Rikka stopped, frozen in her tracks. Sure enough, there was a trail of blood. She bent down, examening it closly, although she did not once try to look at it. Someone was hurt, it was obvious that the blood did not belong to some wild animal.
Rikka heard rustling, and quickly turned. A large grew wolf jumped out of a bush, she ducked and it soared over her head. Rikka looked up quickly, looking into the eyes of a hungry animal.
Rikka got to her feet. "Go away!" she told it, fully knowing it wouldn't listen to her. "Or else I'll have to hurt you!" Rikka held out her palm, closing her eyes tightly. She didn't want to, but she knew she would have to do something eventually.
The wolf jumped at her, and she screamed. "HOLY!" little white lights shot out of her palm, blood flying from the bullet like holes in the wolves flesh. It wasn't dead, but certainly stunned, and angry.
Rikka ran past it, still following the blood closly. 'Don't die,' she thought, racing through the forest. 'Don't die!'

"Okay then, help!" He shouted over all the flames and burning trees. He didn't plan on losing his life so he would trus anybody right now. There was nothing else he could do, so he decided to let the girl help.
"I just hope she knows what she's doing," Blaze thought to himself

Damn idiots won't even fight. Reizo thought to himself, still annoyed as he began to run. Running simply had never been his thing, so it was a rather hard thing for him to do so. It was probably the first time he had ran from a battle in his life, and it was from a battle he knew he could've won. However, he knew he wouldn't be able to argue with the others considering they were both already on the run.

Jessica, still not quite sure what she was going to do, stood there, staring into the flames. Protecting herself was one thing since she could hurt herself and not feel guilty, but protecting someone else put pressure on her. She hated pressure. Nervousness was one thing that was only going to make her not be able to use her powers to their full extent.
"Um, Okay.. Helping!" Jessica then announced loudly, trying to concentrate on her powers. Of course the fact that her thoughts kept wandering weren't all that helpful. Her powers had to do with the mind, the whole point was concentration. Something in which she was lacking at that point.
Finally, after calming herself down a bit, she successfully built somewhat of a forcefield around herself. Reaching her hand into the fire, she was grateful to find that she had made the forcefield strong enough so she wouldn't get burned. The only thing she had to worry about next was getting the boy out of the fire.
"Grab my hand!"

Blaze blinked, and watched as he saw her hand went through one of the trees for him to grab. Without thinking, he quickly ran over to where he could reach her hand and grabbed hold to it. He felt himself being plunged into her forcefield and out of the trap. He bent down, and breathed hard.
"Why'd she come after me?" He wondered in his mind and stared at her.
Blaze stood up straight and whiped sweat from his forehead.
"Thanks," He said, still breathing hard.

Zooker watched the group run. He gave a small laugh.
"Cowards" He thought to himself "I took down a pack of wolves by myself just a few minutes ago without running away" He smiled. He quietly stepped away from the bush, hoping he wouldn't make any noise. But then he heard footsteps from behind him. He turned around and saw a girl following his blood tracks from his arm that was now frozen.
"Um, hello?" He said to the girl as she approached him. "That's my blood your following"

"Your welcome." Jessica announced, a smile spreading across her face. "What did you think I was about to leave you there?" She questioned him, replying to his thoughts not being aware that he had thought it. "Now," she began, "are you going to attack me again or can you just leave this place safely?"

Blaze stopped breathing hard and went quiet again.
"I'm leaving this forest," He said and noticed how dark it was now. The only light was the half moon and the trees on fire.
"Oh," Blaze started, "My name is Blaze.....in case you wanted to know." He said and brought out his hand for her to shake it.

"I'm Jessica!" Jessica announced, still smiling as she shook his hand, trying not to wince as he touched the burn that he had inflicted on her. "Nice to meet 'cha."

"Well, I'm going to find away out of this forest," He said and his smile faded. "Oh, sorry about burning you. Let me help." He said and grabbed the hand that he had burnt. He slowly placed his palm onto her burnt hand and healed it with his powers.
"Okay, it should be a little better now." He said and took a few steps away from her.
"Well, it was nice meeting you....I guess," He said and started to walk away.
"I'm getting out of this forest...if I can" He told her and then walked further away and was eventually out of view.

What is it with him and suddenly leaving? Jessica wondered to herself, still confused by the actions of the stranger boy, who she had found out had the name 'Blaze'. "Maybe I'll run into him later." She said aloud as she began to walk out of the forest herself. Of course, having the powers she did, she was able to easily navigate herself out of the forest. For all she had to do was concentrate on being outside of the forest and she would be outside of the forest. The art of transportation was a very useful thing in her opinion.

Rikka stopped, looking very relieved. She nodded her head, and kept doing so until she had caught her breath. In a few steps she was beside Zooker, kneeling next to him.
"You're hurt!" she said, mostly announcing the obvious. "Are you alright now? I can heal you!" she took another deep breath, and was listening carefully, for any signs of the wolf she had attacked earlier, but didn't hear it. "If . . . it still hurts."

"Calm down," Zooker said laughing. "I froze it, and it should stay frozen for at least another hour. "When the ice melts, then it would bleed again so you can heal it" He assured her. "What's your name?" He asked her and kneeled down beside her. "Mine's Zooker"

"U-uh!" Rikka stammared. "My name is Rikka Kagirinai!" She answered. "It's . . . it's a pleasure to meet you Zooker-san!"
Rikka looked at the ice around his arm. "I'll make sure to heal it!" she said, sounding more determinded than she had a second ago. She had fixed Ryuu-kun's shoulder, so she could fix Zooker's arm easily! "It will be better in no time!"

As Maru ran, he couldn't help but think that his plan seemed a little cowardly. He also knew though, that sometimes that was the only option. He looked back to see Shiia behind him and Reizo behind her, but he seemed to be pretty angry about their actions.
Suddenly a much larger wolf than the others seemed to appear out of nowhere, and rushed in front of Maru, whoo was forced to stop. "Ah, danm it," he said after seeing the wolf. As he turned around, he saw the other wolves surounding them from behind. "Alright, I guess we're going to have to fight this one," he said to the others.

"Nice to meet you too," Zooker said as she spoke. "First, we should find a way out of this forest," he pointed out after she told him she would heal his broken arm. "Do you know the way out, or are you stuck here just like how I am?" He asked her without blinking.

A satisfied smirk crossed Reizo's lips as he found out the wonderful news that they would have to fight. Of course the fact that from what he had observed neither of the people he was with knew how to fight very well. If that was the case he knew the fight wouldn't be all that enjoyable. For he would not only have to worry about killing the blood-thirsty beasts, he would also have to try and protect others. Protecting people was one of the things he dispised the most, but he knew he would have to go through with it.
"Can either of you fight?" Reizo questioned the two.
