"The king." Brooke said with a growl. She flopped down against the side of the den, staring glumly at the ground. She was waiting for someone in charge, be it Rellick or Jay, and really it didn't matter this time because she'd never trusted Jay to begin with, and now this with Rellick, to come down and get to know the kit.

Dolsia had watched the anger that had risen up in the pride. Her wise, smokey-purple eyes taking in the sights of tempers that had flared,...her ears hearing words exchanged from member to members. Her lip curld into a bemused smirk, as she turned from the shadows she had set herself in, and slank of to,...another place,.......

"Whats bad about the king?" Hajari asked, blinking up at Brooke. He, in a way, shimmied over to Brooke, closer to her. He blinked again.

She shook her head. "Nothing you need to worry about." She nosed at her mini lookalike with a slight smile. "You don't worry about it."

Rellick raised his head from his paws, his eyes burning like molten gold in his anger. He glanced at his mate and nodded once, then twitched at the sound of his name. Brooke seemed to be speaking to a new member, and he stood, knowing his duty. Sensing an adult female he didn't really recognize, he glanced at Jay, noting her scent was all over his dark counterpart. "Who did you bring?" He asked in an empty voice, turning toward the lower ledge and leaping down gracefully.

"Tay's here." The Dark Prince followed the King, purple eyes worried. "She's so close... I brought her here. Cubs being born on the border wouldn't do, not to mention we kinda owe her for doing this..."
Jay pushed his head against the red side, a worried purr emanating from his throat. "You know I'm going to ask you about what happened while I was away, right?"
"Jay? Rellick?" The soft voice rang into the darkness of the main den. Tay stood in the entrance way, purple-blue eyes peering in. A soft gasp escaped her mouth as another clenching wave rocked her womb. "I-I think it's time..."

Rellick nodded, now recognizing her scent. He gave himself a shake, wondering what had his mind so tangled that he did not even recognize Tay's scent. He understood Jay's reasoning and smiled at Tay as he reached the bottom, nuzzling a hello. "You may ask all you wish Jay, but right now I am not in the most social of moods." He rumbled, and then turned to Tay in fear at her tiny gasp of pain. "So soon?" He asked her, suddenly abandoning his anger for worry.

She nodded, flakes trembling. "Yes, right now in fact." Another painful wave swept through her and she followed Jay's directions to lay down just inside the cave. The cool floor of stone helped ease the pain a little but the spasms increased in time and length. There was going to be no helping it. Nature decreed that now was the time and she was powerless to stop it.
A short while later she collapsed, panting harshly as three cubs curled against her stomach.
"I get points for trying yes?" Jay teased lightly before his attention was taken by the Shaman. He watched in some horror and some wonder as the first cub pushed his way into the world and his siblings soon followed.
Dusk purple eyes watched the kits, eyes lingering on the red form. "He looks like you, Rell..."

Synda had dissapeared during the commotions. Her little paws climbed a lone ledge outside of the cave as she collapsed there. Curling her body slightly, she closed her eyes and tried to calm down. She tried to think, tried to breath. The tan cub didn't like closed in places. So many lions, so many smells, so many emotions! She gulped down the cry in her throat as she slowly opened her eyes. An image of her mother came to her mind and it quickly faded into the air, the wind carrying away from her memory. Getting a grip on herself, the cub gave a small yawn. She was sleepy and too tired to get off the ledge. Though she was cold, she would have to make due. Stepping out into the sun slightly, she yawned again and curled up there. She knew the others would not notice her absense with so many going-ons. Atleast she wasn't being a pain...like her mother told her so many times. Synda erased the memories closing her eyes trying to sleep. For some reason, sleep healed her thoughts and made her forget everything...like it was just a dream...

Rellick smiled at this dark mate, loving Jay for his unfailing wit. He noded in agreement, points for trying? Of course.. Points for breathing.. Gods how he loved that Dark Prince. Turning back to Tay, he stepped over and nuzzled her cheek, trying to distract her from her pain. She was doing so much for them, he didn't even know how to begin thanking her. Nuzzling her once more as she slid to the ground, he turned as Jay mentioned his name, and smiled down at his red son. The other male mewled and inched toward his crimson sire, his coat reminding Rellick of Tay's amethyst hide. The final cub, a dark female, was a mix of Jay and Tay, and seemed delicate as a flower. "They're beautiful." He rumbled. "All of them... Thank you both.." His eyes sought Tay's first, for he knew if he met Jayvyn's he would not be able to look away.

She smiled, recovering enough energy to nuzzle the cubs. "They are aren't they?" Purple eyes gleamed in the darkness, staring back at Rell. "And you owe me nothing - both of you - I wanted to do this, for you both deserve it." Tay-yibah purred softly, tail flicking about her hind legs.
The words went unnoticed as Jay lowered himself to the stone floor. His own eyes were trained on the red form of the firstborn. The little one was stubborn and defiant, already on his feet and headed for his father. The gold-studded cub mewled at the Dark Prince, worming his way between his front legs.
The black lion blinked in surprise, glancing at Rellick. "Hi... you need a name don't you?" The little prince mewled again, resting his head on the scarred leg. The Dark Prince purred, nuzzling the small form. "How about Asakori?"

Rellick nodded and bowed down as the dusk coated prince reached his paws. He nuzzled the little male, smiling as it mewled at him, and then glanced at Jay. It was a fine name. He eyed his second son, and whispered his name. "Nitarin..." He murmured. "Night-Born, Dusk-Wanderer... My son..." He glanced at Tay and smiled, nodding to indicate she should name the third cub. It was only fair.
Nitarin mewled softly at the sound of his father's voice, and then purred at his name. He snuggled between the large crimson paws and mewled contentedly, curling into a little ball. His feathers fanned over his nose, and he sighed, happy and safe. 'Father.'

The kit shrugged lightly, letting out a light laugh as Brooke nosed him. He pawed at her muzzle, shaking his tail-feathers behind him, resting his paw on hers.
Areli raised her head, glancing over at Rellick, Jay, and Tay. She eyed the small cubs around them, taking a moment to look at each one. She smiled lightly, looking at the kits-- the two males, and the little female. She noticed how one looked very similar to Rellick, and how the dusk male resembled Jay in more ways than one, and finaly the kit, who had the dark coat of Jayvyn, but the shining marks of a Shaman from Tay-yibah.

The young lioness paced on the boarders of the land, she sniffed the air. It was heavy with the scents of many, her tail flicked out behind her as her vibrant blue eyes danced, this is where Revyn was, wasnt it? Her mind raced with what ifs, her muzzle lifted to the air and let out a soft call, a call for the Kings of the land, she could only hope her dear friend was there.
Naida's sunset colored form stood out in the fading light, her hind end was dusted with stars and sparkles, a faint purple hue glowed around her delicate form. The young lioness wasnt much different from the others, she just glowed...and left glowing paw-prints.

Overjoyed at the sight of his children, Rell nearly sighed at the sound of someone at his borders. Lifting his purple male and carrying him back to Tay's side, he nuzzled her and walked toward the exit, pausing to nose Jay's cheek as well. Once outside the cave he sped to a trot and let out a roar in reply. The Scarlet King was on his way.
Nitarin whimpered at the loss of his father, but sighed and settled against Tay's warm side, content to dose for a moment. He curled up into a dusk-colored ball, tailfeathers over his nose, and slept.
Jadera stood in the corner of the cave, smiling at her niece and nephews as they muled and cuddled with two of their three parents. She smiled slightly then turned her blue eyes to the lands beyond the cave, and wondered who had come to the Shadows now.
