Roy looked to ehr...yep, he was the villian as usual. Nothing for it really...he always was no matter what he did.
He wiped his tears away. To think he had gotten so riled up over a tease...he wasn't a Shinobi in this moment...just a lost little boy. He couldn't even tell when they were joking except now. He thought back, combed over the scene in his mind and noticed how easily he should ahve picked up on it but didn't. He then heard her question.
His mind...as sharp as it was, was dull right now. he couldn't think of any witty retorts or apologies. All he could think of...was how much money he saved on Kunai insurance by switching to Gaiko(intentionally spelled differently)
No but seriously, he mearlly looked to her and spoke a simple response though his slight sobs, "Cause I don't want to be without you..." he then hugged her tightly...embarrasing yes...but he was sure he'd come up with a memory erasing jutsu later to keep Etna from mentioning this to anyone.

Kinami's fingers curled and she dug her nails into the wood. Her face held trace amounts of anger and hurt. She was hurt because he didn't appear to trust her, and angered for the exact same reason. She would have been snarling, she was sure, if she had been any form of canine.
"If that's true," she said, her voice lowering to practically a whisper, "then why can't you trust that I mean what I say? Have I ever lied to you? I've done everything for your trust- how can I trust you if you don't trust me?"

Roycontinued to hol her. He'd long since stopped his tears...he simply held her now...she was right...he...he didn't think about it to be sure...he didn't know what to say or do...he didn't have anything to say...he was simply here. Holding her was comforting. It was strange considerng she was the one belting out the anger and sadness toward him. He didn't care in this moment though. he just wanted to be near her...

Kinami stayed silent, unmoving, neither moving to break the embrace or deepen it. She sent a stare at Etna, since then forgotten, and promised that if word of this got out, Mat would be able to experiment with cat meat. "You still haven't answered me," she told Roy quietly.

Roy held her tightly for a long moment without a word. Etna, on the other hand, had a few...
"The boy is still that, just a boy. You knew that when you decided to bed with him young one. You can't expect him not to be led by the same emotions you've been forced to kill. He's still young and a child at heart. You must remember that if you want the relationship to proceed. After all, how many times have you seen a person hold on to the source of their curses and pain even as they spat the curses out? The boy loves you girl, never doubt that. Most men would have ran for the hills by now."

Kinami closed the embrace for a moment, then pulled back, addressing Etna. "Don't think I know that. He's just like Tai in that respect- Tai never matured past the age of fourteen or so. And he still hangs onto Yama. Yama has done some pretty evil things when they've been fighting with one another, withholding being the least extensive."
She crossed her arms in the middle of the room, then spun on her heel to face Roy again. "I don't doubt how you feel. Never fear that. I do doubt, however, your trust in me and my words. Unlike most men, my words are my laws. I only break them if lives other than mine are at stake, and only with the utmost reluctancy."
Spinning on her heel again, she was once more facing the feline. "I need your oath that you'll not communicate a word of what goes on between us or in this room to anyone else in any way, shape or form." She spun to face Roy. "And I need to know that you'll trust me in the future. Alright?"

etna glared at the door, "Then what about that fool still at the door. Should I kill him now or later?" her claws shimmered in the night light pearing through the window.
Disregarding his felines murderous intent, Roy moved to Kinami's backa nd hugged her again, "I promise...I'll trust you from now on...I'm sorry kinami...I'm really sorry..." he said burring his face into her back.

Kinami smiled. "Come in," she called, folding her arms once more. "If he talks, feel free to make it impossible for him to tell anyone Madame feline."

Atsu heard the distant call of who he assumed was the Tsuchikage, and he slowly sat up, collecting his katanas and walking through the door. He saw some interesting things in the room... a small boy hugging the Kage, and an out-of-place looking cat. Disregarding it, as the Kage had called him in anyways, he looked at her and bowed, saying, "My name is Atsu. Nothing more. I just wish to say that I am visiting your village, and I have come quite far to be here. It is really a beautiful place, and I am hoping that I am not unwelcome." Atsu smiled warmly and stood, hands behind his back.

Beautiful? There were still crators and gapping holes in the skyline and this guy called Iwa beautiful? He had to be from a really messed up place...least that's what Roy thought. But he knew that this was business time, not play time so Kinami would only scold him if he said anything out of place...course, when did that ever stop Roy? But for now, he kept silent and just looked at the guy from behind Kinami almost like a lost child. But to be honest, he was wonder what his chances of pulling one of the Kunai Kinami had on her and stabbing the guy if he tried anything. Couldn't be too careful now could he.

Kinami perked up at the word visitor. A visitor? She hadn't heard of one planned to come. "Show me your passport," she demanded. If they were a visitor, they would have a passport. However, because it wasn't the first thing he presented to her, she would stay alert. Just in case, she readied a kunai in her palm.

Himself alerted by the kunai in her palm, but incredibly used to the reaction, he withdrew his passport from a hidden pouch in his robe, moving his hands in an incredibly difficult way to notice, so that he was ready to pull a katana out within miliseconds. He handed his passport to Kinami, the picture on it exactly the same as the face he presented, though the passport was dated from almost 100 years ago.
"My name is Atsu. I come from Yukigakure. I mean no harm, I am here only to learn Giglamesh's dual katana style." Atsu's gentle eyes showed truth in what he said. He was not lying, and for a change, not just leaving anything out either.

Kinami was still a bit skeptical. She didn't think he was lying, but he also wasn't saying everything she needed to know in order to trust his reasons without (as much) question. "Where are you from? Who sent you? Why do you wish to train under Giglamesh?"

The Kage is suspicious by nature. So much so, she asks questions she already knows the answers to. Good to know.
"I am from Yukigakure, though it was... many years ago that I left that place. I sent myself, and, as you can see..." Atsu withdrew both of his katanas slowly, so as not to raise alarm, "I use dual katanas. Giglamesh also uses dual katanas, but he has refined and mastered some jutsus I wish to know to better myself. I have a couple jutsus I could teach some village members in turn for Giglamesh's training, if he accepts. And, of course, if I have permission from you, Honored Tsuchikage."
Atsu smiled happily. He wouldn't be turned away. He couldn't. He travelled from Yukigakure just to learn Gig's techniques. And thats all he wanted to do.

Roy still didn't like the guy's story. He loked to the guy and blinked a few mroe times. He then stepped out from behind Kinami. He had picked up a paperweight from her desk and tossed it in his hand unimpossingly. Of course, he had it already prepeped for his special jutsu.
"Ok...but heres the thing...Gig only came up with those jutsu about 2 years ago. Right before the massive invasion so my question to you is, how the duce do you know about it? Most folks that saw his style are either still here in the village or 6 feet under it. Gig made sure of that fact. So who are you really?"
