Austin Aries then expected the kickout, as he then tried to get up after and then pick up AJ Styles back up to his feet mostly using the leather strap for help.

As AJ Styles was half way to his feet from being pulled up by Austin Aries by the support of the leather strap and his own physical strength, AJ would throw two consecutive strikes to the lower abdomen of Double A.

AJ Styles would then get to his feet quickly, as he would grasp onto the head of Austin Aries, trying to bring it down forcefully with a jawbreaker!

AJ Styles would then get to one knee, eventually standing up completely. Once he did, he would try to drag Austin Aries over to the closest ropes with the support of the leather strap the two were connected to.

AJ Styles would slide under the bottom rope, as he would position Austin Aries under the bottom rope where only his head was sticking out. Once doing so, AJ backed up creating space between the two, as he would then run with a attempted big boot to the side of Aries's head!

Austin Aries was kicked as he fell back into the ring away from the ropes!

Seeing Austin Aries coil back into the ring completely, AJ Styles had no choice but to slide back in, since the two were connected together.
