Minerva glanced up at the video screen overlooking the parkbench. She made a few grumbling noises and then sighed. "They're calling us in boys, should we go?" She glanced at both Bobby and Verve.

Xeen Soldevi The video screens that were placed int the city flicker to life, Jerich standing at a podium. "As we know, the Human Alliance launched an attack on neutral territory this morning. Due to the swift response of on duty supers both in Krovh and at the shelter, as well ans the voulteer heroes that arrived shortly thereafter, those affiliated with the Resistance and seeking to do good, the assult was thrown back, General Coyl and his forces routed. However, the time has come for us to press the attack. In the past week, we have been attacked by the Human Alliance twice, and the time has come for us to return the good graces, and elimate this threat to our people. All memebers of the Korvhan military need to report to your Base Armory, gear up, and await activation. Any supers affiliated with the Angel need to arrive at the base, and await activation. All civilians are reminded that we are under martial law, and it will be tightly enforced. New restrctions will be applied as needed. Be reminded that this IS a time of war. The laws in place are not suggestions, and breaking them will result in heavy, terrible consequences. Thank you for your ongoing cooperation." Aaron watched it for about three seconds before turning to Blitz and asking if he could change the channel to cartooons.

Blitz snapped his fingers and the channel switched on every TV on the block. "Lets hurry this up."

Verve looked at Minerva like she was insane. "I didn't sign up for the military, and I'm not affiliated with the Angel. But I do want to see what they're up to."

A.C. found a crosswalk before she crossed the street again, every inch the upstanding citizen. Somehow she found a way to walk that subtled the outline of her gun, and her did up one more button on her shirt to hide the knife and chain hanging from her neck. The baseball bat she used as a kind of cane, upon which she leaned moderately heavily, as if one of her knees was weak from some injury. She took off and put away her black gloves, revealing old hands with chapped skin and some scarring, possibly from cooking but one large bump at the base of her left middle finger, where a ring would go. Her nails were very clean, but not even lengths.
She didn't really care to be pulled aside as suspicious, or breaking even some minor rule such as jaywalking, under martial law.

Minerva gave a nod to both Bobby and Verve. "We might as well see what they're up to. See if Jehric has some stupid assignment for me......if it's customs, I swear I'll slaughter the whole resistance." She started moving towards the AA base, taking her time. If they needed her specifically they could always give her a call on her cell after all.

Verve was following along with Bobby and Minerva. "Hllz yes!1" He replied, watching as Quackums waddled faster until he was right along side Minerva.

Minerva glanced at the duck by her feet and grumbled under her breath, she considered shooting it again...but changed her mind.....and gave it a nice big kick instead.

Ruby smiled as she caught sight of the only other super who was always as bright red as she was. She pulled the car to the side of the road and hopped out, giving a wave to both Minerva and Bobby, before giving a grin to Verve. "So are these folks wantin' to come to? Or are you preparin' to ditch 'em an' head down to the closest club with everyone's favorite redhead?"
