Barsul Delois

Letting out a silent sigh, Barsul caught sight of the raders who were moving.
s**t...Without making a sound, Barsul pulled his MTAR21 from it's position and took aim on the raiders.
"Lyanah. if they get within 10 feet they're dead. I'll start from your left. Tap the mic once if you understand."

Brutus looked in the direction that Barsul and Lyanah had gone. The all too farmiliar feeling rose in the pit of his gut. "All these years ive had to kill....." Brutus took a few steps forward, "and nature has given me a way of sensing things." Brutus' footsteps quickened until he broke out into a full run. "I dont know what it is...... but something bad is going to happen. TOM! Let's get moving, our siblings will need our help!." He tapped his radio before speaking "Barsul and Lyanah, stop whatever you are doing and pull back! I have a really bad feeling about this. We're all going to have to attack together on this one."

Hearing Brutus's voice over the radio, Barsul cursed- knowing the raiders had surely heard it too.
Ahh hell...
Without hesitation, he pulled his trigger and the head of one raider exploded into a wet, red mist. Not wasting any time, he fired at the other's near Lyanah while he moved to a nearby tree for cover.
"s**t...Lyanah! you alright? Take cover and get outa there!"
Still firing on the raiders- who were also taking cover by now- he tallied up the dead raiders and remaining ones. four down...hell..at least eight left.
Barsul began talking to Brutus.
"Brutus! what the hell's goin on?"
Remembering he was invisible, he took time to aim now, Barsul could tell he only had a few rounds left in his current magazine. He put a burst into the back of one raider moving toward Lyanah's position before sliding the clip out and jamming a new one in.

A series of explosions peppered the ground between the two scouts and the remainder of the raiders, covering the heavy sound of a running, unseen super-mutant. Before the thundering footfalls could arrive, the mechanic Tom flickering briefly into view, his stealthboy disrupted by the heavy smoke as he threw two more grenades, his rifle swinging from his back.

"Brutus's right behind me," Tom announced as yet another grenade seemed to appear from mid-air. "We gotta hurry...two distress signals went out to the main encampment. They're on their way."

As all hell broke loose she had layed out flat after barsuls fire and tapped the mike a couple times to let him know she had heard him, a few of the raiders had already been taken out but there were still at least seven more, and then tom's news about the two distress signals.
Muttering a curse under her breath she rolled to the side and stood, sweeping the legs of a raider that was too close out from under him and then pulling her hand gun to finish it. As another came her way she slipped to the side and swiftly placed both hands on either side of its head, jerking it to the side in one motion and letting the body fall to the floor.

Barsul couldn't help but let slip a grin after seeing two raiders go down for reasons other than gunshots, and several grenades appear to fly from nowhere.
"Nice handy-work Lyanah..and thanks for the smoke Tom."
After only a brief moment, however, he was back to firing at the remaining raiders.
"Hey Brutus! If the other raiders are headed here, we could set up some traps. Use our fear-oriented troops to herd them to a kill-zone or something."
As he spoke he took out another raider with a double tap to the side of his head. Realizing something then, he grinned again.
"haha...i keep forgetting they can't see us...they're still not sure where the bullets are coming from. Let's make this quick and either get ready for the big group, or haul a** outa here."
Another couple shots later, he counted up the remaining raiders.
"Five left! My ten, one, twelve, and three!" Even as he spoke the words, he took the number down to four- the approximate locations he'd given still accurate enough if the others knew where he was, or even needed the information.

((Guys, there's a lot of s**t going on for me right now. I wanted to get some action started and i did. My mind is such a mess right now, i cant even think of something to post. At any rate, continue without me for a little bit and ill join back in when i can think straight. ANyone who wants a better reason as to why i cant post, PM me, ill explain it all there.))

Brutus ran on top of a large boulder and looked at the exhanging of rounds between the new Nightkin and the Raiders. The sense of an unseen danger still hung in Brutus' gut, but he couldnt figure out what it was. "By the gods, whats wrong with me....." Brutus suddenly felt nauseous and his head seemed to be swimming in a sea of pain. His already horrible vision narrowed and he went limp. He crashed onto the rock, then rolled onto the desert sand. His cloak wore off and was visible again. He stared into the sky. He felt very warm as a growth appered on his neck. "Angel..... I think i see an angel..." Brutus reached for the heavens and closed his eyes before he fell victim to his own mutation. His sleep wouldnt be long, but un-healable for the time it took place.

((Fair enough Brutus. Thanks for starting something...picked up the pace))

Picking off another raider, Barsul's weapon ran dry again.
i need to get some bigger clips for this thing...
Not bothering to reload, Barsul put the MTAR21 on his back and removed his combat knife from its sheath as he began making his way toward another of the raiders.

Another round of grenades shook the ground, almost hiding the definitive "click" as a clip slid home. As a moderately-armoured raider dared look around, in hopes of spotting their attackers, a series of shots buried into his chest, shoulder, and finally face, splitting the ceramic guard over his mouth and cheekbones...

"Barsul! Lyanah!" hollered the scratched voice of the still-transparent mechanic. "How is everybody?"

If I'm doing this Relocation thing, might as well do it right, he thinks...

Despite the grenades, Barsul heard Tom's clip slide home before the shots sounded. He was about three feet from the raider when his eyes went wide and he dropped to avoid any bullets that didn't slam into the raider.
Barsul waited a moment to make sure Tom was done shooting before he stood up again.
More than a little frustrated now, Barsul tightened his grip on the combat knife before taking long, swift strides toward one of the last raiders standing.
Without even blinking, he rammed the blade into the raider's gut, edge up. He turned his stealthboy off, and just as Barsul flickered into visibility, the raider's eyes widened and he yanked the blade upward- effectively gutting the raider where he stood. Before his enemy even began falling, Barsul slid his knife free and in the blink of an eye slashed it across the raider's throat.
As the blood poured over his boots, Barsul turned his stealthboy on again and looked around.
Speaking in a very calm, deliberate voice, Barsul keyed his radio mic.
"Tom...there's one left. he's all yours....which way is the main group coming from?"

Brutus' angel lifted him up and whispered something into his ear. The glowing figure placed a hand on his chest and seemed to lift his very soul out of his body. His spirit was free and flew around the angel and his former prison. His spirit was not in the same mutated form his muscular lump of flesh he called a body. For the first time in forever, he felt happy, no longer his own worst nightmare. He wasnt the killing machine that he was in real life anymore. The angel turned to Brutus and smiled, the smile continuing to grow to un-proportiate size. Her teeth were crooked and discolored. She let out a laugh that chilled Brutus' soul and Brutus tryed to flee. The joy he had just been feeling turned to fear and anger. Brutus flew down a farmiliar hallway.....one far too farmiliar. "Angel we have to go!" a voice shouted. Brutus turned around and saw a guard with a gun on his back running down the same hallway he was running, and then a mutant with a mini gun appearing behind him. A barely pregnant woman started to run as quickly as she could down the corridor, but fell to the ground and screamed in pain. The other man turned, "Megan!" The mutant raised his gun and in an instant, the woman was in shreds, her blue jumpsuit was in tatters just like her flesh. The man took the M60 he had off his back and with tears blinding his aim screamed as he emptyed his gun into the mutated creature. Brutus faded away and saw the angel again, and then the dead body of the woman and guard. The woman's face was blank with no features and the guards was his own.
Brutus awoke in the middle of the desert sweating profusely and screaming loudly. He looked around to confirm where he was. He looked to the heavens. "GODS! WHY HAVE YOU CURSED ME WITH THESE VISIONS!?" Brutus held his head in his hands, then remembered his siblings were in danger. "The gods bless and curse me..... i will suffer thier curse if i can use thier blessing to save my brothers and sisters." Brutus managed to get himself up and started to run as quickly as he could toward his brothers and sister.

The scream of a super mutant is, to understate, chilling. Tom faltered his aim, completely missing the raider that had begun charging towards the briefly-visible Barsul.

Glancing back, the mechanic shuddered as he searched the battlefield for their leader, soon finding that he could see nothing at all through this confounded smoke.

Returning to the here-and-now, he released one round into the remaining raider: a neck shot. Fatal, but not a killing blow. Barsul will finish it, he thinks, before turning towards the east. "Look to your left, Barsul," he snaps into the radio. "At best, they're five minutes away. At worst, two minutes."

Barsul's came out more growled than anything else, but he started toward that direction, pulling an incindiary grenade free from his belt. He was quickly scouting the area in the direction of the main raider group, and setting up make-shift tripmines as he went; predicting where the raiders would move through and in what numbers.
After about two minutes he was out of incindiary grenades, so he climbed a small rock outcropping to get a better view on where they'd be coming from. Pulling his sniper rifle from its place on his back, Barsul put his eye to the scope and began waiting.
"Tom, Lyanah, I've got about a half a dozen incindiary grenades out here rigged to go off. Tripwires and such...just a heads up incase you come out towards where the raiders'll be coming through. I'll camp out here for a little while. Let me know what's going on, and if you want me to wait before i do anything tell me."

About half way to his destination, Brutus saw sand shifting in the distance and heard the shouting of humans. Brutus' face grew more stern, and he switched his stealth boy on. He began marching toward the group taking out a special flare. He aimed it at the sun, twisted the bottom and a special red haze shot toward it's mark. The sun shining through the flare cast a red mist-like appearance over everything within eye sight. Brutus heard the human chattering ceae, and being replaced by whispers of wonder and doubt. "Figures, humans are all attracted to shiny things." Brutus said while shaking his head. After crossing a large sand dune, Brutus was looking down at the Radier group, there was at least 50 of them in all, most of them carrying basic sub machine guns or assult rifles. Brutus jumped down from the dune and walked behind a raider on the outter edge of the group. He was carrying more grenades than any of his comrades, so Brutus snuck up behind him and twisted his neck, the raider going limp in his arms. Brutus dragged the body away from the group and took the grenades off of the raider, took the pin out and rolled them under the feet of the little army. A total of 6 grenades now lay at the feet of the raiders and explosions went off one after the other in a bizzare beat like in a song. Waves of confused raiders went flying, not all being hurt or killed. 4 of the 6 grenades were just flash bangs, but the other grenades sent shrapenel into at least a dozen baddies. Brutus wanted to stay and toy with them some more, but knew that his brothers and sister might need some more experiance in thier stealth suits. Brutus took a last look at the battle that could have been and continued his trek to the location his siblings were waiting.

Hearing a few muffled explosions not too far away; roughly from where he expected the raiders to come through, Barsul tried contacting the others.
"Lyanah, Tom...Where's Brutus? i haven't heard from him in a little while...and where the hell are you two?"
