Maybe it was her bubbling frustration, or she had finally grown just seriously irritated by that stupid little gnome and his stupid little laugh. But Maple grit her teeth and threw all her strength behind the next swing (perhaps even imagining she was hitting the little tender of the booth itself). But, she heard a most wonderful sound. There was a ding. And Maple nearly dropped her mallet in happiness but she did throw her arms around AJ in a very big hug.
"I d-did it!" She never wanted to do this game ever again after this now. "N-now I w-won you a p-prize!" It was his turn to pick, and hopefully he would do it soon so they could leave while she was on this high.

"You like the Balloon Pop games, why not that, then?" Sure, he was good at shooting, but he honestly had no idea if he was any good at throwing things accurately. But then, that wasn't really a game he minded if he failed.
Rosc stood and helped her up before picking up and handing her the plush she'd won. That strength game... He was happy to avoid it.
Maple was pleased with herself, and so after finally showing that gnome and allowing AJ to pick the prize she had gained, she toted him around back to the full circle of games again. Because she felt good about herself and she hadn't actually played them after they had found one another. So, now it was her turn.
They went first to the balloon pop game, and even with her elevated self esteem at the moment, it didn't mean she was going to go balls to the walls and try the harder sets. No, she still knew her limitations and went to the easier side as always. Simply earning her usual one ticket from the first round. Oh wait, two? Oh, for the hour it was a double ticket day. Awesome.

Andrew wandered around the games, with a very bored look on his face. They looked fun, but it was less fun without someone. Somehow he had lost sight of his date. He thought she had wanted to come to the games but so far he hadn't seen her. Nor was he feeling up to talking to anyone. (Dealing with Molan did that)
Oh yeah, there was her luck running out. The second time appeared to be a failure in gaining more tickets. Maple let out a steady breathe, telling herself it was as to be expected.
"Sh-shall w-we k-keep g-going?" She turned to AJ. And they did. To the next booth!
They traveled back to the ring toss with the beautiful display of bottles. Really, it might have been a place that Maple could have spent all evening looking at but there were prizes to be won.
Or not, in this case. And it made the little witch a bit sad to see how quickly all that good spirit had been quickly dashed away with how pitifully she was doing with the rest of the games. Should she not have even attempted the Hell's Bells game? Was this her curse to do okay with that one and now horribly with the rest. This sucked.
Maple gave AJ a little bit of a pout before she dragged him to the last of the booths in the area. Maybe the ducks would cheer her up again.

The ducks, the adorable little ducks. They were always such a welcoming sight to see at the carnival. Swimming, biting with their demonic little eyes.
Maple reached out for one, trying to aim for the usual red ribboned one but found herself grabbing one with blue. She had won a prize! (Not tickets) At least a prize. That was at least something, she smiled.

Monty made his way around the booths collecting his tickets or prizes and watching others play. He wondered up to the only game he hasn't managed to play yet the water gun race. he stands on the side looking around "Maybe I can get someone to race against." he said to no one in particular.

And then seemed to pick up the exact same duck again. Oh well, a prize was a prize and at least it wasn't a big fat dud. Maple was in okay spirits again even though she had failed miserably before, but that was to be expected. A giant high and then a giant fall.
"C-can w-we g-go t-to the f-fun house?" She asked with a blush, never one to really request things, but she hadn't been there.

The pair of them continued to travel, heading towards the fun house, when Maple locked eyes with Monty for a brief moment. She was really no one in particular, and someone he could probably grab.

After leaving the forest and the very odd fight, Olivia had first considered returning to the main tent area to clean herself up and check for damage that had been done to her dress. But, walking seemed to be an okay indicator of what had happened to it, which was actually barely anything but a few random bits of rock in the ruffles and lots and lots of dust. The flowers in her hair had seen better days, but they had seen better days before she put them in anyways.
So, she head to the game booths since she still had yet to see them at all. Though she was a little sad to be wandering on her own in what was considered a couple thing, she could at least keep high spirits that she would be amongst a crowd of others and at least not really alone.
As expected, the gaming area looked amazing. All the booths, all the decorations, all the sounds. Olivia was so happy to finally find it. And what else did she find? Oh, well Andrew. OuO!!

"Aa," Maple stammered for a moment, caught by surprise that someone had called her over. At least it wasn't like last time when she was literally dragged away. And at the same booth too. The little witch gave the other boil a curious look before looking at her own date. Well, the game had been kind of fun, hopefully AJ wouldn't mind if she played it? (he wouldn't, his player was asleep after all... well maybe later he would).
"A-alright," she told him, separating from AJ for just a moment to go play with someone else.
"Thanks" Monty nodded to the ghoul. "only game I haven't been able to play yet." He said as he sat down on the stool and took aim for the clown. "names Monty." he looked over as he held the water gun on the center of the target.
