Now that Wilson was endanger of being eaten, Ryan's attacks took on a new strength. Probably more out of desperation than skill as he hacked away the crab, which was now trying to digest his friend.

Wilson got eaten. It made the whole bashing the bosses' brains in thing a little more important. He leapt into action, with a heavy burden of regret that he wasn't over having some snacks instead.

Cass took up post where Edith had been firing from previously before shooting the thing again. Only then did she realize everybody was gone hey wait.

Wilson was probably free to run for the hills by this point in time but Cass shot the thing again anyways.
