"Well, I say if we catch and beat every other Pokemon in the ocean, there's bound to be a Relicanth sooner or later," Chloe laughed, yawning slightly as she replaced her bait once more, casting far out again, hoping that this time she'd get better luck and hook something other than a whale.

Her Pokemon also seemed to have had enough of this place, although were still enjoying the day off once again. Saku and Alkaid hadn't had any luck in finding the Sneasel, and had given up, settling to wandering the beach looking for shells instead. Entreri was quite content with their change of plans, still enjoying a nap under the docks as he waited for Chloe to finish finding her darn fish. Cael and Daimon were still exploring the reefs, playing with a local school of Seaking, darting through the waters swiftly, and enjoying toying with the currents. And Mikami... well, was still being Mikami. Underground, tail waving above the sands, the Flygon was still burrowing, sending waves of sand flying down the beach as he seemingly was attempting to dig to China.

Chloe shook here head with a smile, it looked like the Flygon was enjoying himself, if nothing less. So she let him be for now, but made note to remind him that he'd need to fill any holes he made. The last thing she wanted was for someone to fall in a 10ft hole on the beach and hurt themselves.
Shaking her head, Chloe turned her attention back to the cork, stretching to get the kinks out of her neck as she watched the small piece of cork bob on the surface. It was getting rather monotonous, so she knew exactly what to look for when she saw another shadow flit beneath the line.

Mikami did, and chose to take a less conventional approach to coming to Chloe's aid. So when she saw the familiar shadows start to dart beneath the surface, Chloe squinted, trying to determine which shadows belonged to what Pokemon. Perhaps if she kept an eye on the surface, the shadows might hint as to what Pokemon was after her bait.
