Steve put the pack of water in the back on the floor since their luggage and whatnot was taking up the seating. "You should've stolen a bigger car." he smirked, only teasing her of course. He ducked into the passenger side and put his seat back a little bit. Natasha told him that there shouldn't be a McDonalds far from here and he said, "perfect. I think I'm gonna take a little nap." He turned in his seat and reached back for his black baseball cap, then put it over his face to shade out the sun completely. And in a matter of minutes Steve was out like a light giving soft snores with every breath he took.
"We're here." he heard Natasha's sweet voice say, and he let out a soft groan in response as he let the cap slide down his face onto his lap. He rubbed his blue eyes a little bit and stretched idly once he stepped out of the car, smiling tiredly at Natasha as he took her hand and walked with her inside. Steve pushed a hand through his untamed dirty blonde hair as he stared up at the available meals and ordered three ham and egg sandwiches, a large Dr Pepper since he had learned he absolutely loved that drink when he and Natasha went to the movies, and two hashbrowns. "No shame." he chuckled, giving his firm abdomen a couple pats. As they stood at the next counter waiting for their food, Steve slid his arms around Natasha from behind lovingly and rested his chin atop her head.
He laced his fingers across her flat stomach and thought about the Winter Soldier, and about the operation SHIELD had kept secret from Fury. He wondered what they would find at the bunker and sighed before pressing his dusty pink lips against Natasha's head, murmuring an "I love you." into her red hair, just because.

  Don't think I'm helpless.. ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ The red haired female glanced at Steve when he said his order,well she wasn't surprised that he ordered a lot of food. He's a big guy and needs to eat a lot to keep himself strong. Her lips curled into a smile."I don't blame you,you're a big guy after all."Natasha smirked before she moved to the next counter so they will wait for their food. While they were waiting,Natasha could feel Steve's arms around her and his chin on top of her head. A slight blush appeared upon her cheeks as she lowered her gaze down,Steve was being adorable and Natasha wanted to kiss him but they were in a public place."I love you too Steve."She whispered softly,placing her hands on top of his. Soon,their meals were finally ready. Natasha paid for the meals before she took her own meal and moved with Steve to one of the free tables."Enjoy your meal." Natasha sat down then started to eat her fries happily,enjoying from the delicious taste.◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ Just because I'm soft and cuddly!

Steve smiled faintly when Natasha said it back. He wanted to kiss her right there and then and he would have if they weren't standing in a line up waiting for their food. The lady behind the counter put their food on a tray and Steve carried it with one hand as the two made their way to an empty table. Once seated, he unwrapped one of his steamy sandwiches and took a large bite out of it and chewed slowly. He was starving but he wasn't going to just pig out in a restaurant. Captain glanced around a little bit and noticed a little boy who was staring at him with wide blue eyes. Awkwardly, he smiled a bit at the child before averting his eyes washing his food down with some Dr. Pepper. And just as he was about to say something to Natasha, he noticed the same kid out of the corner of his eye start walking over to them.
"Um.." the boy squeaked, putting his small knapsack on the tiled floor before he began to rummage through it. Steve looked at Natasha, blankly. "C-can you autograph these for me, sir?" he asked, laying out five trading cards on the table for him. For a Steve just looked at the cards, amazed that people still had these. "Uh.. yeah, definitely. Do you have a-" the boy dropped a sharpie into his hand. "Okay then." With a nod and a faint smile, Captain looked down and scribbled his signature onto the cards one by one before handing them to the kid. "Can I also take a picture with you? My friends will never believe that I met Captain America if I don't." he explained, giving Steve big adorable puppy dog eyes that he could never say no to.
Just then, his parents came walking over. They had been waiting for their meal in line and didn't even see him run off. "Billy." his mother said sternly. "I am so sorry that he bothered you." she said, looking between Natasha and Steve. The boy frowned and Steve shook his head. "No, no. He wasn't being bothersome at all, ma'am. In fact, we were just about to take a picture together." he nodded to the little boy with raised eyebrows which put a big grin on his face. "Can I, mom? Please??" he questioned frantically. The woman eventually gave in and Steve got down to the little boys level by kneeling on the floor. He hooked a small arm around Steve's neck and he put his bulky arm around the child's waist, giving his signature charming smile before the flash went off.

Don't think I'm helpless.. ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ Natasha was enjoying from her meal,glancing at Steve from time to time. She was a bit annoyed because they had a very long way before they will arrive,they will need a lot of energy to keep moving and stay strong in case someone will try to attack them.Suddenly a young boy walked over to them,he had blue eyes. Natasha smiled softly at the boy then placed her hand under her chin,watching how Steve dealt with little kids.It was interesting to watch because she never saw Steve with kids,he was a bit awkward but in an adorable way.
When the boy's parents walked over Natasha looked up at them and shook her head slightly."Don't worry."She flashed her nice smile before looking back at Steve and the young boy who were smiling at the camera.
Suddenly a strange thought passed through her mind,what if Steve will have a kid? It will happen someday but does he want to have kids from her? Then another thought passed through her mind,Natasha always thought that love was for little kids.It was childish and not necessary but eventually she fell in love with the greatest man on earth. She never thought about having kids,she was always busy with S.H.I.E.L.D, missions and dangerous job. She had no time to marry,have kids,make a family. Besides,if she will have a kid then she will have to protect it all the time because it can be very dangerous. For now she thought that it would be better to not have a baby because she doesn't want to stop her job. She looked thoughtful,she didn't even touch her food.Thinking about all this made her feel very confused,it was something that Natasha never understood.◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ Just because I'm soft and cuddly!

Steve slid back into his chair and started on his second sandwich, too absorbed in the greasy deliciousness of his meal to notice Natasha who was staring off into space. He thought about the child from earlier, and how his bright blue eyes lit up the second Steve agreed to take a picture with him. Billy looked up to him and part of him wanted more of that sense of admiration, but with a child of his own. From a young age, he had always wanted to be a father because he wanted to be loved. No one ever loved Steve - his alcoholic father had left when he was a small child and his mother was constantly in the hospital before she eventually died of pneumonia, which was unfortunately incurable at the time.
Peggy was the first person who ever loved him, but the woman who he really loved back, was Natasha. She was so beautiful and so sophisticated and honestly, she was really only the ideal woman for him. She was just perfect. However, she also had a job that she was committed to and without a doubt would choose over him any day. Would she ever want to settle down? He pondered that thought for a bit before he pushed it out of his head completely when he realized how crazy it was. They had only been dating for two weeks and he was already having thoughts about settling down with the woman! Steve shook his head slightly.
After his third, he crumpled up the bright yellow paper. "So good." he moaned, a cheek full of food. He took a long sip of his beverage and finally peered up at his girlfriend. She looked very inquisitive and had hardly touched her meal. Captain cocked his head to the side a bit and slid a hand over hers, opposite arm folded over the table. "What's on your mind?" he asked, voice low and soft as if not to startle her. To be honest, she looked almost worried about something.

It's notlike she doesn't want kids,she does want to have kids.But will it be safe for them? Of course,there will always be enemies who will try to hurt her. A soft sigh escaped from her lips,taking another small fry into her mouth.
Suddenly she could feel Steve's hand touching hers,he asked her what's on her mind? Natasha glanced at him with a blank stare before she shook her head to the sides."No..it's nothing. "She showed a small smile,lacing their fingers together."So how's the food? Is it good?" Natasha tried to change the subject and talk about something else,maybe she was just over thinking about it. Steve's eyebrow cocked slightly in suspicion after Natasha stated that nothing was on her mind, but he smiled thinly nonetheless before giving her hand a gentle run and folding both arms across the table. "It was scrumptious." he glanced down at his empty wrappers and he suddenly felt like a pig. Natasha was hardly even touching her food and he had just finished scarfing down three sandwiches, plus about half of his large Dr Pepper. Steve took another long sip of his pop, bright blue eyes gazing out the window mindlessly. "I can drive now, by the way. Now that there is a lesser possibility of us crashing into a lamp post." he smiled, as he crossed his ankles underneath the table. He took another sip of his Dr. Pepper, then tipped the toward her a bit. He made a fake tired face and let his voice drawl. "Possibility is still there but not as likely." he was obviously only joking; Steve was feeling wide awake now that he had a belly full of food.

After all they're aren't married and they're dating for two weeks so it was still early to think about it."That's great." A small smile appeared upon her face before she ate more from her burger and finished it,she wasn't that hungry so there was still some fries and some of her juice.The red haired female couldn't help but smile at what Steve told her."Yeah it would be safer for you to drive now." A soft laugh escaped from her mouth,knowing that he was just joking."Move your lazy bum and drive." Natasha got up and cleared the trays before she walked with Steve out of McDonalds,once they were outside Kate walked together with Steve until they reached to their car. Without a word Natasha turned around to face him and pressed her lips against his,kissing him slowly and softly. He made a fake guttural sound of frustration after Natasha told him he has to drive, slumping his broad shoulders. "But driving is hard." he whined, resting his jaw against his his knuckles. He smiled to show that he was only kidding and pushed a hand through his untamed dirty blonde hair as they ventured to their vehicle. Before he could get in, Natasha pivoted in front of him before pulling him into an amazing kiss that made his heart pound a little faster against his chest. Instinctively, he wrapped an arm around Natasha's waist and slowly backed her up against the car, leaning his other hand on the roof. Captain arched her body into his. Sure, they were in the middle of a parking lot but he could not care less. His lips moved perfectly along with hers and their bodies moulded into one another like two puzzle pieces.

Her bum and shoulders touched the car as she arched her back and kissed Steve passionately. To tell the truth Natasha didn't want to stop kissing him,she wanted more. But they were on a mission and had to drive a lot. After a while, Natasha broke the kiss and he opened his mouth to say something - and then she slapped his a** and he pressed his lips together, his cheeks flushing up like a school girl. "Me too." he finally said. Steve jogged lightly around the car and once Natasha gave him the keys, he pushed them into the hole and the engine let out a loud roar in response. They were more or less in the middle of no where so Steve drove fast down the nearly empty road, a hand holding the steering wheel while the other held Natasha's. He traced each of her fingers with his thumb absentmindedly, the song Hurts So Good by John Mellancamp playing quite loudly through the speakers. "Do you want to take a nap?" the male let go of her hand briefly to turn down the volume a bit, glancing over at her for a moment.

Steve nodded his head some at Natasha's answer and turned the knob just a few more notches, the volume just less than halfway. He could hear it though it would not be enough to disturb Natasha. Smiling faintly when his cheek was kissed, Captain returned both hands to the wheel and sped up.
- TIME SKIP -
Throughout the day, the duo took turns behind the wheel. Steve took a few power naps as did Natasha. They had ran out of snacks and were down to three bottles of water by the time Steve pulled into a rather fancy looking hotel in which they would be staying for the night. Surprisingly enough, they had crossed the border into New Jersey, however they would be driving for at least another few hours tomorrow before they arrived at their destination. As Steve drove into the parking area, he couldn't help but crane his neck at how tall the building was - honestly it was almost as tall or perhaps as tall as the Stark Tower and was lit up beautifully. He soon found a parking space which was close to the entrance of the building.
Stepping out of the automobile, Steve grabbed their luggage from the backseat and let the straps hang off his shoulders comfortably before walking over to the passenger side and opening Natasha's door, squatting down a little bit. A small smile splayed across his lips as he cupped her jaw in his big hand. He ran his thumb across her cheekbone before leaning in and planting a gentle kiss on her closed mouth, then gave her thigh a gentle shake. "Hey." he said, his eyes appearing even brighter under the lamp post that they were parked under. "We're, uh.. somewhere in New Jersey." A vague statement, but Steve had turned off the GPS a while back since the robotic voice was annoying the hell out of him. He was just following the street signs.

Don't think I'm helpless.. ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ ◢ Natasha was asleep easily,after a few hours she woke up by herself and switched turns with Steve so he will get some sleep and rest as well.They spoke to each other,ate snacks and drank a lot of water. Once Steve was driving again,Natasha decided to fall asleep.Her head was tilted to the other side and her arms rested on her stomach lightly,she was sleeping quietly and calmly. Suddenly she could feel that the car stopped so she moved a little but when Steve cupped her jaw and ran is thumb against her cheekbone,Natasha opened her eyes slightly to see that Steve kissed her lips."I'm awake."Natasha whispered,stretching her arms forward as she arched her back."Wow..Your eyes are so bright.." She leaned in to look at him,smiling gently. Because of the light they appeared a lot brighter and it was really beautiful. She unbuckled herself then stepped out of the car,raised her head to look at the hotel. It was very tall,fancy looking hotel.Probably the room would look even nicer."New Jersey,it means that we're close."Natasha looked back at him,taking his head before they walked into the hotel. The first thing they did was to rent a room and pay,after that Natasha and Steve walked to their new room with a key.◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ ◤ Just because I'm soft and cuddly!

His smile turned into an amused grin hearing Natasha's statement. "It's just the light reflecting in them. You'll see, they'll go back to their boring ocean blue once we step into the darkness." he gave a soft chuckle as he helped the girl out of the rather small vehicle, lacing their fingers once she clasped his hand. The other held the straps of their bags in case they were to start sliding off his shoulder. Once inside their suite, Captain dropped their luggage lightly onto the floor and placed his hands on his hips. "Wow." he said, his voice suddenly breathless. Steve let his gaze wander the room and soon his feet were taking him on a tour. He looked through the room, then ventured into the washroom. Never in his life had he ever seen a washroom so fancy-looking.
The walls of the room were a buttery colour, giving it an overall warm feeling. The floor was hardwood with an enormous wool rug under the king sized bed. In one corner of the room was an electric fire place that came with a remote and the bed itself was draped nicely in white thick and thin sheets. A large flat screen plasma television was mounted on the wall opposite the bed. The washroom had a jacuzzi and a frameless glass stone shower, the walls tiled a creamy colour that matched the room. Steve couldn't resist; he opened the shower and saw what a comfortable size it was for two people. Soon, he came back out and got changed into a more comfortable attire - a pair of loose fitting boxers.
Steve pushed a hand through his unkempt hair and lifted a small white sheet of paper that was folded nicely on their table beside the telephone. He called up room service and asked for a bottle of champagne, strawberries, chocolate mousse, and most importantly, whipped cream. Honestly, he was just craving sweet stuff. He really had no clue that he had made the most blatant sex food order in history. In the mean time, Captain retrieved his sketchbook and pencil from his bag before climbing onto the bed and laying in the center. He crossed his ankles, getting comfortable. His sketchbook was almost full; he only had five blank pages left. It was filled with portraits of random people, some who he saw in the streets and others he saw in the go-bus. He didn't stare at them when he drew these people, no, he was able to memorize every single thing about their appearance.
From their detailed facial features to their clothes. With just one glance, he could capture them like a flash of a camera. He had a portraits of Peggy and Bucky, and even one of Howard Stark. But, the one he was about to start now would be of Natasha. Steve bent one knee and propped his sketchbook up against it. He already had the finished product plastered in his brain. She would be lying on a sofa, nude, with her head propped up. Her long auburn-red hair will be falling in waves, partially covering her chest but not entirely. Steve started to roughly sketch the structure of her position.
