   Jayd covered her mouth as a yawn fought its way out of her throat. Maybe if she caught one soon she could go take a nap. That sounded nice. She smiled softly.Maylis sighed softly and crossed her arms over her stomach. These things were tricky! She wondered how Crux had managed to catch hers so easily. She kept trying, and kept missing. But she wouldn't give up!Gryffyn stared at some of the slimes and tried to see if there was a pattern to the movement or if they were just flitting about randomly. Their money was on randomly.
But one of them was a little slower than the rest and Gryffyn finally caught one!

 Jayd smiled sleepily as the slimes bounced around her. Maybe she should try catching them again. She did so from her seated position, reaching out with both hands as slimes came close to her.
"Oh!" she gasped as one actually stayed in her hands when she caught it. "Hello there!"Maylis huffed and tried to use her sweater to catch them, making big scooping motions with the fabric in hopes to catch one. So far, no luck, but she was sure she would get one soon.Effie rubbed her hands together as she surveyed the chaos. She would definitely need to catch one of these things. They were adorable!! Her daddies had already gotten theirs, and she was pretty sure two of her sisters had, too.

 Maylis chewed her lip a bit nervously. What if she couldn't catch any at all? Would Tamandani be disappointed in her? She was sure the professor wasn't like that, but she couldn't stop her mind from wondering.Effie giggled as she ran after the slimes to try and catch one for herself. She didn't quite have her daddu's luck at catching them apparently, but she would do her best!Jiang had arrived before his brother to a hall where there were tons of slimes. Narrowing his eyes, he wasn't sure he wanted to try for one at all, except he knew Kaito would want one and Jiang was unwilling for them to not be...even.

Maylis flopped to the floor with a huff, getting a little frustrated as it was becoming increasingly hard to catch one of these things, and the imp was getting tired. A nap sounded nice, too.Effie was having a pretty good time running around and lurching after slimes. They were so cute and she wanted to catch one to compare with her sisters and their daddies.
She squealed happily when a slime that looked like a grimm stayed in her arms when she caught it.Jiang scowled as he tried half-heartedly to reach for one of the slimes. Some of them looked like other races, and he wondered what made them take on such traits. He almost wanted to study them...but they were annoying.

 Maylis leaned her head back against the wall and watched the slimes move around. Maybe she could spot a slow moving one and grab it before it got too far. She slid onto her stomach and waited.Jiang huffed; it had taken his brother long enough to get there. Jiang was not nearly as enthused as Kaito was, but he would still catch one. With his luck, Kaito would catch one first.Kaito had nearly run into his brother when he made it to the hallway. There were dozens of slimes here and they would definitely be able to catch one for themselves! It was going to be so much fun~

As she left her dorm room, still unsure of what was going on around the school, she finally saw them. Nefertiti's eyes lit up, her tail frantically swishing around. "T-They're sooooo cuuuute!" Immediately she took off, arms outstretched, trying to grab hold of as many as she could. Luck was not on her side it seemed, as everyone she managed to grab a hold of slipped through her paws. She stopped for a moment and leaned against the wall. There had got to be some way to catch one of these things!
The idea hit her like a ton of bricks. She had recently watched a movie where a group of guys got together to get rid of unwanted and mean spirit things. Maybe instead of getting rid of them...she could just catch them all! Obviously her tiny dorm would be able to house them all, right! She knew she couldn't do it alone though, she would have to find Freddy! "Freddddyyyy! Where are you? Marco!...Marco!" She couldn't hear any 'Polo' so he definitely wasn't close by.
She trotted along, shouting for him and in the process scaring off many of the slimes that were in her path. Well. One thing at a time. She needed to find him first so he could help her in the guest she was on!

Maylis crawled on her belly toward a group of slimes and carefully reached out, but she must have made an involuntary noise because the group scatted before she could get her hands on one.
Until she noticed one snuggled up under her sleeve! She giggled and pet it lightly.Jiang grumbled and lunged for another slime and failed to capture it. This really should be easier than this, he thought. He watched Kaito from the corners of his eyes. "Tch." Of course he'd be having fun. This was silly.Kaito bumped his shoulder against Jiang's as he slid past to try catching a slime. "Lighten up, Jiji!" he said with a laugh. "Keep trying! You'll get one!"
"See look! It's easy!" he beamed as he held up his prize.

  Jiang rolled his eyes. Of course Kaito caught one before he did. Everything always came so much easier to Kaito than it did to Jiang. He tried to follow his brother's words of encouragement to catch a slime of his own.Pallas chuckled softly at the sight of slimes filling the academy halls. They were super adorable~ Maybe she'd be able to catch one for herself. It would be nice to have a critter at home...Parfait stared at the scene before her and her fingers itched for her paints and a canvas. This would be an awesome thing to paint. But she was the last of her family to get out here for slime-catching so that came first!

Jiang groaned in frustration as yet another slime slid through his fingers. This was ridiculous! How was it so easy for Kaito and so hard for him? Maybe he should just ask Kaito to catch one for him instead.Pallas laughed as she tried to catch another. They were so squishy and cute and she really wanted one. But they were hard to catch! She wouldn't quit though.Parfait snickered quietly as she slid around the hallway, trying to catch a slime. They were slippery little buggers! But she had to have one, she just had to. She wouldn't be the only one in her family without!

Aurum was bombarded by slimes, all of which ran her over and knocked her to the ground. Once she was prone, she could no longer try and grab any of the slimes. Dang it! Why couldn't she just snag one?

This time Quinton spotted a group of Slimes just doing Slime things. He tip toed over to the group. "Eeney Meaney Miney MOE!" He jumped at the group and made grabs at all of them. "Drats, scared 'em again!" The Baphomet plopped on his butt and looked at his surroundings again. This time he would have to come up with the perfect plan!
