"Yeah. She may be a little shocked but she'll be cool with it. As long as you really care for me, that is." Skylar replied with a smile to.himself. "Hmm. I wonder how they will take me being a Incubus?" he muttered before shaking his head. It will all work out, for now habeas just content to know that he and Haruki would be bonding. It should be a wonderful experience and he could not wait. Just thinking about it make it made him and his inner demon shiver.

Haruki now hummed nervously at the prospect of having the incubus as a future son-in-law. "Just be prepared to be barraged with a lot of questions, alright? They are actually oblivious to the fact that you are more than just a human being, more so with your demon blood of yours." His greatest fear was when his parents just wouldn't take the revelation positively to the point that they would have to break up. No, the bartender may have to sort it out in case the misunderstandings would arise.

"Okay. You do the same for my mom." Skylar replied after a momemt. If he was going to meet his love's parents, he was definitely going to have to be prepared for it. "Well, I should finish my bath and I bet you're about to eat dinner, so I'll leave you to it." He added. He knew that he and Haruki were going to have to find a way to get thier parents to meet before the ceremony. Damn. So much to do in the span of a week.

"Well, sure. See you later, love." His smooching noise on the phone was a parting shot before having to hang up to eat dinner. His family house was farther than his own apartment so it would take a longer ride via public transportation to get there. He could only hope that the first meeting would go well with Skylar having to spill the beans when necessary, just to clear up any misunderstanding that would soon arise with his demonic origin being brought into light.

Skylar just shook his his head as he ended the call. His boyfriend was so quirky but he loves it about him. He set his phone down on the bathroom counter before finishing his bath up. He dried himself off before placing on a shirt and some boxers and headed off to the kitchen to make himself something to eat and maybe watch a little tv before going to bed. He made sure to call his mother and let her know about everything. She was surprised like he expected but she accepted it and wanted to meet Haruki. He agreed, wished her a goodnignt and made himself a few sandwiches and juice before plopping down onto the couch and turning on the news. He would have to call Haruki and settle on a time so thier parents could meet.

A few days had passed, and it was now the time for the meeting with Haruki's parents. The bartender was waiting for Skylar at the bus stop, tugging with his scarf a bit to prevent it from falling off. It would be a lie when he would be confident about the demon showing up to his human parents. In fact, they were still completely oblivious to anything about the supernatural, more so with Skylar's origin. If it would fail completely, he may as well go for a plan B to make the ceremony push through no matter what.

Skylar had made sure to bring his own mother along with them so it would be easier for them tonget to know each other. "Sorry, I'm late. But I had to pick up my mom." he replied, gently pulling a elderly lady by his side. He was tall, tanned, with black hair going on white with kind brown eyes. "Mother, this is my boyfriend, Haruki. Haruki, this is my mom, Angelique. " he added, introducing the woman who jead taken him in as her own to the man he was to bond with. "Hello, Haruki. It's finally nice to meet you in person." she said with a smile at the bartender.

Haruki was about to look at his watch for the time when Skylar finally showed up together with a woman, his adoptive mother to be exact. He smiled like a cat as he stood up, shaking the woman's hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you, miss. Now, shall we take the lift?" As if on cue, the bus arrived and Haruki was the one going in first, allowing the other two to follow as he found a seat for the three of them. The outside air was cold, though the bus windows were closed so they were spared from the chill. He looked at them before continuing on. "My family lives a bit farther from my apartment. Just don't expect too much from my parents, though. It's just a simple family home that I used to live in before having to move to my apartment for work."

Skylar Skype and Angelique took a seat next to Haruki, making themselves comfortable. Skylar let his hand grab Haruki's, letting his fingers intertwine with his as the bus made his way down the street. His mother watched this with a small smile. It was nice to see her son happy with someone who wasn't out to use him and then throw him away like trash. The last man who did that to him winded up missing though they could never pin it on her. However, she was curious about Haeuki's parents and was wondering if they would accept the relationship? If not, she would make sure that they wwnt through with it anyway. It was going to be very interesting when Angelique and Ameila meet for the first time. She molded when she heard Haruki's statement. She could understand that.

The holding of hands did help to combat the cold a bit more, the feeling of warm skin seeping in. It took them a long time to finally arrive at the family adobe, but things hadn't changed much since the last time he visited them. The green-haired guy was the first to exit the vehicle, but allowed the other two to follow him. An old woman, Haruki's adoptive mom, was the one greeting them all as she exited the house through the front door, acknowledging their presence with a smile. "Oh, long time no see in person. my son." The mother kissed her son's cheek as she gave Haruki a hug. Her gray eyes now dilated curiously at the two, one brow raised quizzically. "Care to tell who are these two?"

Skylar made sure that his mother was close before following Haruki off the bus. He watched Haruki and his mother interact and suddenly he felt nervous all of a sudden when his boyfriend's mother looked at him. He was still holding Haruki's hand but let go when he realized That his mother may not approve. Angelique could feel her son's nervousness and gently leaned into him, her presence calming him. "Hello, ma'am. My name is Skylar and this is my mother Angelique. I'm Haruki's boyfriend." he replied to her question. He just hoped that she would be accepting of him.

The woman tilted her head in wonder, eyebrow raised quizzically, before facing her child. "Son, you never told me that you have a boyfriend already." Haruki rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "It's a long story, but he does have a job like me, being a pediatrician and all." The lady giggled before suddenly holding both of Skylar's hands with glee. "Oh, so you are good with kids. So delightful! Come in! Come in!" She then tugged him gradually to the front door with Haruki chuckling, facing the incubus' adoptive mom as they followed. "My mom could be a bit weird sometimes, but she does show hospitality."

Skylar had been quite surprised when Haruki's mother grabbed his hands and giggled when his boyfriend told her that he was a Pediatrician. He guessed that all mothers like a guy who's good with kids. Supposedly. He left himself be dragged to thenfromt door with his mother and Haruki following them. Angelique looked at Haruki. "I can understand that. Skylar feels the same way about me sometimes." she replied with a smile as she watched her son being dragged off. She was happy that the other women had accepted Skylar. Now, all they needed to worry about was his father.

"I'm just so happy that my son has a boyfriend of a doctor who is good with children. That's just part of my preference." The woman rambled on as they were on the way to the living room but she eventually let go of the hands. The husband, Haruki's adoptive father, came to the wife with a kiss on the cheek. "Ah, Haruki, never thought that the visitor will be a male. He looks like a doll." The bespectacled man cleared his throat, blushing. "Well... he's actually my boyfriend, Dad." And that was when the older man became speechless.

Skylar just smiled and nodded. "Yes. I love children and getting to help them get better when sick makes my day." he replied after a moment. When Haruki's father came out, he was relieved that The man didn't dislike him, thoug h he went red when the man called human doll. He could clearly hear his mother trying not to laugh in the background. "Yes. I thought the same when I adopted him I can't tell tou how.amny times I had to resist the urge to dress him up in girls clothes when he was younger. Not to mention having every boy in the neighborhood trying to court him cause they thought he was a girl. It was quite funny. " Angelique decided to add in, embarrassing her son, whose blush deepens. "Mom!" he squeaked but the woman just smiled.
