Adia narrowed her eyes on her daughter. She was in no mood for such disrespect. Her blood was already boiling. Anymore and she would certainly be seeing red. "Fine! You seem to think that we care little for you so we will! LEAVE! While you're at it tear my heart out and rip it to shreds! That way I won't have to feel it break within me while you leave!" Adia roared as tears fell from her eyes. "I can't even stand to look at you anymore..." Adia said her voice now shaking along with the rest of her body. Before Santos could stop her Adia leapt from the rock platform and started off in the direction of the lake. She needed to get away and quickly. She couldn't bear to let the others see her cry.

Daveigh returned Yukio's nuzzle and then went back to watching her parents talk to Floria. Her eyes widened in shock at her mothers outburst and watched her head off in the direction of the lake. Looking at Yukio she nuzzled him and stood. "I'll be back in a bit." She said and then jumped from the top of the den down to the platform glanced at her father then to her sister who she frowned at and gave a sad sigh before she leapt from the platform and started after her mother. She'd never seen her so upset not at one of her children at least.

Santos watched Adia's outburst, not listening to what his daughter said. He'd gotten this upset before, but never had he seen Adia do this. As soon as she ran off and he saw Daveigh run after her turned and glared at Floria. It took him a long moment to calm himself down enough to speak, his eyes almost pure white. "Go." He growled harshly, turning his back on her and stalking back into the den, probably a move he'd regret for the rest of the time Floria was gone.

Daveigh slowed to a walk as she got out of sight of the den. Tears were forming in her own eyes now. It seemed the statement when mom isn't happy no one else is either was true. Daveigh was beyond depressed and though she would be little comfort to her mother she still wanted to be there with her. It was the least she could do to help her mother feel somewhat better.

When Daveigh finally came in sight of the lake shore she was shocked to see her mother's body collapsed on the shore. She wasn't sure if she was hurt or if she'd passed out or what but she was down and that was bad. Daveigh took off at a run and skidded to a hault next to her mother. As the dust settled Daveigh peered at her mother in alarm to find her still conscious and sobbing. "Oh mother..."

Adia looked up at Daveigh in alarm, her eyes red and puffy and her fur matted from the tears. "W-w-w-what d-d-did I do.... s-s-ssoo wrong?!" Adia said her sobs causing her to studder and even pause in her words.

Daveigh whimpered at the sight of her mother so broken down. She couldn't stand to see such a proud lioness be reduced to a sobbing maroon puddle. Laying down behind Adia, Daveigh curled around her and nuzzled her as she sobbed and continued to cry. Who would've known that under the right conditions anyone could fall.

Daveigh heard Kama only moments before she saw him. The sight of him surprised her. She knew well he couldn't have gotten out here on his own so she began looking around. That was when she spotted Yukio beneath the tree and through her tears she smiled at him. She knew why he stayed back and she was grateful. She knew her mother didn't want the others see her in her state but one of her grandson's she would see anytime, crying or not.

And sure enough Adia noted him the moment he was near. Turning her gaze on him she smiled at him even though just looking at her anyone could see she was having to force that smile. "Kama... Sweet heart what are you doing out here?"

Adia's tears still flowed as Kama spoke. He reminded her that she was still wanted and still needed by the rest of her family. She needed to be strong for them but how could she... "I'm not going anywhere Kama." Adia said as she used her paw to pull Kama up till he was between her paws. "I love you Kama. I would never leave you. I care about you too much." Adia knew full well if she'd just taken a few moments to say these same words to Floria, her daughter would still be here with her and not running to some damned lion who will only treat her like trash and not like the princess she was by blood.

Daveigh nuzzled Kama's cheek after Adia pulled him between her paws. "You don't ever have to worry about G'ma or me ever leaving you Kama. We'll always be with you."

Santos fell to his stomach in the middle of the den and let his head fall to his paws. Could he not get decent respect from any of his children? A single tear escaped his burn orbs and he tilted his head up, letting out a sorrowful roar that shook the air.
Arsenic gave his father a sympathetic look before slipped out of the den with Razi trailing behind him and stepped over to Naida. "Naida, Ma'am, father would like us on a hunting patrol, if that's alright?" His voice was steady though his eyes looked shaken and upset.
There must have been something about the Rose Petal boys, but they knew how to keep themselves in check when drama broke out. Razi, though frowning and looking rather ticked, was calm and patiently waited for his brother to gather the patrol. His tail flicked back and forth rythmaticly as he looked to where he had seen his mother and oldest sister run to. Oh he hoped they were okay.
