Not ten minutes after this little massacre, a blue armored van with the shield and spear emblem on the side screetched to a halt. The back doors flew open and ten Shields jumped out of van, all in combat gear, with flak jackets, riot helmets. Some with shotguns, some with MP5 submachine guns, two with M16 assualt rifles and one with a pistol and metal riot shield.
The two with M16s took aim at Drucilla and Konstantine while the rest approached Vincent
"Stop what you're doing. You are under arrest. You come quietly, or..."

_______"Iridara!" Drucilla shouted to Konstantine at the sight of opposition. Immediately, Konstantine slinked back from the edge and threw herself flat on her stomach. Drucilla fired one shot from the stick aimed for the chest of one of the pair of men with the larger firearms before she too fell back out of sight. Drucilla slid a silver coin in front of her and fixed her mind on the location of the van, beyond the edge of the roof which currently blocked her vision. She pressed her finger on the coin. "Vuurae..." she muttered and the coin slid across the ground with great speed. She felt the coin's position and the air and spoke the word again as it flew in the direction of the van and the men who had emerged from within. "Kuradga." A second lightning bolt struck from the clear sky, passing through the coin, directed at the men who would aim to stop them. _______Before a word was spoken from the men, Vincent struck a single match on the back of his left hand, transferring energy into the matchhead. In only a instant, the match was filled with energy that would release upon impact with another object and expel a flammable material that would stick to and burn anything within several feet of the collision. In the same motion, Vincent manipulated the inertia of the match and threw it at the man nearest to himself...

"Why is it always my day off?"
"Because. Your luck sucks."
"...Does not compute."
"My a**!"
A few hundred yards from the slaughter that was generic villians 352, 843, and 1573 sat two men. One was tall, and rather thin, his eyes sunk in a little bit. Black hair shrouded the face of this gentleman, his left, very brown eye showing. His skin was pale, and made his features jump out at you, as though you were looking at a painting of great drama.
Next to him was another 'man', who looked much less alive that his partner. The hair was again black, with artifical eyes, made of steel, wired with all sorts of funky little sensors. They weren't even painted for realism. His skin was a normal fleshy tone, short of tan. He looked like a doll for one very deranged individual.
Both were dressed in black, typical of hipsters or someone out to look hot. The first was decked in a jacket/suit pants combo, with thick, bulky, kick-you-in-the-eye boots. The other was dressed in black jeans on a black sleeveless shirt with similar boots. Both wore gloves with an symbol that meant nothing to anyone but them.
"Do you think a bounty will be offered, Terran?"
"Not likely, Garet."
"My designation is 6 A. R. 37, and it would only be right to help these people."
"Robots don't have a sense of moral... weren't those your words?"
Terran didn't wait for an answer as he turned to watch a few more minutes.

((Quoted for being almost 10 pages old.)) Kitten P.A. She frowned, she had hoped he could be startled again so she wouldn't have to explain but he was already wary and that was understandable. She picked a pinch from her pocket and held it out to him, the rubbing of her forefinger and thumbe making a small mist rise up as well as a tiny flame, the scent soft and gentle but nowhere near him. Wither her other hand, she reached up and stroked her throat indicating speech, hoping he understood. She had to trust someone...and while it wasn't good policy to trust someone you just stole from, it wasn't like she really had much of a choice. Silver quirked an eyebrow at the young woman, totally confused as to what was going on now. Was she trying to say something to him? " I... I'm affraid I don't understand... This stuff helps you talk somehow or what? No way I'm taking a deep breath of that stuff again. Not after what happened last time... can't you explain it with diagrams or something?"

A large horse-drawn cart would begin to make it's way into the village as the massacre continued to draw out. The "cart" itself was more of a very large carriage, perhaps even a small store of sorts. Trailer Trash rednecks? Well, there was a redhead driving the horses, and a shouldersize Red Dragon Whelp perched on the roof of the mobile store, but that was about it.
Ugh... I really hope "Older Bro" knows where we're going. He says we're going to assist in the repairing of the Stadium, but all I see is a quaint little town and...
He stopped. WHOA. There was a smell filling the nostrils of the redhaired young man. Blood, and plenty of it. We're talking bodies hitting the floor, not a trip-caused skinned knee. No, this was the real deal, apparently there were fights being dragged out here. Was it just an ordinary rumble in the town? Eh, could be, that or there was a raid going on in the village. He looked eager though... he was bored, battle was fun, and kicking a** was his job. So every little thing would be fulfilled. AND if it was a raid, he could very well charge the people here AFTER saving them. Then kick their asses if they refused.
You're going to go in there guns blazing against aren't you, Rufus?
I'm sure the Boss won't mind me having a little fun before we get to the stadium. Stay here... I'm gonna go kick some a**!
Rufus, the young, red Haired Youth, ditched the horse and carriage, racing towards where blood smelled the most...

The men with the rifles fired a short burst at Konstantine as she moved back, then seeing Drucilla fire, dived out of the way of her weapon. Now they were at least a good twenty feet from the van at this stage, so all the lightening bolt did was strike concrete, flinging some pieces into the back of the two, making them wince slightly, but nothing more really.
As for the ones by Vincent, the closest one just happened to be the guy with the metal ballistic riot shield, and the rest were behind him. So when he threw the match, it impacted against the shield, pushing the flame that erupted from it out and around it, but not causing any damage to the men, including the one holding the shield (unless it's white hot flame of course).
After that, the one who had spoke in the first place pressed the side of his helmet and seemed to speak to himself for a moment before looking at Vincent again
"This is your last warning."

Sienna stepped into Latent to the sound of gunfire and screams.
What the? What's going on? Come on we have to check it out.
Her face seemed to undergo an almost imperceptible shift as she beckoned to Ami and took off sprinting towards the direction the sound was coming from.

_______Drucilla grabbed Konstantine's hand and summoned up a spell which would consume the energy she had been charging, rather than her own. She began muttering in a low voice the words which would form the spell. Her mind acted quickly, forming the words of her incanting for a spell she had only pondered about before that moment. By her side, Konstantine muttered her own charm to assist in the transferrance of her energy into Drucilla's body. _______"Oh? Well, if this is my last warning." Vincent said. He scratched at the rough stubble on his face, "I just don't know. Maybe I ought to surrender. Hmm..." About this time, Vincent felt the silver chain around his neck begin to react. He chuckled at what he knew would come next. His eyes darted to the men's faces, wanting dearly to see their expression at the moment it happened...

Ami noticed the gesture offhandedly since she was more than a little nervous about entering the extremely busy town. She followed Sienna, and when she noticed a quickening pace, she reached back and loosed her staff whilst she ran.
The Stadium may be rubble, but something still occurs here.
The thought was the only thing that rang in Ami's mind as she chased her companion toward the fray.

High above the roof of many a building, a lone figure dressed in black floated in midair, seemingly standing on nothing at all. He looked down on the carnage below with dark red eyes. His silver hair hung down on either side of his face, hiding his eyes from view for the most part. His black trenchcoat hung loosely off of his waist while one side fluttered in the wind. His arms were crossed across his chest as he looked at the events below...
It appears I might just get some entertainment afterall...

While Vincent was prattling on, another blue van pulled up, another ten Shields in combat gear jumping out of the rear, another two armed with the ballistic riot shields, three with rifles, and the remaining five with multi barreled grenade launchers. The first group fell back about five feet, the other group going to meet them. The ones with the shields went in front, the shotguns and submachine guns behind, followed by the grenadiers and finally the riflemen who were mainly concentrated on the roof.
Two of the grenadiers fired two rounds from their weapons at Vincent, the rounds bouncing towards him, one actually rolling against his foot, before a hissing noise started and gas started to seap out of them.
The remaining three did the same to the rooftop, the grenades bouncing against the concrete roof and most likely near Drucilla and Konstantine before they erupted with their cloud of tear gas and smoke.
The remainder of the team on the ground, bar the riflemen, opened fire on Vincent, perferating the area he was standing in with lots of rather hot, and fast traveling, lead

_______Vincent chuckled once more before he willed his circulatory system and lungs to shut down. A nice benefit of being not quite as alive as some people. He kicked each grenade back to the men who had fired them and mentally chuckled once more. The bit of gas in the air bothered him not at all as he stretched his right arm out to his side and his sword arm up into the air. The chain of gunfire didn't startle him either. The trajectory of some bullets was bent in the air, avoiding Vincent. Other bullets which collided with his body stopped instantly and fell harmlessly to the ground. Vincent could only smile. _______Sounds of a new vehicle alerted Konstantine's attention and she cursed that she couldn't see anything while forced to lie on her belly. When the grenades came up over the edge, she synthesized small blades to knock them away before they posed any harm whatsoever. Drucilla continued incanting, clutching Konstantine's hand ever tighter...

Sienna arrived on the scene as the smoke clouds rose in the air.
Wonderful. It seems quite the melee
Sienna reached into a pouch at her belt and removed an item which opened and then expanded to a disc about the size of a frisbee. Holding the disc like a shield pointed towards the smoke cloud she flipped something. An electronic voice spoke
"Noise Canceller, Activated
At that moment all sounds coming from the smoke cloud: incantations, bullets flying, chants, screams, pleas. All ceased as pure silence covered target.

The Shields simply blinked at what resulted from their attack. The gas having even less effect on them than it appeared to have on Vincent, since they were all wearing gas masks. The grenadiers fired another two rounds each onto the roof, being ten rounds, each starting to emit the tear gas before they touched the roof this time, so even being there for a second it would form a decent cloud.
The two front men on the ground pulled a cylindrical can off their vests, pulling a pin and rolling them towards Vincent before all the men closed their eyes and covered their ears as the two objects exploded with a loud, defeaning and disorientating bang, and a bright, blinding, white flash.
At the same time, two of the grenadiers fired a single grenade, once this one had landed on the roof they also exploded with the deafening bang and blinding flash, and if it was close enough to one of them, it would burn
