He handed her her wake-me up and took a sip of his own. "Not too long actually. Just a few weeks. Enough time to get bored and seek out entertainment, but nothing useful like an actual store.I like it here though. it's much more peaceful than the city me and ric and mama pocky used to live in. for one thing, no one stares when i do my quarter-staff exercises on the roof." he chuckled.

This is great coffee. So, what kind of entertainment did you find? I know I found entertainment for myself. Your shop has so many books in it. It's wonderful.

Harbird groaned. " Books! You, ric, and everyone else, all with the books! Don't get me wrong, i enjoy a good novel, it's just.. books!" he laughed ruefully. "Me, I prefer going out to the club, hanging out, making a fool of myself on the dance floor." He took a sip of the coffee. "It's not really my shop, or alaric's. it belongs to some friend of mama pocky's, and he left 'Ric in charge when he moved here."

I'm not really one for dancing. I have two left feet.

Trust me you don't want to see me dance. I manage to break all the laws of physic and not in a good way. You've already seen how clumsy I can be. Watching me dance is just as bad if not worse.

They might not let us come back if we did that. I'm sure I could find a spell to make myself dance better, but I don't think I'd want to mess with things like that. You probably think I'm silly, but that's okay.

"Silly? Nah. You never actually get better at anything if you take shortcuts. if anyone had offered me a spell to get better at kendo way back when i started, i wouldn't have taken it." He tapped some sugar into the coffee and swirled it around a bit before taking another sip and looking Xi in the eyes. "Why should you be the odd one out?"

Harbird scrutinized the uniform, not making the connection. "Goes where?" this is probably not the time to say the uniform looks good on her...
(oops! forgot to mention i'm playing harbird like he's a muggle. >.< )

Nevermind. It's just a special school. Uh...I'm gonna go outside and look to see if I can find a store.
