Or maybe he'd come out of it ready to tear something apart.
Bracing himself, killsteal followed the arrow and moved along.

It didn't, but that didn't make him any less wary. This time it was an Up Anywhere sign that greeted him. Hopefully it didn't mean he had to suddenly find his wings again.

Being forlorn helped no-one, however. killsteal found himself at the very beginning.
He had to take a minute to calm himself--a full minute of leaving gouges in the trees not so much as to keep direction as it was to vent his fury.
