Craig smiled at Lily, he didn't mind that she hadn't recognized him. Craig said, "Thank you." as she handed him the coffee and listened to what she had to say. His face turned slightly concerned as he said, "You messed up? What do you mean?" Smiling reassuringly at her he added, "Maybe I can help?"
Kyrin watched James as he left, his kiss lingering on her forehead. As he left, she closed the door behind him. Turning to Osiris, she said softly, “Instead of helping me get this all off my chest, he gave me more to think about.” The fact that James was so into a man who obviously didn’t love him in the same way, made Kyrin anxious, she really didn’t want to see her friend hurt. Laying back on her bed, Kyrin closed her eyes. When she felt Osiris’ warm body curl up beside her she opened her eyes and looked in the golden depths of his. “I don’t know what to do Sai…” Kyrin really wanted to tell Craig everything, she wanted to tell him and beg for his forgiveness. She had never been one for begging, or one to ask for forgiveness, but for this it was the only thing she knew. But, she really feared hurting him, Why the hell did I do it… why did I have to do that!? Reaching her hand over and stroking Osiris’ fur, Kyrin muttered to herself, “Maybe he won’t find out.” As much as she didn’t want to keep it from him, she didn’t want to know his reaction if he found out more. Sitting up, she put her back against the wall, and Osiris moved his head to her lap. She continued to pet him. “I don’t like this Ian guy,” She mumbled, “I don’t want him here…” When she thought of Ian, it irritated her, so instead she thought of Draven. At the moment, he was equally irritating, but she had promised to go talk to him. I will hear what he has to say… but if he calls me names again…
Her thought cut off there as she heard what he had said to her in his head again. “Why would I want to be around a hussy like you? You cling to any man willing to give you a second glance!” She heard her voice in reply, cracked from crying, “That's not true…” Kyrin only now realized that his words had been insulting to Craig and James, not just her. This upset her, but she attempted to calm herself, going to talk to Draven while she was angry, probably wasn’t a good idea. Kyrin got up, she needed to go talk to Draven and get everything sorted out. And if not sorted out, she at least had to tell him that he needed to stop insulting her. Kyrin got off her bed and opened her door, leaving the room Osiris followed at her heels. Having Osiris with her, gave Kyrin confidence. Making her way to Draven’s room, she knocked on the door, “Draven?”

Ian awoke about five minutes after Jamie did and found himself curled up agaist his ex-lover. Happly snuggled up againist Jamie, he really didn't want to move but he knew that the longer he stayed here like this with Jamie, the more awkard their situation would become. Ian quietly got up out of Jamie's bed and decided to leave without a word. He didn't want to talk to Jamie right then. He knew that if he did, it would only turn ugly. Ian wanted to keep the feeling of being happy coming from being able to spend some time with Jamie without all the arguing or trying to kill each other.

At Kyrin’s weakness Draven let out a large breath, he’d been holding in for far to long. It wasn’t that she made him nervous; it was just his general uptightness when it came to sharing any feeling he kept within him. He was a secret, and frankly Draven wanted to keep it that way, but with Kyrin around it was making it a futile attempt. As he heard her feet pad off down the hall, he took another swig of the bottle and let the liquid burn down his throat again, taking pleasure in the pain. Today was going to be one of the longest days in his fairly short life. Twenty-one years after all, weren’t that many compared to the elders he looked up to.
Moments went by in darkness and Draven knew nothing, it was peaceful and black. It reminded him of what he felt on the inside, empty. A knock at the door brought him from his torpor, but he seemed to lack the energy to speak. As consciousness more clearly rolled over him, he found that he was laying face down on the floor with the whiskey bottle sitting empty not far from him. He tried to roll over, but his limbs wouldn’t respond, nothing would respond. He had drank himself to death, it was a miracle that he had realized this, but death would come to him soon if the poison within his stomach were to stay.

When Draven didn't answer, Kyrin sighed, "Maybe I'm too late, Sai, maybe he doesn't want to talk to me anymore." Kyrin turned to walk back to her room, but stopped when she saw that Osiris had stay by the door. The big cat began to growl at the door, his eyes seemed to bee angry. Kyrin, concerned at what would make Osiris act in that way, walked over to the door again. Knocking louder this time, Kyrin placed her head against the door, "Draven?" With her head closer to the inside of the room down she could smell the distinct oder of the whiskey. The first thought in her mind was anger, she didn't allow alcohol in the mansion. Osiris continued to growl at her feet as she turned the handle and let herself in. He had broken one the biggest rules that she held at the mansion. Walking in, with intent to yell at Draven, Kyrin noticed him on the floor. She stopped, the smell overbearing now, How much did you drink!? Osiris, however, didn't come in, he just stood outside the door, growling loudly at the man laying on the floor.
Kneeling down, Kyrin look him over. By the empty bottle, she knew that he had likely ingested enough to kill himself. She sat for a second, contemplating letting him die, but shook the idea from her head. Alcohol was an undignified way to die. Kyrin tried to shove Draven over onto his back, but the man was big and Kyrin didn't have too much in the way of muscle. Pushing as hard as she could, she got him over. It then took her almost twice the effort to get him sitting against something solid. She then looked around, he needed to throw up. Because Kyrin didn't want to look through Draven's things, not because she respected his privacy, but because she was sure she would find other things that would anger her, she was forced to make Draven throw up with her finger down his throat.

The finger went far enough in to hit his gag reflex and of course, Draven gagged a little of the whiskey seeping into his mouth, until once again he gagged and several mouthfuls of liquor spilled out of his mouth and onto the floor, it repeated several times until nothing came up. His body shook with invisible cold, as he lay propped up against that solid object.
In his mind, Draven knew only blackness, with fleeting memories. His first girlfriend, the girl who utterly broke his heart, she didn’t just cheat on him with anyone. She cheated on him, with her own cousin. Even in this state the feeling made Draven want to gag. Little did he know that, that was exactly what was happening. He remembered coming to they’re little ghetto apartment to find her tongue down the man’s throat. He was only sixteen then and that moment had stayed with him through every relationship. Since that day, Draven has always been very untrusting of women and it’s created a void of emotion towards them, until Kyrin.
Draven opened one heavy eyelid and through the alcoholic blur, he saw the shape of a woman, his features were soft and her beauty was immeasurable in his eyes, then before he could think. Draven whispered, “Crystal?” his voice was hoarse but clear and filled with emotion, “Crystal, I thought you never wanted to see me again”

Kyrin was a little taken back at his words, "Crystal?" She said, a hint of annoyance in her voice. She had just saved him from dying of alcohol poisening and he was calling her Crystal? Kyrin wiped her hand on her pants, trying to stop herself from throwing up as well, the smell in the room was nauseating. "Draven? Can you hear me?" Even though she was annoyed with him, she still felt the need to make sure he was okay. Maybe it was because everyone else did it for her when she got herself drunk.

Draven tilted his head slightly, “of course I can hear you Crystal”, he said in the same emotion filled voice, “but you still haven’t answered my question, what are you doing here?” If confusion could be measure in a scale of one to ten, Draven knew that he’d certainly be topping fifteen. After he caught Crystal cheating on him, Draven beat up and nearly killed her cousin and she swore that if she ever saw him again, it would be to soon. Then she got her big brother and his friends to throw Draven out of the house. He just sat outside the door crying. He loved her, she loved him, they had given each other their selves, wholly, but apparently Draven didn’t have enough to give Crystal.

Kyrin was about to tell Draven that she wasn't Crystal, but thinking better of it, she deicided that she wanted to know what Draven was all about, and maybe find the answers to her questions about him. "I came here to find you." Kyrin said quickly, trying to sound convincing. She placed her hand on his cheek, playing the part, "Are you okay?"

A tear streamed down Draven’s face, it was obvious that he cared about Crystal much more than he liked to show outwardly, “o-o-of course”, he stuttered, “but you said you never wanted to see me again”, Draven reached up and touched the hand on his check, feeling the soft skin in his callous hand, “after I saw you with your cousin… I’m sorry for hurting him Crystal”, Draven’s voice was so thick with emotion now, it seemed tangible, “I never meant to explode that way…” he paused for a moment before continuing, “I’m just not good with my feelings, we should have talked through it”
He sucked in another breath before going on, his blurry eyes hard with sadness, “I guess it’s my own insecurities, I thought I wasn’t enough for you”, he stopped there and waited for her to reply, he said what he needed to. Inside Draven prayed for ‘Crystal’ to tell him that she was ready to forgive him and get back together.

James laid there, Ian hadn't noticed he was awake. He felt bad for abandoning Kyrin, but he didn't want to be around anyone, and now that Ian had left, he was more than aware of that. He closed his eyes and tried to will everything away, the way he had when he was smaller, but it ultimately failed. This wasn't hiding from someone who could give you cuts and bruises, but no lasting emotional attachment, this was hiding from the people you loved more than anything. This was chasing away people that only wanted to help. Stop! Stop it. They don't love you. No one does. Thought you knew that. Shut up. Stop denying the truth, James. S'only going to make it worse. Don't need you. Well, someone's got to beat the truth into you. Nails dug into the flesh of his upper arms, drawing blood. He clung tighter around his chest, breathing in short bursts, curling into a ball, fetal position. Maybe being alone hadn't been the best idea.
He pulled his jacket on to hide the cuts, and ran his hands through his hair, making himself presentable. He smiled to himself in the mirror. Convincing enough. Had it not been for that panic attack downstairs, no one would know anything had fazed him. But oh God could he use a cup of coffee at that point.

After leaving Jamie's room, Ian suddenly re-remembered that he was still lost. Glancing around the hallway, Ian stood there for a moment feeling lame. Where in the world was he supposed to go now? Ian hated big places. He always got lost for some reason. It wasn't his fault that he was easily distracted by shiny objects! Ian swore it was the fault of the part asian in him. Deciding that just standing there would only make it very likely in bumping into Jamie at the moment, he looked around, then ran toward whatever direction looked the most fun.

Nori Closed his Oversized book shut after finishing a chapter. Sitting up, his back cracked from laying on his stomache too long. Dragging his body up and stretching his shoulders, his leg decided to wonder around on their own. Leaving his room, he heard someone else walking in the hall, but his eyes were too tired to inspect. Instead, he leaned over the balcony and stretched his back a little. Looking down made him a little dizzy somehow, but he liked it.

As he touched her cheek, Kyrin felt herself almost draw away, but she stayed, trying to figure out more. Kyrin didn't know what to say to Draven, but she realized how much he cared for this girl. Or had cared for her. "Shush," She said lightly, "Its gonna be okay." Kyrin couldn't play the part to the extent that she knew would have made him happy because when he came out of his haze, this 'Crystal' wouldn't be there. So she repeated the phrase again, convincingly, "Its gonna be okay."

Jamie poured himself another cup of coffee, downing it as quickly as he had the first, and leaned against the countertop. The caffiene dulled his emotions and woke him a little, just the way he had wanted it to. He stared down the ceiling, wondering if it was right to leave Kyrin there the way he did, and shrugged it off. Whats done is done. He'd apologize to her later, but it was relatively low on his list of worries. What he was most worried about was how on earth he was going to get Ian out of the house.
