Whenever she saw happy family on street, which the daughter sitting onto the father's shoulder in delight or just hand holding. The girl stared at it for a long time each time she encountered such a scene.
There were an empty hole in her heart.
Even her hands were both taken by her sisters.

Petite, pale skinned with amber colored eyes. The black hair bunny girl is wearing a red and white standard attire, long hair tied into twin tail style. Her big pair of eyes are hidden under the gold trimmed round glasses. The rabbit is always seen wearing a curious and happy smile on her face, with a pair of little pink wings on her back.
It was really the only way she knew how to deal with it; by throwing herself into other things that occupied as much time as she could manage. They rarely questioned her, rarely bothered her, and the constant hum of machines was the only company she could tolerate.
Dipping a micropipette into yet another cell culture, she kept working methodically, precisely, 5 microliters here, and there, and then there, centrifuge, incubate.
In here the world followed an order she could understand; there was.. no need to go outside.

Happiness was an interesting topic to discuss. Mainly because it varied so much for each single person. For him... it seemed like a good book and lounging on his bed was a simple form of happiness. Nothing could go wrong. The more complex forms involved other individuals and it just... got so complicated from there.
He really wasn't sure about it sometimes. Still, he couldn't imagine not running into the small undead ghoul, his own brother... and maybe that slightly odd reaper counted. He did have friends now, more than he ever had before, but... well it was rather odd. Because it just complicated things, made them harder. But he was also much happier for it.
Had he ever really mentioned how strange the world was before?

"Okay, this is actually kinda creepy," Cait Sidhe admitted, stepping nearer to the whispering lake. But what the hell? This was only a dream, right? His eyes widened in surprise when he looked into the water. That's not me, was his first thought. I was him of course, just a different him. A him he thought he'd left behind long ago.
A little boy was sobbing over a wolfhound nearly his size. “Please don’t go, Duffy. Puh-leaaase!” he rocked what he could hold of the dog in his arms. “Stay and you can have steak every Sunday! Every night, even!” A featureless shadow hovered over the boy, and placed a hand on his shoulder. “He’s an old dog, Bran. He would have had to go soon, anyway.” “But not right now!” the boy screamed, “Not right now…”
Cait Sidhe curled in on himself, gasping for air as tears and mucus dribbled down his face.
[ 18. Rewarding ] Today was a happy day, she did well in her test and her sister promised to take her out for a dessert buffet. It was the best reward for her hard effort. Her sisters always recognized the effort she made, no matter big or small, failure or success. But not him. He never appreciate anything she did even it was a good thing.
Looking at all the delectable desserts in front of her, she felt like crying.

Now, Molan didn't think himself particularly cruel. Perhaps a bit tough on people, but not outright mean. But he'd been called it a god number of times. And after thinking about it, perhaps compared to others he was. He knew at least one good example of someone far more accepting and kind.
Short, ringlets for hair, and... rotten to the core due to how sweet she was. It was what made the ghoul so delightful to be around. And urged him to actually want to protect her from harm. Keep her as she was. Sweet and innocent. Kind to all.
..and he wasn't about to let some fire demon ruin that all because he was a brat.

[ 9. Repeat ] It was repeating.
Every night in her dream, it was repeating. Bloods of beloved one were dripping down while the temperature of their body were dragging away. Not again please, she hated the feeling of not able to do anything to stop that, but just tortured to watch, just watching....
It was repeating.

Quest Complete Reward: Treasure trove found! As you step inside, a chest pops open! You open it right up because that's pretty much what you do with treasure chests in games.
She stood outside the door of the auction house, hesitating if she should enter. Her visitation would be premature, seeing as to how she had not graduated from Amityville yet. Straightening her back, held the door handle, pushing it open and peeking through.
"Er-, Mister Olaf is out at the moment, but yea, feel free to look around I guess," a rather uninterested goblin greeted her before going back to picking at his gnarly nails.
"Good afternoon to you. I'll just be looking around then," she replied, entering the modest shop sheepishly. Size aside, the ghoul could see that the auction house was carrying some rather valuable works, all meticulously picked by a certain connoisseur of art. It was a rather wonderful place, she thought to herself, stopping to look at some particular pieces from time to time.
This... was what she would be doing after school. A surge of excitement rushed through her, something she had not felt for a long time since she had first entered Amityville.
Stepping back outside, the ghoul heaved a deep breath of relief and smiled. This was her new beginning waiting for her.

Now, normal was a strange word to bring up in Halloween. There was a odd strain that ran through them all. It was actually NORMAL to be a bit peculiar there. But... his race was actually far from the normal.
They didn't have big gnashing teeth, long deadly claws, or even a large form to frighten humans with. Instead they had to make use of their surroundings. Goodness knew, by many human's opinions they might be considered pleasing to look at normally. You know, minus the whole blizzard in the face problem.
It was a bit intimidating to realize... he'd probably never truly be scary. Just the element he made use of. A bit depressing really. But that just came with not being normal.
Why couldn't he just be properly scary... you know, like that owl? He grinned and it sent a chill down your spine.

They never understood why their parents would wish for something already present - such as for them to be healthy and strong...and they were! They were healthy and a good child, and not flying off into the wherever like the rest of the clutch had before they hatched!
Wishes were for things one did not already have right?

Cowering in the corner, they could only hope that their mother wouldn't try to fry them alive for breaking the fine china. They didn't mean it! Really! However...the ball went out of control and well...it hit the dishes and now they're hiding and praying to whomever to save them from possible parental wrath.
The sharp snap of the door opening, and the clicking of their mother's heels shot a sense of panic up their spine.

It's rare for Keel to wish for anything, but the one time they did, it was easily granted by their parents. They had wished for a minipet after seeing a family friend's children running around with a minipet. Why didn't they have one Keel wondered before tagging at their parents' sleeves for an answer. When the adults refused to get one, the child moped for a while because why not? They could take good care of it...them. Maybe asking for five at once is a bad idea.
It wasn't until a few years later did their parents get Keel a Puck.

Was it wrong to say that he hated the thought of something ending? Just that it meant... well the end. It wouldn't happen again. He wouldn't see it again.
He might not see them again.
The very notion of losing something, possibly forever, because it ended scared him. He wasn't sure why really. But.. every time he thought about how things could end he wanted to cry a bit. As if something bad might have happened, but... he didn't know what? This was that odd feeling he often found himself left with, but he couldn't hope to truly understand it at this point.

If there is any 'sheen' to it it's more brownish. A fluffy dog's set of ears and tail are added. Aside from that, he really doesn't look like he'd make a good wall... BUT HE'LL DO HIS BEST. 'Shake couldn't breath. Everyone she loved was gone. She had nobody left. She was alone again.
"Come back..." she cried. Nobody in the clearing.
There were people there. But they kept walking past her. It was like she was a ghost. Like she was invisible. She was empty. Until a figure approached her.
"Come join us. We'll never leave you alone." The man said.
It was too late though.
She was empty. That would never change.
