eek you... were in a hit and run? stressed and of course you didn't see who did it... ::grumbles darkly to himself. it seems he has a strong protective streak in him that doesn't apply only to his sister... or perhaps Hikari reminded him of Nov somehow... shaking his head he looks at her:: and you didn't want to be walked home? what if something like that happened again? i don't mean to alarm you but it's important for you to stay aware...

your parents.... died? you too huh? ::he says this as though he was commenting on them bothing having a blue shirt, not lack of parents then he blinks and pales;: gah! sorry, i didn't mean to sound cold about it... our father died around... mmm... seven or eight years ago. i guess i'm just kinda used to him being gone that it doesn't realliy hurt anymore, and i forgot that it might be painful for you still....

but you don't talk about it much? ::guessing:: a year isn't really all that long... and you're an only child i'm guessing... at least you must have been if you were living alone. i guess i was lucky in that aspect... i had my brothers and sister to lean on when it happened... ::he winces:: okay, i'm dropping it. sorry, didn't mean to make you uncomfortable or anything. i said i was going to walk you to wherever sooo... where to, Miss Hikari? ::smiling::

Hikari for a few more seconds had a pitty party for herself. Then realised Ian had his arm around her making her come back to Earth. "Oh I'm sorry....Gomen I didn't mean to make you feel bad for me.."

Vale Kinomoto Cain turned around and looked at Ran. "Tard." he said, finishing Ran's word. He walked back up the stairs and looked down at Ran. He opened the door and looked at Ranpha. "He needs help." he told her and then walked out of the apartment complex, not looking back.

*Ran groaned and slowly opened his eyes. Ranpha's calming appearance and care quickly helped Ran feel at ease as all thoughts of Cain and conflict fled his mind. Cain had beaten him...again. It was the same everytime, but he seemed particularly upset today. He looked at Ranpha and took a breath as he closed his eyes again* ...I'm sorry. *He quietly mumbled out as he laid still*
