Kumizu just laughed. "Please don't insult me." With a twirl of his finger, a small wave rose behind his back and splashed in front of him, without a drop touching him. "Red water, green water, white water, it responds to me. No matter what energies may be here, this water won't let me be harmed." Still, he wrapped the towel around his waist and got out of the water. His clothes were at the shore, and he walked over to them and dressed. "Okay, let's go." Kumizu didn't want to stand there and fight with anyone, nor would he pretend that he was invincible and jump back in.

Rivera moved for the first time in a long time. Her hair had lengthened slightly although the rest of her had been frozen in time. She lifted her sword and slammed it into the riverbed. "It is time... call the rain..." Her mouth barely whispered these words. They weren't in the same icy demeanor of her usual voice, nor the tranquil quality of her formal tone... it was the voice of a girl who had been locked away for what seemed like a decade, weary and weak, shaky and trembling.

"Let the red moon depart the sky, replaced with the clouds of divine tears.
Let the destruction tail the way, memories of conflicts in two thousand years.
Of ten of darkness and of ten of light, of twenty that makes none in the end.
Of twelve is hate, of twelve is love, of twenty-four to end these fears."

There was an eerie silence that hung in the air about them. The stillness was haunting, suggesting of a world that had died long ago, abandoned and barren, a corpse among the stellar bodies. The rolling thunderheads gave a strange, violet, omnious sense of fear, but also of divinity and power. The air was so still that not a single leaf rustled... Then came the first drop, the drop of breaking... A simple drop of rain falling into the earth, staining the olive tinted brown a darker, loamier shade. Then came another to break the silence and bind the chain of renewal. Within moments, all was downpour... everything was falling, yet everything was rising. The burnt was renewed, the broken rebuilt and the battered refined. Fallen stones fixed themselves as if moved by a rapid, unknown hand. From every direction, streaks of light that were the lost souls returned to the sky, one by one.

Rivera blinked, her eyes coming back into the realization of reality. The first thing she saw was Kira's face, just as tired as she was, but in a more visual perception. He looked horrible, did he really stay there the whole time? Rivera didn't really have any time to ponder over it.

"It's over... I'll never have to do this again... thank you..." She toppled forward, her wounds still healing themselves. There was a slight smile on her face.

Lorelai smiled to herself as she watched this, closing up her laptop and starting to pack away her equipment. Stretching out a little and glancing down to Kira, she stuck out her tongue playfully.

"See that, Mr. Angel? I told you everything was going to be fine," she said simply, smiling.

Looking around, she wondered where HK-47 and Usagihana had gotten themselves off to. Pursing her lips and placing her fingers to them, she whistled loudly a few times, hoping either one of them would hear her and come running back.

"Mr. Robot! Miss Bunny Robot! Where did you guys run off to?" she yelled loudly. "I have shiny new upgrades ready for you at my lab!"

With that, she shouldered her equipment bag, gripping it tightly against her as she vaulted off the tree branch, turning a somersault in midair and landing like a gymnast in the middle of the clearing in front of the like. Nodding to herself in satisfaction, she patted the bag, confident that there would be a lot of useful data to analyze as soon as she got back to the lab.

"No...Not my blood..."Kira said quietly."It's your blood...From the ritual...And yes I did stay with you...I didn't want to leave you alone for this..."He said in a hushed voice."It's funny...The whole time the new girl Lorelai was obsessed with researching everything that happened...I was so worried...I actually snapped at her and Usagi for wanting to research you..."He said quietly."I managed to get a hold of myself but I felt I would reach a nervous breakdown at any moment..."Kira held her closer to him and stopped walking."Promise me I will not ever see you staining your hands with your own blood again..."He said quietly waiting for her answer before he started walking again.

Kira's face went a light red."But isn't that what love is about?"Kira asked after the kiss.He scooped her back up gently."I guess I can't force you into promises like that..."He said as he started walking again.He decided to ask about her research things."So...You don't have any memories?Other than being a priestess?"He asked reaching the dorm complex and carrying her in.

"You can say that." Usagihana said in a hissing voice. "It was a provocation signal sent from that scrap heap. It made me hatch, in a way of speaking." The strange looking rabbit creature scratched her ear with a clawed hind foot, causing metallic screeching to sound from the action. "Well, the Junkyard thing and the energy spike, that is. I had to retrieve it in this form, or I'll just crash." She stopped scratching and looked up at Lorelai. "I need to come with you and retrieve your data in a more refined form. Rivera will be wanting that later. I was absent for the most part of the scanning, and she specifically asked me to pick up her cerebral function status as well as any energy wavelengths I can chart... I suppose some of them are off the charts, so to speak." Usagihana raised her head. The robot looked deadly, but still elegant in this state. Her steel wings made a 'chk' sound as they folded completely on her back in two vertical fans of layered blades. "I guess I can just get them from you now, but it'll take several minutes for me to process into the pentatonic formation... besides..." There was a hint of a grin in the eyes on the LCD display that were hers. "You said you had upgrades."
