Reno was surprised at Jades sensitive question and smiled warmly at him, well the best he could without moving his head or opening his eyes.
"....Jade...You are a brat." Reno chuckled, poking the younger Shinra in the middle of the chest and chuckling some more.
"...But you know, I would have you no other way, you know that right?" He asked, folding his hands back onto his stomach.
"People like you...I don't know, not many of them left around here...Rufus tends to kill compition while it's young."
Reno sighed, starting to regret what he had been saying.
"I'm sorry if i upset you...But I was just playing...If you stopped being a Brat I wouldn't have anyone else like me around here."

Jade hadn't asked the question out of fear of what other's around the building thought about him. Of course he knew he was, as a whole, a spoiled rotten brat. He merely thought that Reno had become angry with him. But seeing him in good spirits about it now, despite his bedded condition, lightened the thoughts from the younger's mind.
"Don't go off comparing me to you now, Red," he said, a little more light-heartedly. "At least I have the potential not to get hit." Of course, that's with failing to mention, it was Reno who had pulled him out of the lines of fire during the attack. "Not to mention, the potential of my dashing good looks."

Reno chuckled once again, finding his head didn't hut so much and he could chuckle without pain.
"I know lord prince...I am but your humble servant, I could ever compair to your greatness...It is only my dreams to be akin to you." Reno would of bowed down to the floor but it was impossible at the moument.
"You doge bullets in your sleep and beat woman off with sticks...I mean..."reno sighed.
"...I wish I could be JUST like YOU."

"Geez, Red. Enough with the gracious flattery. I can only blame so much on your medication before I think you really have lost your mind," Jade said, barely supressing his own laughter as he was waving a hand to stop the man's onslaught of compliments. At least the Turk seemed to continue to be his old, goofy self still yet.
"But seriously, though," he said, smiling down warmly at the red-head. "I'm really glad you're okay now." Maybe that wasn't quite the emotional confession he offered when Reno had passed out, but he wasn't about to break down into that again. At least he was getting his message through.

"Lost my mind? Ah but you see, I don't even remeber having one." Reno said simply and then smiled warmly, the warm soft tone of jades voice was comforting and it didn't make his head hurt.
Soothing almost.
Reno couldn't help himself, by the time he realized what he had done his fingers were already over the back of jades hands and squeesing softly, as if he knew the emotional oller coaster he had put Jade through today.
"...I hope I wasn't too much trouble...I know I can be bothersum sometimes." He said with a smirk.

"You know, there is a difference between being bothersome and freaking me out," Jade stated, unconciously turning one hand over under Reno's so there palms were embracing. "But either way, I think I can forgive you.. There is something I'd never forgive you for, though. And that's if you don't get better before I leave. I won't be staying with Rufus forever, you know that. So, as an order from your Prince, I command you get better as soon as possible.. Just don't strain yourself too much in the process."
"Besides, if I don't have you to look after me, who knows which Turk Rufus will have take your place," Jade said, running the men and women through his head.. Anyone but Tseng, he thought with a mental shudder.

Reno chukled, vocing his thoughts on getting better:
"A few pain killers and a pair of shades and I'll be ready to go...." Reno said happy that the cool cloth on his face hid the surpised expression on his face. The cloth quickly turned warm quickly and his hand started to sweat so he gently pulled it back only to poke the tip of Jades nose.
"I wouldn't let the other Turks take my baby sitting job away, non way Jade, it's our time together, thick or thin my lord, I am your humble survent." reno would of bowed if he was permitted.

Jade had long ago become used to the term 'baby-sitting' that it no longer made the young Shinra angry. As long as it wasn't used in a mocking sense, of course, he easily brushed it off. "It's good to know I have somebody on my side, at least," he said, grinning at the Turks proposed loyalty to him.
"And I'm glad it's you of all people, Red," he continued. "Afterall, you're the only one who will willingly cause trouble with me. Like I said earlier.. the only amusing one around here. Now.. Do you think you're up to going to the kitchen and getting a milkshake with me? I can have them give you a nice little wheelchair and everything. But don't think I'm going to baby you all day."

"Food?" Reno asked, his stomach growling dispite himself, awe how Reno loved his food. His light colored eyes watched Jade with a almost puppy like hope. Food souned really good right now, strange he sould of rebuked the idea instnatly considering the dizzyness.
Willingly cause trouble...Pft..He liked trouble, but it always found him first, always.
Reno sat up, slowly, he was dizzy for a few seconds, his eyes clouded over as he tried to regain hiself, nearly falling off of the bed but managing to ballance himself and chuckle with that smirk of his that said everything was ok.

"Yep, all the food we can eat" Jade affirmed, chuckling at the sound of Reno's stomach. He would bet Reno could eat an entire country's worth of food and still remain as skinny as he was.. And probably still be hungry after that.
Jade had made it to the door as Reno faltered dizzily in the bed. The younger boy stopped suddenly, looking ready to jolt back over to the Turk's side, but seeing as how he was once again stabled, he instead gave him a mock sneer. "I'll be right back," he said. "Try not to hurt yourself in the twenty seconds I'll be gone."
With that, he left the room to talk one of the nurses into giving him a wheelchair and returned within a couple minutes. "All set!" he announced, rolling the chair to the bedside. "Now to get you in it.. Here-" he reached out for Reno- "grab onto me."

Reno nealy blushed his facce off, emidately hiding his embarissment in anger.
"Hey, what you think I am? Your not carting me around in that thing, no WAY!" He glared at the wheel chair, that would just hurt his pride too much. He could just hear his co-workers laughing.
"I can walk..." Reno leaned against the head boad of the bed, swaying a little and then taking a step forward, slowly.
"...I don't need no metal chair." He swallowed and consintraded, still a bit dizzy. Reno took another two quick swaying steps befor hitting a wall and leaning against it for a few seconds.
"You see?" He said, panting and closing his eyes.
"I-I'm fine."

Jade's hands fell from the empty air to his hips as he glared at Reno with one of those 'yeah, whatever' looks. "Uh-huh," he said, utter disbelief smothering his tone completely. "So as long as we have a wall for you to lean on the entire way down there, it'll only take half the night to get down to the kitchen. Wonderful."
The younger boy swung the chair around to face the Turk. "I am not waiting that long," he stated before pointing to the chair. "Sit." The command almost sounded as if he was trying to make a dog perform a trick.

Reno had no oom to argue, really none. Yet he still got that pouty look on his face, leaning against the wall and giving the chair the same death glare.
He stood thier for about six mintuits, the attention span he had for being stuborn and then flopped down into the chair. As much as he hated it, he could regain himself and relax in the the thing, he didn't feel so dizzy.
"Fine, stip me of all my dignity." Reno said and sontinued to pout, crossing his arms over his chest and refusing to look at Jade.
Sure, the boy could have his way but reno wasn't about to like it.
