Argyle scowled slightly in the darkness. Thanks to Sybelle he wasn't sweating, but it was quiet in here. Too quiet. Although it had been rather quite his first time through as well.
Starter Pokemon: Croagunk [M] Name & Level: Jekyll, Lv 5 [Temperament] Naughty Bio:The story of how Argyle met Jekyll is a bit of an odd one. After purchasing a bulk shipment of skin rejuvenating mud from Sinnoh's Great Marsh (Guarnteed to take twenty years off your appearance!), Mistress Rosevelt had set aside some time for a fully immersive experience with the product, during which she received quite the surprise. It would seem the mud had come with stowaway in the form of an egg. Unfortunately it was about this same time the egg decided to hatch, splattering the aristocratic woman with muck and eggshell. After a shriek and shrill cry for the nearest Argyle to attend her, Verde arrived and was immediately ordered to dispose of the creature, although not before cleaning up the mess it had created. Whispering a snide remark just below his breath, both Mistress and Argyle were in for a surprise when the newly born Croagunk began to snicker devilishly. It seemed the Poison-type had heard the boy, and shared his sense of humor. Amused by this fact the young Butler then went about the task of convincing Mistress Rosevelt that the Croagunk would be quite useful in his regular duties, allowing him to make the manor to "shine as radiantly as you do Mistress Rosevelt". Little more in the way of convincing was required on the boy's part, and so he obtained his first and for the time being only Pokemon.
Since then Jekyll has proven a good match for Argyle, frequently snickering at the boy's comments be they made aloud, or simply implied. Even though they had a language barrier, what Kiani was assuming was correct. There was something horribly wrong with this Heatmor's mind, he enjoyed way too much being the Scourge of the Land. Indeed she only had two options: to either defeat the Heatmor or lower it's health enough to attempt to catch it, if she wished. The Heatmor watched as the Wooper started throwing acid once more. But this time, he didn't really move to avoid it. Instead he almost wanted to get hit by it. The burning sensation made him feel more alive and he was doing everything to prepare for the grand finale~

Kiani's heart fell as Korbin's attack missed, completely missed. She doubted that she'd be able to win this battle. "Korbin, go on the defensive. Just try to stay out of its way." Kiani muttered, not wanting Korbin to get hurt.
((If she wanted to try and pursuade the heatmor to join her team, even after the battle started, how would she do that? Because I have a feeling that heatmor is going to win this.))

Unfortunately for Shieldon the Ember would miss the stick, and strike him directly in his precious face! Surprisingly the Pokemon would come out relatively unscathed considering, although the presence of sooth on his face was more than enough to make the Shieldon wail ">MY FACE! MY PREVIOUS FACE! YOU DIRTIED IT! WHY YOU COULD HAVE EVEN LEFT A SCORCH MARK!<" Flailing and snorting the Pokemon would suddenly charge forward, head down. It was time to show this Houndour, with it's lack of appreciation for beauty, what for!
((Unfortunately it does usually happen in the beginning of the battle, but with this particular pokemon's personality, he isn't one that would be open to negotiations.))
HEATMOR ROLLED A CRITICAL! +1 to Defense Rolls
The Heatmor could feel it. They were coming to the end of this battle. The pokemon had managed to remain unscathed even though he hadn't actually attempted to dodge. Instead he took a stance and then began muttering and the noise grew louder and louder but the words were still incomprehensible. He was starting another Curse! The build in power was almost complete...Just a little bit more...

Again, the heatmor was using curse. He really didn't need to use that move, he was already at the advantage in this battle. If only Kiani could flee, but she didn't think he'd let them get away that easily. Kiani looked to Korbin, she didn't give him any commands, she was still trying to figure out what to do. Finally, she gave him a command. "Acid spray again." she said, knowing it was a futile effort.
It was a very close brush off. Though the Houndour recoiled slightly, the damage was minimal. Luckily. The pokemon was about to charge when a pokeball came flying through the air to smack the Shieldon right in the middle of it's face!
As Argyle walked by a stone, he'd see a little Tynamo lounging on jutting rock. She nibbled on some glowing algae, humming playfully to herself as she feasted. Furthermore, she was completely unaware of the destructive trainer trio. Unless someone else felt like dressing up like the Tynamo's deceased family... or something else to disrupt her eating... she'd probably just ignore him.
((Unfortunately since you did not post an action, such as instructing your Wooper to attack, using an item to try and heal him or anything, I cannot continue posting until you edit your post.))

"... well, that happened." Alice came to her senses properly, able to recall what had occurred. Well, it hadn't been a battle, but there had been some damage done. She stumbled to her feet, rubbing her arms and legs to check her feeling. Her skin crawled, and she felt a bit dizzy, but it would hopefully pass. She looked down to her Honedge, who'd floated back up to wrap his banner protectively around her arm. "I'm still not quite sure what happened... but everything worked out, so thanks!" Alice gently patted her sword on the head.
Somehow, Vorpal managed to blush, flustered. He hadn't really done anything-- he'd probably just exacerbated the situation-- but he couldn't help enjoying her praise. And at least her injury didn't seem too serious.
Her starter dealt with, Alice turned her attention to the Pokeball in her hand. Well, that was half her mission down. She hadn't even gotten to test the Blitzle's strength... but hopefully, everything would be okay. She pocketed the ball, shook herself off, and continued forward.
">MY PRECIOUS NO---<" The Shieldon wouldn't manage to get out another word in regards to where the ball had struck before being pulled into it. Landing softly in the snow, the ball would however shake quite violently from side to side as the Pokemon within attempted to escape. Finally as the light on the side flickered from red to white the ball would wobble once....twice....thrice....and give off a small, short tone. Jin-hua had done it. She'd caught the Shieldon!
CURSE WAS SUCCESSFUL! +1 to ATTACK +1 to DEFENSE -1 to SPEED
Ahhh that felt great. The Heatmor practically glowed with strength now. The Curse had once again been successful and the power continued to pulse through his veins. Excellent. Preparations now complete, he would only bide his time awaiting his time to attack. Yes, things were going as planned. The finale would be perfect, quite an explosive ending~ Licking the blood off another claw to rejuvenate himself, he watched the Wooper closely as the acid began to fall all around.

(12 - 4) + (8 - 10) = 8 + -2 = 6DMG to Heatmor
Once again, Korbin's attack hit the heatmor. It did some damage, but they weren't out of the woods yet. Korbin wouldn't be able to survive another hit from the heatmor, it was extremely strong. One could only hope that it would miss it's next attack and give Korbin a chance to hit it again. For now, it was back to being on the defensive.

As the trio passed by the Tynamo, the Croagunk's yellow eyes would seem to glow for a second. He could probably, and then if he....croaking, Jekyll began to chuckle fiendishly.
An action which would earn him a wingtip in the back of the head from Argyle. "Don't even think about it" He stated without room for argument.
Not that this would stop Jekyll from trying. ">But if I can find some chalk....<"
"No" Argyle restated. He didn't even need to know what was being said to respond to it.
">But their eyesight isn't very good, and...<" Jekyll went on, beginning to gesture about.
"Leaving now" Argyle stated as he began walking away from the Croagunk.
">Oh fiiiiiine. Killjoy...<" Jekyll grumbled, crossing his arms as acting like a petulant child.

The next stretch of the journey would continue in silence, largely in part to the fact that Argyle had crammed his feather duster into Jekyll's mouth. Tha hadn't made is quiet immediately of course, as it took Sybelle quite a few minutes to stop giggling.
