The first one is so random, but I like how gestural the coloring style is.
Second one... is cute, but why does Kaiba have the Death Note? Because he looks like Raito? XD;;
Third one I think is my favorite. Everyone looks so adorable in it, especially Anzu and Yuugi. X3
Seen the last two already, but they never get old.

xD I remember that the artist said why she gave him the Death Note, but I can't remember why. Dx I'm pretty sure it was just because she said that Seto reminded her of Light. XDD

Well, Kaiba and Raito do look similar. XD I remember first reading Death Note and being like, "Wow, that guy looks so much like Kaiba! o.o"

Yeah, I had. ^-^ It's so popular, how could you NOT know who Light is, even if you've never read the manga or watched the anime. XDD
xD Yeah, I found them on LK's LJ. =3 Occasionally, he likes to post TAS related fanart. It's so cool of him. ;-;

I see. XD I first read Death Note back before it had come to America, so I was all excited about it and wanted to discuss it, but no one else had heard of it yet. D: I even remember going to YUU*GI*OU threads and posting pictures of Raito like, "Doesn't this look like Kaiba?" and people would be like, "Yeah, what is he from?"
Wow, Little Kuriboh posted all of that? XD Awesome.
Hmm... I do gotta admit though, as much as I dislike the guy, Raito's hair is prettier than Kaiba's.

I have a friend who went to Japan right when Death Note had just come out (it was also, ironically, around the time that the last volume of YUU*GI*OU manga came out, which she got for me), and Death Note got pretty popular in Japan pretty fast, so she managed to find out about it while she was there and got really into it too. Then she came home and linked me to a scanlation site for it. <3
That picture of Otogi and Shizuka is one of my all-time favorite fan arts. XD They look so cute. X3
