Tsai got the food ready. It was some candy. It was sweet and tasted good. It was all a shinigami really needed since souls don't get hungry. Tsai got some water and walked outside. "Down already? How many did you do?" Tsai asked as he handed him some water and some candy.

He turned off the weights and waited for a reply from the collasped Kaosu.

Kaosu grabbed the water and candy, scarfing them both quickly. When his mouth was no longer obstructed, he said, "Ten." He lied on his back and stared at the darkening sky. "Just to let you know if you didn't know already, this is the most rigorous training I've ever been under. Hell of a time, I gotta say." He flexed his aching muscles and kept staring above. "I've found it interesting, Tsai. One of the few things I still remember about the living world is the stars in the sky. Since we're somewhere completely different, wouldn't it stand to reason there would be different stars, if there were any stars at all? But I mean, look there."

He pointed to a vague patch of stars towards the north. "That's Leo." He pointed somewhere in the middle of the sky. "There's Orion. Odd, huh?" He pushed himself slowly into a sitting position. "Can't wait to see what you have in store tomorrow." He grinned, showing his glowing whites. "It's great so far."

"Tommorow will be a hell of a work-out, I suggest you get some rest early now," Tsai replied not even looking at Kaosu. His eyes were focused on the clipboard and his writing. "We shall work on that fighting style of yours and maybe a bit more on the way you think up stuff," he got up and got some pillows and sheets after putting away the clipboard.

"Stars, we know very little about how they are formed here in Soul Society, but they sure are beautiful," he said coming out as he looked at the sky. He tossed Kaosu the pillows and sheets. "Better get some sleep, I'm going to go to sleep in the cave," he said.

Kaosu nodded and gathered the sleeping materials. He then found a nearby tree camped out under it's wide branches. I'd climb up, but I'm too tired. Once Kaosu had himself positioned the way he wanted to, he had no trouble falling asleep. He felt his eyelids almost instantly start going down; and for once he didn't fight it. He yawned quickly before he entered a dreamless, wonderful sleep. Tomorrow...

Tsai finishes up his notes as he too gets ready for bed and falls asleep.

The Next Day, It is dark out still but Tsai wakes up, knowing that it is about time to get up and train,

Tsai got up and yawned and then picked up his zampakuto and a pan lid and started hitting them together making quite a ruckus. "Get up Kaosu!!" he shouts banging faster and harder with each stroke. He walked closer to the sleeping shinigami, bringing the pan lid closer to his ears as he did so.

"Wake up!!!" he continued to shout.

Kaosu muttered in his sleep when he heard the banging. He quickly opened his eyes and noticed it wasn't even sunlight yet. He groaned and rolled over. His muscles were still sore, thanks to a certain pot-banging shinigami. When Tsai was close enough, he ripped off his sheets and kicked the pot.
"Would'ya just shaddup already? I get it. I'm up!" Kaosu went into a standing position and streched, yawning with it. "Dang you Tsai, I was just getting to the good part of a dream." He then stretched his legs and arms as he continued the conversation. "So, what we doin' now?"

Tsai smiled as he waved around the ankle, arm, and wrist weights. "Strap these on, we are going jogging, and this time, so I don't get out of shape while training you, I too will be running with the weights. Except.. you'll be doing 400kg, while I'll be doing 100kg," he laughed.

"We will begin a warm-up routine consisting of push ups, sit ups, jumping jacks, jogging, multitasking, and reiatsu control," he ended his sentence as he put on the wrist, arm and ankle weights. "I have two controls so I can control both our weights, I'll set them to their assigned amounts as soon as we got our weights on, and done stretching. We will be going off for an early morning jog first," he began stretching as soon as his weights were strapped on.

Kaosu strapped on the still-oddly small balls. He then continued his stretching again. "Boy, this day sounds filled with fun." Kaosu eventually stood up and tested to see how sore his muscles were. Not very. That's good. I need to perform at an all time high today and on.

He reached down last to touch his toes. When he came up, he asked, "So, how long do you think this'll be goin' on?" Kaosu didn't think anything more than three days.

"Around three days depending on how much you achieve during the process of three days. If you do very little, it will extend the time period, if you do exceptionally well, it will end earlier perhaps," Tsai replied as he began clicking.

"I've set up my weights to 100kg and yours to 400kg. Tommorow, I'll be doing 200kg while you will be doing 500kg, so we will both be improving. Well, enough talk let's go".

Tsai began jogging along a dirt trail that seemed to be damaged and not very visible.

Kaosu smiled. Exceptional. I can do exceptional. He took a few seconds of Tsai jogging down before he started. He put himself into a sprinter's starting position and shot off. He started sprinting as hard as he could down the course. He made a quick wave at Tsai as he passed him, conserving the rest of his energy. With each flighted, eager step, however, he slowed a bit down. Finally, he ended up with a nice running pace and kept it as he ran down the unbeaten path. Three laps should be my goal.

Tsai picked up speed much faster than Kaosu. He did have lighter weights than him. "Kaosu! I want you to try to keep up with me as well or there will be a punishment!" he shouted as he sprinted faster and ran farther away from him.

His speed continued to pick up, the 100kg's weren't affecting him too much, Tsai began sweating however. He was exerting alot more energy than he should have. He began to breathe. In through his nose, out through his mouth. The basic breathing method to help regulate your heart beat.

Sonuva...that dirty little sonova...

Kaosu again picked up his draining pace, keeping right behind Tsai. Here, a goal. Just imagine you're chasing Tsai, trying to rip his smug little mug off. Kaosu smirked slightly as he just concentrated on that image. I probably won't do it...but it wouldn't hurt to have a goal. Kaosu already felt his legs beginning to wobble and burn, his arms slowly reaching the same stage.

Dang. Just a little longer and it'll be easy going. Kaosu thought as he huffed for air. I shouldn't have shown off now that I think of it. Oh well, he's four times lighter than me and I can keep up with him. It works.

Tsai smiled as he saw Kaosu at the corner of his eyes. "Hey, you know what, I just got an idea, let's play tag!" he shouted as he sped forward at an even faster pace. The weights didn't seem to bother Tsai too much. He really wondered how Kaosu felt with four times the amount.

Tsai chuckled as he ran faster and faster with each speed. He felt a nice breeze as he went faster and faster. The morning air felt good, the sun didn't seem to be showing any signs of rising for a few more hours.

Kaosu almost tripped himself over the idea. Tag. He wants me to play TAG?! He's gotta be goin' insane. All this morning air has gotta be going to his head. However, Kaosu was being challenged. Kaosu liked challenges. "You're on."

However, once he saw Tsai start sprinting off at such a rate that he couldn't catch up even if he wanted to, Kaosu kept pushing. Just...a little farther...almost...got him. Kaosu slowly, but steadily, approached Tsai. He could only hope he wouldn't go any faster. His legs had since long overreached their safety-zone, and now they were running on pure will. He reached out his right hand, hoping to touch something; anything.

Then, he felt his fingers touch a small bit of the fabric. His eyes widened. There's no way I could be doing this...but I am! Kaosu thought energetically. Maybe luck truly does exist. Either that or mercy.

As if in reply, his feet finally fell over themselves. Instead of grabbing onto Tsai's robes, he was now clutching a dirt clod. Instead of victory plastered across his face, now it was dirt. Very hard dirt.

He groaned as he got up. He now had legs like Jell-o, and his breathing was ragged and shallow. He was using his full mouth to reach for any air he could shove into his lungs. He started after Tsai again, but fell down again. "Whew." Kaosu said as he lied there. He then looked around. "Waaait...how many laps was that?"

Tsai ran faster and faster as Kaosu began to catch up. Suddenly, as soon as Kaosu fell to the ground, Tsai put on the brakes on and came to a stop. He turned and looked at Kaosu. "0.5 of a lap!" he shouted back at Kaosu. He was quite a few yards away from Kaosu now.

"I'll review your goals for this exercise either:

1) Do 10 Laps around the region
2) Catch me
3) Outrun me

Number 3 would be what your aiming for if you want an exceptional rating" he chuckled as he began running again and picking up speed.
