Since Morrigan had first brought out her spears with intent, Quint's expression had vanished, but during a small breath from his nose, it returned, he smugly showing a fanged tooth in his grin. It was true that he was mid-cast, but it didn't mean the spell had to finish, his ice would just be weaker as a result. However, he had thought out the spears. If there was an overall thesis of their first battle, it would be that Morrigan's spears were very rigid, and therefore brittle. Quint was able to snap them back then with his strength alone.
Imagine what would happen if the javelins were made very cold, then hit with a wall-like object? Throwing his hands out in front, an antarctic blast of frozen air dug deep within the spears' very core, chilling each projectile well below negative thirty Celsius. The next parts of his equation were already prepared, Quint now bringing them close to his sides, fists clenched and thumbs facing the chest.
There were a number of spears, but there was no misdirection, so easily each shattered as stony gloves impacted hard, remainders of shafts avoided by sidling left as his arms methodically cracked each projectile.
No time at all..What's the deal?! Quint pleaded qucikly, YOU didn't even know where you were, so what? Pissed I broke a couple trophies to save the house?! Get off it!

As the spears shattered into scraps of frozen minion parts, the ice traveled up through the remainder of the poles and onto her back, freezing her spine in place. When she turned around to face him, though, her expression didn't show any signs of pain or discomfort; she still had that all-business look. The way she looked and fought was almost akin to the way a Terminator would do such things, even now as she recklessly threw herself at Quint now that her minions were rendered useless for the moment.

Ryukyn looked at the fight between the two and shook his head, he wasn't sure what had happened, but it looked like Quint was severly outmatching Morrigan for the moment, from what he heard, Morrigan had a lot more power than she was showing right now. Still, it was a fun fight to watch, and maybe he could make it a bit more fun. "Hey Quint, do a barrel roll!" Ryukyn yelled, trying to distract him so this would be a bit more exciting.

It was rough on his face, but Quint's head briefly went to his palm, exasperated. Instead, he tried thinking about it a different way. He imagined her like someone during a tantrum. A lot of the time the whiny just needed to sleep it off. It'd be a bit harder than telling Morrigan to take a nap, but as she charged in without the use of her bats, Quint thought he was up to the challenge. Steadying himself and raising his arms in a brawler's stance, Quint paused to see what she would do. This was more of his world, and a direct assault would hopefully be snuffed out then countered.

In the last few seconds before Morrigan came into contact with Quint, her headwings slid down from her forehead to her fists and feet, creating long, single blades that curved from her knuckles to her elbow and from her toes, up her legs and ending at her knees. As soon as she caught up to him, she unleashed a series of punches and kicks, surprisingly skilled considering her normal reliance on other forms of attack, and mostly aimed at cutting his arms and legs.

As Morrigan began her flurry, Quint noticed how she would want to strike with those blades, not to make contact with her fists, but pull the strikes for a slash across the body instead. Quint moved in with a hand, trying to employ a maneuver learned from the style of Wing Chun, where students use the opponent's offense to find weaknesses in form and balance.
((This might get a little complicated, so...do your best.)) Morrigan advances in, right arm cutting left, expectedly just before the top of the arm, breaking the skin. Reaching in with is right arm, Quint grabbed a hold high on the bicep right underneath the armpit with that then moved forward into her with the right leg, then both able to grab above the wrist with his left hand for total control and spin around one hundred and fifty degrees with his torso, lastly pulling from the right arm down forward to his left leg for a hip throw. He figured he could take an errant cut to his back, but it would be tough for Morrigan to keep her balance against someone heavier throwing her.

As Morrigan was being thrown, she managed to slice Quint's back before Quint forced her airborne. As soon as this happened, she stretched her wings to fly... only to realize too late that they had become unusable frozen spikes. What made it even more unfortunate was that she had landed on her back, pushing the icicles straight though her torso. For a moment, she lay there, staring in shock as the holes in her chest and stomach produced a tar-like blood before she succumbed to the pain of her wounds.
"... You... how could you... how..."

Wincing as the throw was completed, Quint reactively put an arm back to the spot in injury, able to feel the flow of life that had found an escape route. It wasn't the most textbook of takedowns, but it had worked. Just as Quint was positioning himself for the full mount, Morrigan's gurgled words stopped him cold. Ah..no, just stay calm, it is going to be okay.. He knelt down next to her, examining the punctures, noticing that they started from her back, indicated by the way her skin on the chest mushroomed out, which would make them difficult to remove.
SIERRA! Raising his head high to call for the resident medic, Quint tried to keep Morrigan active and responding, now holding a hand in his own, it still warm, to his relief.

Lilith had been watching the whole scene unfold from behind some low clouds hanging in the sky. As soon as she had seen what had happened, she rushed down to Morrigan's side, pushing Quint out of the way. However...
Something was wrong. Not the gaping wounds, but something else. It was obvious both to the naked eye and to the aura she was (or rather, wasn't) radiating. Lilith bent down beside her and poked her a few times.
"Ummm... this isn't Morrigan."

Tossed aside by the one he thought would have been the first in scene, Quint had nothing but a confused face on. It was a little strange, the way she fought, but he had dismissed that by saying Morrigan was just being really pissed off. What? Quint asked while Sierra had reached the injured, she looking from the kit back to 'Morrigan's' body, and back again, looking for the right tool.
In that case.. His attention went back to his back, the slice throbbing in pains, Mind coming over here sis and seeing what you can do? As his sister went towards the new target, So how do you know this isn't Morri? Quint asked Lilith.

"Well," Lilith started, "First of all, her blood is black. We have red blood, like you." She kept poking her, not taking her eyes off her as she spoke. "And I can't seem to fuse with her. This definitely isn't Morrigan; it's just some cheap copy." With that, she wrapped a wing around her leg, forming a long, large blade around her calf, heel and foot, raised it up and brought it down on "Morrigan's" neck, decapitating her.
"It wasn't even a very good copy. I wouldn't waste your sister's time."

Oh. A very simple word of understanding, Quint grimacing a little as both peroxide hit his back and the 'succubus' lost her head. Now he was more or less really screwed: Not only were the bats gone, but Morrigan was still missing. Sierra was taking her time to stitch his wound, a procedure that wouldn't hurt more than the actual attack did, but Quint couldn't move, something he really wanted to do right this moment.
So we're back to square one? He thought it would be nice to slam his head into a wall. By now Quint was pretty tired, physically after the small scuffle and mentally after what...three tries? After this I'm kicking him in the face, see what happens.

"I'm just wondering where this thing came from." Lilith thought aloud. "And why did it look like Morri?"
Suddenly, Lilith had an idea. "Hey, um, Quintie, you're good with chemicals and, well, alchemicals maybe? Can you find out what this is and where it came from. It obviously knew about Morri, so maybe we can use it to find her!"

Well.. Shrugging now that his sister was finished, snipping the final strands, I'm out of ideas, so I don't see why not. It was weird, but moving over to the fake Quint took a small sample of caking blood, putting some on a fingertip to determine the species. That'd be a pretty slow process, since he didn't know of any shapshifting species...
..Maybe.. Quint pressed the ichor between a finger and thumb, Instead of getting Morrigan there was some confusion and we--I created 'Morrigan' only through the bats' memories and their combined bodies. Taking a small taste, Quint prayed the blood wasn't poisonous.

"Well, actually, I don't think these are even real minions that she had,"Lilith said, taking a closer look at the protruding icicles coming from the copy's torso. "If they were real, they wouldn't be frozen solid like this, see?" She was still poking it in random spots that were close to her. "Whatever this is, it's completely new. I... I think that maybe Morri's minions messed up and summoned the wrong person..."
Now even Lilith was getting frustrated. "Who would do such a thing? Who would disguise themselves as my sister and try to attack you? You didn't actually kill any of her bats, because it looks like the ones you used were all fake... so why would it ignore everyone else to try to kill just you?"
