And he was far from being done just yet. It was also easy to tell he was enjoying this, going off of the devious grin that was set upon Tseng's features at this moment.

But all good things eventually come to an end, and Tseng was on his final strike. He took in a deep breath before shouting out loudly as he brought the mallet down.

Nessa chances of randomly hitting the poofs paid off she connected with one. " hmm could i do that again?" she asked herself, and ~whack~ indeed she did it looks like randomly swinging at the board pays off just as well as trying to aim.

Taking one step back from the booth and with a little sigh she swings the mallet as fast and hard as she could. She wanted to put bit of power she could behind her last chance to whack something. As it connected and she saw the poof disappear back into the hole she twirled the mallet in her fingers one last time and set it down.
" I love this game." she said with a grin

After her third consecutive failure at the Haters booth, Amarus definitely needed a release, and it was going to be via a hammer and a bunch of poof plushies. Yes. This was an excellent idea.

She'd never hurt the real things, not really (though what was defined as "hurt" was a little vague; she'd already set up poof races to amuse herself, after all).

Briefly, Amarus wondered if that group had avenged her balloon failure at Haters. Her thoughts then cycled on to any number of topics: she kind of wished that she was at home with her minis, curled up with them under a blanket. And she wished she could stop giggling every time she took a swing at one of the poufs.

This sugar business was so very undignified. She'd have to make sure she ran back to the candy before she managed to ruin anything else. She also wondered where Zel was, and it was her own fault for not letting him fireman carry her again or whatever: how had she escaped? She couldn't really remember, that was how addled her thoughts were.

"No more butt wings..." she lamented, her face crestfallen as she took another swing.

She wished Freya was here. What was the texting etiquette for bothering cute ghouls? Could one simply text and ask them if they were free? How did that work? Amarus was not friends with technology, though she was begrudgingly learning how to use her phone.

In between hammer swings, she took her eyePhone out of her inner robe where it was stashed, and swiped it open to text Zel.

Her texting abilities were bad enough when calm and rational. She hated books, so it kind of made sense her texts were hardly literary works of art. Still, it was strange to hear her speak and then find out she texted like a pouf smashing its face into the letters. Admittedly it was particularly awful because she was so hyper.

Suddenly, as she brought the hammer down in one emphatic swing, a moment of clarity. She texted one last time. It only took her like ten minutes to compose the text, and she probably wouldn't be texting this well ever again, but hey. At least she'd tried:

And he could look forward to a spam-like assortment, wherever he was. She'd have to figure out where to meet him, now-- after she ate another candy. After all, what was the worst that could happen? This same state would continue? 'Cause it'd do that, anyway.

"After the next candy... no more," she promised herself, grimacing.

On the other hand, maybe she could get butt wings of her own. She loved birds. Apparently, some latent part of herself wished she was a bird, or avian in some way. Strange. She wasn't sure where that desire came from. Not for the first time, she wished she knew more about Lotus Eaters. Were there others? Was the birds thing a trait from her living self, or was it just a personal quirk?

Amarus may never know. She shut her eyes and instead of fighting the sugar, embraced it wholeheartedly, because if nothing else... the sugarhigh drowned out the pain of remembering that she had nothing to remember past the time she'd woken in the haunted house.

Just darkness, empty space in her mind.

With one great swing, mallet thundering down at the game, sugarhigh Amarus giggled wildly and her eyes glinted with vicious vengeance. Even if she couldn't kick the heartless balloons' butts, she could certainly enjoy herself here.

And she did. Oh, how she enjoyed this last swing, before the game was done and she raced off to the candy booth again with its distant pink-painted lepus guide.

"Butt wings!" she called out, tossing the mallet aside.
