Just talk to him in Middleport, then in Na-Nal, then in Obel. It doesn't matter when.

You have to beat him at Middleport before he goes to Na-Nal, if I can recall correctly.

Nope. Just talk to him.
Kio, he's in one of the shopping screens in Na-Nal. It can be a little hard to spot him.

Wait wait wait.
I thought you had to beat him when you first went to Middleport in order to recruit him later. At least, that's what I had to do. But then again, I was able to recruit Cedric without ever seeing him. Ever. Like, he just randomly showed up on the roster. I was seriously WTFing.

Maybe you accidentally recruited Cedric?

Fenrirsulfr Nope. You just have to talk. Maybe you accidentally recruited Cedric? I dunno what it was. It was weird though. It was like... I never saw him in the whole game but he just appeared! Out of nowhere! And I was reading on all of these guides on how to recruit him, and I was all: "s**t man, I didn't do none of that!"

Soma Mahanon Fenrirsulfr Y'know, I never really got the whole "IV and Tactics are a great set" thing. It's not that I don't like Tactics (I'd have beaten it a while ago if my PS2 wasn't busted), but the problem is that its plot hinges on IV. The others can be played standalone, but with Tactics, if you haven't played IV you won't understand anything about Rune Cannons ( Cannons?), the conflict between the Island-Nations and Kooluk, or much esle. I don't really see how it improves IV, either. Yeah, it clears up just what the hell Tree-san was, but I think that's it. I'm sure for Areashine, she's gotten that from me. But I can tell you that I've not said that it improves Suikoden IV (nothing can be improved upon by seperate work... unless that involves remaking that previous work), but I did, as Areashine pointed out, stated it complements it. And that's exactly what it does. And of course Tactics can't be played seperately loosey-goosey. They wouldn't call it a side-story otherwise xp Though any of the Suikoden prior to IV wouldn't be as strong as they were standalone, at least in my opinion. Yay! Soma! *hugs* Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that it's good that they made Tactics a non stand alone game. I don't like that idea, but, I'll play it anyway. I don't think I played with any of the money making people to get them.

About Snowe's clothing, you just roam around the sea of Razril, Illuya and Nest of Pirates right? And cast the net~ but how long do you sail for? I've been going around the islands for a while now and only got fish ;O

I've been going around the islands for a while now and only got fish ;O Apparently, you cast the next outside the islands, go out to the overworld map, and wait about a half hour or so.

You don't even have to move. You can simply let your ship sit for about an hour. I still haven't had any luck finding his outits though... Curses...

If you leave the port, return to the deck, cast the net, and go back to the world map, you don't even have to move the ship. The net will still bring stuff up. That means no random battles, and you can just let it sit for a while and go do something else.
