihve bahck Ruby. Yeh've gahwt 5 mihnuhtehs." Arch growled dangerously. "Mahke suah yeh 'uhpohld yehr ehnd thihs taihme." Arch glanced at his wrist, holding it up. There wasn't a watch, but the point was easy enough to get.

((nice move))

Ora tilted her head, "And how do I know this to be my mother and not another illusion?" She looked at Erica, "tell me, what was my favorite book when I was two?"

She looked at Arch, "you'll have to remove the binding around her mouth, if you want her to answer. You also want her to answer correctly."
PostPosted: Tue May 01, 2007 4:30 pm

The binding lifted off of Erica's mouth, who started yelling at Arch for betraying her.
The band was replaced.
Arch sighed. A pale tuna aura leaped out from him, encasing everyone. Erica noticeably relaxed, slouching in the air bonds. The mouth piece moved again, and she blinked her eyes a few times.

"Erica, whaht wehre yehr kihd's fahvorihte kihd bhuuhk?"

"Green Eggs and Ham." Erica sighed, yawning.

"Introduced to it by Blitz, a good book." Ora chuckled, and then held out her palm, a dark green moth formed on top of it. Its wings shuddered softly, "bring her here." She spoke to the moth, which dissapeared into a soft puff of smoke.

Within a few minutes a dark cloaked figure stood behind Ora, her hood was down low, and a green moth sat on her shoulder. She chuckled softly, as she overlooked the occupants of the booth. "Has there been some form of complaint?"

"Theah 'ahs." Arch said calmly. "Yehr toh retuhrn theh buhk frohm Ruby's bloohd. Nahw." Arch was having a hard time combating the peace aura, so the Seer disbanded it.

Death chuckled, turning her head to Ora, "must I?"

Ora tilted her head in response, a brief look of surprise crossing her face. "So you did take it then? Without my go ahead?"

Death's smile stayed, "it was to please you, misstress." She was lying through her teeth. "Damage the Angel's woman to disturb the angel, it was a plan I thought you would have approved."

Ora's scowl deepened, there were reasons why she did not directly strike at Ruby. "Give him the book, we will discuss this later."

Death gave a slight sigh, and then reached out with her hand, placing a dark, blood red rose on the table. "It chose this form on its own. She must be fond of red roses."

Arch nodded, taking the flower.
"Erica is yours to deal with as you choose." He said, The Seer replacing the band across her mouth, but lessening the restraints, only binding her arms, legs, and mouth. They stood up, and left the building.

/All living things must fear Death/ The Seer whispered in Ora's mind as he left, making no motion to accompany the private message, getting in Arch's bus with him and leaving.

Ora smiled, givin Arch and the seer a slight nod as they left. Which is why I made her, Ora responded to the Seer's mental note with a thought of her own.

As they left the cloaked figure dissapeared, and Ora stood up from the booth, walked to her mother, and put a fork through her throat. She watched, and when Erica had finished choking on her own blood Ora turned to one of the serves. "Dispose of the body please, and make sure it is not recognizable. Use one of the ovens if you have to."

A.C. caught the shocked waitress as she fainted and whispered something in the woman's ear. The waitress stood slowly and walked away as if in a trance, unseeing of the corpse.

A.C. glared at Ora. "We don't cook the dead here, Miss, and certainly not people. We've a fridge for storage, and then tonight the woman gets buried. A proper Christian burial, too, witching hour pre. And you pay extra for it, and you sit and enjoy your manicotti--" which she now produced from a table behind her, where she'd set it down to catch the other waitress, "--while we work. Kapeesh? Now sit."

And she forced Ora down rather roughly by the shoulder, setting the manicotti down in front of her, and carried off Erica's body like it was a passed-out customer.

Erica pushed her wrist to the side, "Spy, I do not take kindly to being bossed. I run this city, and these people know it. If you do not wish to deal with the mess, one of the retaurant owners will. Be greatful I decide only to kill once this day." Ora glanced at one of the waiter's, a young man who was the owner's son. He immediatley walked over and began cleaning the mess of the body.

"Santini's used to be mob, they understand this process better than you'd give credit." Ora said before sitting down to her meal.
