Dalamar let out a tiny giggle then started to drift off into a deeper sleep, his fingers ceasing their movement and very soft snores beginning to escape the angel's throat.

Illis smiled lightly, then felt his conciousness slip away, as he was unable to stay awake any longer.

Dalamar cuddled into Illis and slept for a long lazy hour before he finally started to stir, his eyelids slowly fluttering open. He looked around at his surroundings and blinked then brought his gaze down to the kitty sleeping in his arms. Aww, so cute, he thought to himself, gently brushing Illy's hair out of his face.

Illis purred softly for a moment as Dalamar brushed his hair back, then fell silent again. He slept for another couple of minutes, then started to wake, unfortunately doing that scratching things that cats are inclined to do.

Dalamar smiled when Illy started to wake but then his face shifted into a grimace as sharp kitty claws made contact with tender flesh. The angel bit his lip hard so he wouldn't make any noise and proceeded to carefully extricate himself from Illis, surveying the damage that had been done.

Illis' eyes fluttered completely open, then he realized what he'd been doing and he backed away, hands over his mouth and cheeks red with both embarassment and shame,"I'm so sorry, Dalamar!"

"Don't be. It's alright, Illy." Dalamar looked up and smiled lightly at the kitty, shrugging indifferently. "They're just scratches. Nothing too serious."

Illis looked just about ready to cry though. He'd hurt him. It had been an accident, but he'd still hurt him. Well, that's what he got for thinking that Dalamar made a wonderful pillow. Either that or that's what he got for being a cat, but we can't really blame him for that.

Dalamar noticed how dangerously close to tears Illis was and leaned over to give the cat a reassuring hug, keeping himself from wincing as the scratches stung from the movement. "Honest, I'm alright. Don't worry about it, ok love?"

Illis snuggled into him,"Honest? I've done it before, but that wasto Kieran's tail," The thought of Kieran's reaction that day made him giggle softly.

Dal smiled as Illis giggled and gave the kitty an affectionate squeeze. "Oh really? And how did he react to that?"

"He was hugging his tail to him and scolding me like a five-year-old would to their younger sibling. Thing is, I'm older than him," he giggled again and nuzzled into Dalamar's shoulder,"He's a cutie."

Dal laughed lightly and shifted but this time he wasn't able to suppress a slight wince.

Illis caught the wince and mewled in dismay, clutching at his ears gently (theres a story behind this, but I won't put it). He eyed Dalamar, upset."Do you..want to go back to the house...so I can try and fix them?"

"No, no. It's nothing. They just hurt a little." He looked down at the scratches on his stomach, the raised skin an angry red with alittle bit of bruising around the places where Illy's claws had punctured deep. It looked worse than it was.
