Lixes - Post 9

Lixes had to admit that he was rather interested in these new people, their ships, and their lands but it wasn't as though he would be going there anytime soon. They made it seem as though getting there was difficult since they needed flying ships just to get here. Not to mention that even if they could get to this 'Belrea' his parents wouldn't allow such a thing. They were finally allowed to go as far as Sauti for this festival but the idea of them flying away to some distant land... it wasn't going to happen. A shame since that seemed like quite the adventure.

As his brother started to speak up, which was pretty impressive in and of itself, he turned to look at the girls. He seemed to try to come up with something equally as good as what Drexl asked but was coming up blank. At least others seemed to know what they wanted to ask even if he didn't for a time being. After a while he asked of the girls in a curious manner, "Do you have any heroes in your lands?" They were able to build flying ships and they looked really cool, so surely they must have some amazing heroes, right?

Aysun - Post 9

Aysun gave a nod of his head as Issaly mentioned beasts being more difficult to deal with then earthling. Looking at the ships though he found himself questioning if they actually had beasts on such contraptions. Would they even want to go on rides in a flying ship after all? He couldn't say that he would approve of his own creatures going on an experimental creation like the ones that were standing before them. It just seemed too dangerous too him. Now if they made really good ones then they would be interesting to ride on, especially with a kinfa on board. One could fly around, explore, get a good look at the lay of a land, then return to the flying ship. He bet a cartographer like Korra would love something like that.

After he was able to collect his thoughts together and got a chance to get in a word with the girls that were being flooded with questions he called out to them, "What are the beasts of your lands like?" That was really what was important if you asked Aysun. He'd leave the questions about the girls themselves to everyone else that was showering them with questions.

Jacinthus - Post 6

Jacinthus walked closer to where the two representatives from the new tribes were, keeping quiet for a time as they explained themselves, saying who they were and where they were from, before opening themselves up to questions. The archer put his bow over his shoulder, one ear giving a little twitch as he listened to those around him... and found them to all be acting like fools. It appeared as though they were already open to not only letting these people hang out here or going to their lands without a word. It seemed as though they really weren't thinking, were they? There was so much about the people before them that was dangerous, the post dangerous thing being their technology that allowed them to build flying ships like this. What else were they capable of? What sorts of weapons did they have hidden on those ships of theirs?

Crossing his arms over his chest he gave them a long, steady, unyielding sort of look before he asked of them, "What are your real intentions? I can't see you having come this far for no reason at all other then making friends." As though they would actually admit to anything but he wasn't going to just skirt the issues that these people presented. He didn't trust them, not in the least bit. He'd been through too many battles and dealt with too many dangerous tribes in the past to just accept that these people were as friendly as they were pretending to be. What they were up to was what was really important here.

Draven
Post 9

The questions started rolling through, those of his companions mentioned beasts, others wanting to know why they were here and such. These were all good questions, really Draven wanted to know where they came from. What was their home like, was it like their own? But from the sights of the ships, if wasn't like their own.

"What is your homeland like?" was the one thing that came to his mind.

Regale shifted at Draven's side, his nose turned into the air as he sniffed at it. With a slight growl, he looked away from what was going on, agitated that there were many around him in such closeness. Draven reached up and laid a hand on the Janarim, hoping to calm him a bit, or to keep himself from turning and heading the opposing direction himself.

Neryssa
Post 6

Leaning forward as far as she could, Neryssa tried getting to where she could hear something, anything, but it was hard to say. straightening back up she crossed her arms with a pout. "Not from here I can't." she fumed looking away. Though she did still try to listen to what was being side, but only the murmurs of the crowd droned in her ears. Couldn't these people be quiet? Seriously, she was ready to shout at the lot of them. "What about you? All I can hear are these people around us and their ideas."

Ondine

The shifter girl felt the energy of the crowd as questions were asked, but around her there were none that matched her interest. She was fascinated by the markings on the dark skinned one and couldn't help it as her question raised from her throat.

"What are those markings on your skin? Is it a tattoo or a birth mark?"

It was so pretty and unique and she wanted to know more.

Nivalis - Post 6

Well. It wasn't the promised sea of mainland danger and treachery that had been spoken of time and time again. The earthlings were small in stature, and as far as Nivalis could tell, they weren't an overly violent people. Even now, when strangers from across the seas traipsed carelessly across their borders, they did nothing but question them. What an unpleasant, smelly, and wildly hideous bunch.

She muttered quiet words of agreement as Naqenni tugged her from the crowd. It might have been more enlightening to stay and listen to what sorts of questions and answers these people gave, but Niva was already childishly irritated at the sky people for their intrusion and then the Tendajians for doing nothing about it. How dare they. Didn't they understand? For all the various wars they'd apparently fought in their history, it seemed like the least they could do is physically show these newcomers' faces to the dirt. At least it would've been a show. That might have been worth the long journey.

But no, it was just this. Just a swarm of people all politely conversing with one other and trading oddities amongst themselves. She really had thought there'd be... more to the adventure.

"I know," she grumbled disinterestedly toward her feet. "It might've been nice to see it, though... To know what they could do when so many of them get together. Especially with a great opportunity for it falling right out of the sky. What more incentive could a tribe possibly need? I don't understand." Though they'd made their way to the outskirts of the market, Niva could still see smoky tendrils coiling up through the air from where the strangers had landed. She puckered her lips and huffed softly.

Kieran - 5

While Taijana was startled by the strangers, Kieran was excited in a different aspect. New strangers? New lands? He was eager to try and ask a question but concern for the woman at his side kept him quiet. It seemed another wanted to know about their lands as well so he could wait for that response.

His arm tightened around her shoulders in support, "Well these slightly barged in." He whispered quietly, "Don't worry. I just wish to see what they plan and then if they are a danger I'll get you out of here quickly. They may look strange, but I have a feeling they are alive just as we are. Their intentions however may be different..." If so then he would take her to Yael where he could make certain she was safe - if that place was even truly safe now considering those extremists...

Kieran's forehead creased in concern. Was there truly no place he would ever feel was safe enough now? Perhaps after this encounter he could show her to his own home which was pretty hidden from the rest of the world. But wouldn't she grow lonely there without him? The Yaeli sighed quietly at his own conflicted ideas. He wanted to see more about these people yet he didn't want to lose Taijana either....

Zyphire - 5

Zyphire grinned at the thwack, "Then I'll try to keep it up." Seemed like the gods were blessing him today. Cheeky after all was a prime aspect of his nature. Though at the same time he thought of his luck the chaos began to truly begin...

Well screw you too. Shaking his fist at the fates Zyphire ended up finding himself nodding towards the woman, "Let's go then." Since Ujana was so good at clearing the path the young shifter continued after her without much problem. Though he did get a few of the dirty looks sent after them for barging through...not that it was his problem. Should've stayed more firmly on your feet I suppose. He quipped silently before finding himself in awe of the sight that they did eventually see.

"Too much talking and not enough action." Agreed Zyphire with a frown, "At this rate they could have fried us already..." Or other things if they were into that...

Taijana ll 5

Taijana nodded her head, and tried to steady her breathing. This whole situation was just too terrifying for her, but in a strangely interesting way? She was scared, yes, but she hadn't yet fainted, which was as surprising to her as were the strangers. Was it Kieran's calming influence, or was she perhaps growing out of it...?

So many questions were flying around her that it took the young marksmen a moment to catch up. Should she ask something as well? But if she did they were sure to notice her and she didn't want that at all.

Amarone

Questions? Oh she had so many questions she wanted to ask. Of course, others shouted if they could visit their land, and upon hearing they had a foundation of knowledge, Amarone knew she'd drop everything to make her way across the sea in their flying devices.

Maybe they'd let her help fly too.

But some questions just fought for attention, and eventually she decided to shout out the one that made the most sense in her head.

"How did you find a way to fly?"

They said they focused on technology and knowledge, but how did they do it? How did they create such devices?

Chryssa - 7

Chryssa's back straightened as she wiggled free from the other earthling, "I don't know either. It's why I started moving this way." All she knew was that the sky had exploded and it seemed like there was a buzz throughout the whole area. Something big had happened and she was determined to find out what it was!

She wanted to turn on her heel and march off, but the apology took her by surprise. "So-sorry?" Blinking, Chryssa glanced back at him and found herself smiling. "It's alright. I suppose the craziness kinda overwhelmed all of us. Do you want to go and see if we can catch exactly what's going on? I'm heading that way so if you wish to follow that's fine."

That stated the hybrid began to move her way after the crowd. It seemed things had quieted down, but that didn't prepare her for the strangers that waited ahead...

Tyiva - 6

The more she studied the strangers the more on edge Tyiva felt. This whole situation marked a change in their histories and once again it seemed that the world the Alkidikes were meant to rule over was throwing them yet another obstacle. How was she to tell the young mystic of this? Surely by the time I return home she'll be prepared. Even if it wasn't her words the Alkidike was certain other sisters would be telling about these strangers all throughout Jahaur and Chibale soon enough.

As the earthling asked about the intentions Tyiva found herself nodding. Yes, what were their real intentions? The petite Alkidike pursed her lips thoughtfully. That had been her question so it wasn't as if she had much more to ask....for the moment.

Uzumati - 6

Uzumati shifted on his feet so that he could see better through the moving crowds. What were these strangers really? The chance to ask a question had him open his mouth before closing it again. It was hard enough to utter one word still so asking a question would not be for him. Though if he could he wished he could physically touch and inspect the strange women. He was especially curious about the one with green hair.

His thoughts trailed to a halt as the girl at his side commented on their Belrea. Tilting his head as if truly thinking over things Uzumati finally nodded, "Ah." If it was far away what type of forests existed there? And better yet would they be more quiet than his had been as of late?

Jhin - 6

As he moved through the crowds Jhin found himself peeking around other earthlings. It was a bit hard considering his petite height, but the boy made it work by bouncing on the balls of his feet at times. Sometimes he would peek in between arms so that he could get a glimpse of the clearing ahead.

Giant monsters...were actually reminiscent of strange ships. Even stranger though were the women who stood before the crowd. Frowning Jhin shook his head. Surely he was just seeing things! He needed to get closer to make certain that was orange hair rather than a silk from someone's outfit...
