"A fine skill to have. Most either do not obtain such skill with reading others or choose not to speak of what they find. It is much appreciated that you ask." she said softly, bobbing her head. Slowly, with sure movements, she prepared tea for the both of them, but still allowed for Skye to choose which kind of tea he would prefer. "What weighs on your mind, friend?"

"Well, it's Aliator," Skyeheart said as he picked up a cup.
"I've recently heard that his family was killed.
As much as I dislike his actions and behavior, I know what it is like to lose a family.
To be quite honest, ever since you have been socializing with him, I've started to see parts of that man I've never known before. It's not much different than what I usually see, still he was not as devilish as he was when I first met him. But it seems he's acting more aggressive now, though I cannot blame him. I was enraged when I first learned of my own family's death.
However, what really concerns me is his future actions. He seems to have nearly lost all rationaity, and suspects me along with many others for playing a part in this murder. I for one would never kill out of spite or pleasure. He does not believe me though, along with the fact that I actually condole with him.
Aliator truly thinks that dragons, even half-blooded dragons, look down on all creatures other than themselves, and that my views of him are completely black and white.

But maybe, it's really him that sees me in black and white."

Nodding her head, she listened to Skye explain what had happened, relating to his words, knowing that his observations were likely true. After he finished, she took a sip of her tea, mulling things over. "If I may be so bold to say, you are quick to assume details of others in a negative opinion. And I do not mean this as any sort of judgment upon you but an observation of you. Sometimes such a trait can be useful.

Ali can be very quick to anger and sometimes quick to assume also. Again, sometimes this can be a useful trait. What you should keep in mind, and I hope he would keep this in mind also, is that when both yourself and a person you are with are the same in that nature, it is easy for whatever the task at hand is to escalate to something quite unfriendly.

I will also ask for you not to take his accusation personally as he has been going around to everyone to investigate. Yes, he is more harsh to some than to others. In fact he did nothing more than ask where I was that night, and quite kindly even, not only because he knows I would never do anything like that nor would have a hand in such a thing but he also knows that I will speak the truth to him. I may have much to learn but one thing that no one can deny is that I am honest and straight forward when questions. I have earned his trust so he did not feel a need to try to intimidate the truth from me."

After having said so much, she bobbed her head again, taking another sip of her tea. "I will say to you also that he has made it quite clear that he does not think highly of elves either yet we still speak as if I still looked entirely human. Though he may judge a particular race or group of people poorly, if an individual can prove they are different than the others he has had contact with, he will recognize this and make adjustments to his behavior in their presence." she finished softly. Blue eyes observed her friend, not planning on saying anything further until he had a chance to speak after having gone on for so long without letting him speak.

"I wonder..." Skyeheart rests his head on his claw.
"I know not all of his kind are the way he is, after all, I'm married to one. She's half-blooded though. But would he really see an indivdual of my kind? There are so different dragons around this guild, Lady Angel and Lord Zero have their blood as well. And he seems to really think them all the same. I'm probably as honest as you are, yet he feels that nobility and and honor coming from me is just a dragonkin's excuse for anything.

Perhaps there are some people he chooses to turn a blind eye to just because he refuses to accept the fact of what you say.

I've never been much of an optimist except when in battle. I suppose it's hard to be that way when you have to live every day wondering if your friends will be placed in danger."
He then raised his head.
"How about you? Is there anyone that has been stuck in your mind as of late?"

She nodded and patiently listened to his pondering. When he asked her if she was thinking of others, she tilted her head and wondered what he meant by this. "What do you mean? Someone stuck in my mind?"

"You've said it yourself, there are some things of your own that you have to sort out. Usually the source of a personal thought or concern would a person like in my case."

"Ahh." she replied softly, looking a bit shy for a moment. "As I have said, there is much I must learn. I believe I will be going to a school soon, but am not entirely sure when. I also will be learning from Ali how to fight. Again, I am not entirely sure why but he has been very kind to me and wishes to teach me to fight with weapons. Though Yawgmoth does not believe I am ready for such training. And, of course, I am always thinking of Reeve." she finished quietly again, a small, serene smile crossing her lips as she took another sip from her cup.

Ali's training her...I don't want to assume the worse since Mercina and Alice bouted like this too...but they're both dead. I just can't help but think Aliator wants her to do something with those skills, or maybe more likely, one of his friends...like Yawgmoth, that entity can never find enough pawns...
"Reeve? I don't believe I've met him yet."

"Yes, Reeve." she replied, assuring him he was correct with his name, a bright smile crossing her lips as she spoke of him. "I would not say that he is shy, but he is certainly selective about where he goes and whom he socializes with. He does a lot on his own, much like I do. Neither of us are terribly accustomed to doing many things with others." she said with a nod.

"He sounds a bit upper class," the dragonewt knight said.
"Tell me how you know him."

"Ahh, no. He is much like myself in the fact that we have not been with our families since we were quite young. I met him here in the RDS." she replied, watching him with a curious expression now. "You seem concerned .. why?"
PostPosted: Sat Jun 23, 2007 3:27 pm

"I'm just wondering about his character, he seems to me the scholarly type. I may visit him myself when I have the time."

"I see. At the moment, I am afraid he is .. ill." she explained, bobbing her head apologetically. It was nearly the truth, he had just died and still was not himself in his recovery, but she did not want to explain all the detail to Skye, she did not believe Reeve would appreciate that.

"I see, do you know what ails him?"

"I am not entirely sure. The person who seems to know what is happening to him is not the educational sort." she replied sounding rather bitter. She looked to Skye with an apologetic expression. "I do not mean to sound upset, just that it is infuriating to know there is someone who knows what is happening to him but refuses to help or to inform myself or others on how to help. This person would rather see Reeve die than help him and has implied they will make sure he does, I believe, if they were to meet again."

(Ooc: I am going to see a movie soon, I will be back later ^^; sorry)
