"Konichi'wa Sukaru-kun" Hitomi said as she watched Shikatsu practice. "Sukaru-kun...Here" she said as she tossed him a bag of six specially designed Senbon.

He caught it. "What? It's just senbon....." he said, looking into the bag. "What do you want me to do with these?" he asked curiously.

Hitomi told him to keep digging. DOing so would reveal six bells. and some wire. "Attach the bells to the end...look closely and you'll notice a small eye like a sewing needle" she instructed Sukaru.

Sukaru blinked. "Uh, ok." He started to attach the bells, getting abit frustrated, but he finally did it. "Now what?" he asked curiously.

"Now, this is where I teach you your first sound based technique" Hitomi responded. "It's very basic for now, then I have a very interesting one for the both of you to learn" she said with a grin. "Ok...so start by throwing one of the senbon into that tree over there"

Sukaru blinked. "Ok." he broght his hand back, the tossed the senbon at a tree, he held onto the wire. "It ain't very stealthy...."

Hitomi smiled. "the wire is nearly invisible to the eyes Sukaru." she explained. "Now, you're used to broad wire manipulation with your shukiren, but the key to this jutsu is the subtle movements"
These bells are made to resonate with a special frequency which you can use for a multitude of Genjutsu, as well as some Ninjutsu" she told him.

Samomo crawled up Hitomi's back and perched on her shoulder. "Just toy around with it for a while Sukaru, get used to these before experimenting with some different frequencies...Samomo will let you know when you achieve the supersonic tones...i'll tell you what o do once you do that" she said before turning back to Shikatsu.
"Yes , shikatsu-kun. A femal nin named Tsuchi Kin firs perfected the techique...now keep punching just a few more times" she told him.

Samomo shook her head as the sound was subsonic instead of his goal.
Hitomi caught Shikatsu's arm again and smiled. "You're ready for the next part" she said with a little smile.
