Alto saxes and trumpets. The trumpets never shut up most of the time and the altos are just....odd. The ones in jazz band play the solo to one of our songs every five seconds. It's awful.

In my band, nobody hates any specific instrament...but the Flutes (me) and the Trumpets are always compeating...so i'd have to say we the Flutes hate the Trumpets.

i play the trumpet and the french horn... trumpet in Jazz band.... i personally hate my section in Jazz, but the Trombone never practice... But the trumpets are just assholes and think they can do better than everyone else. In wind ensemble (Advanced concert band) every one hate the trombones.... But i dont like the Clarinets...I hate the sounds made on a clarinet it sounds like a Kazoo.

That's how it is in our band too. Our director is prejustice towards the flute section, and she played the trombone in college so we get off easy. It's great. xd

Of course everybody knows it's the trumpets (especially the first trumpets), because they have large egos, don't know how to play their instruments, and are always trying to hit the supper high notes that nobody likes.

I'd have to say I dislike the Oboes (even though I have a friend who plays it) since they kept squeaking in our performance. Also, I hate some of the percussionists in my class. They never practice and make the people who do practice sound horrible. Dx

well its not really the instrument its the people. the trombone players think they r the best. and they r always yelling at the percussion meanwhile we r clearly better then them. smile

Generally, the trumpets because of their egos the size of the Earth... and also because they sit right behind me in band and screech high notes in my ear... razz
But also alto saxes because our band teacher favors them sad and gives them all the solos!!!!!!!!

I even get a lot of crap because I used to play the flute, even though I haven't played the flute in band in nearly a year.

I generally am not very fond of tubas. Me being a flute player, my instrument is like, the opposite sound of a tuba. xD

I dislike the oboe and the clarinate.. One my clarinates in my band squeek to much and the oboe just sounds funny. And How could you hate a Trumpet???? What I think is that they are one of the kickass insturments for they can play very low or very high X3
