The Shadow Skirter swayed back and forth as Atticus released his shockwaves across it. "Nyaa! I just fixed that!" Cried Cathy as a piece of it fell off. Admiral Alex's eyes widened as she saw Atticus turn and come towards her. "Woah, hey wait a minute!" She said, backing away from him slowly. "I helped you guys escape and now you're gonna kill me!?" Captain Rachel skirted around Atticus while he was preoccupied with Admiral Alex and went to the railing of the ship, looking over towards where he had come from. She saw Shira laying unconscious a little bit away. "Cathy! Get Shira! Hurry!" The Captain didn't particularly care if Admiral Alex died. Quite frankly she had no idea why the Admiral was even still alive to begin with. But she realized that Atticus would turn on them as soon as he was done with her. Cathy looked over towards where The Captain was pointing and jumped off the deck of the Shadow Skirter and onto the deck of the Siegebreaker.

Cathy sprinted towards Shira. Being an excellent runner she made it there in no time, scooping Shira up in her arms. She turned back and ran towards the Shadow Skirter as large pieces of the Siegebreaker began to collapse inwards around her. She jumped over several holes and skipped around several others before making it close enough to jump back onto the deck of the Shadow Skirter. By this time Admiral Alex was pressed back against a wall, both hands flat against it as if she were trying to make herself as flat as possible. Her eyes were still wide with fear as Atticus had almost reached her.

"Now what!?" Asked Cathy nervously. "We need to wake her up," replied the Captain calmly. Cathy ran her hand through her hair as she thought for a moment. "We have some smelling salts in the kitchen or maybe some cold water from the showers?" Captain Rachel kicked Shira hard in the side with her armored boot. "Wake up Princess and stop your crazy boyfriend!" She yelled at her. "Captain that's not gonna work!" Cried Cathy, holding her hand up to stop the Captain from inflicting further damage on the already critically injured Shira.

As they were arguing about what to do the ship slowly began absorbing Shira, pulling her into itself as if she had been placed in a pit of tar. Soon Shira had been absorbed completely and was floating in complete blackness. Dark fluid surrounded her, fusing broken bones back together and closing wounds. Unlike with Atticus, the liquid was steaming and hissing as if Shira's very presence inside the ship was hurting it. Nevertheless it continued to heal her, restoring her resonance force and consciousness as it worked.

The Shadow Skirter pushed Shira back out of itself onto the deck where she had lain before. Cathy and Captain Rachel were both looking down at her. "Well. I didn't think the Shadow Skirter would actually take her in," Captain Rachel said, arms folded. Cathy bent over Shira. "Shira! Are you alright? Can you hear me? We're in big trouble here!" She said, grabbing Shira's hand to help her stand up.

Trey from the distance saw the other's as he just stood there So.. he's finally lost it Guess il go find him Trey walked up to the ship as he saw cathy he looked at her as a flame shot in his eye Atticus Ive been waiting to fight you for awhile now we never finished our fight in the tournament he thought I guess id better fix his sanity for now Trey walked off deeper into the ship unsure if the other's saw him leave

With his attention focused solely on Alex, Atticus would not be able to hear or sense that Shira had been healed until she came running over in between him and Alex. As she spoke to him, Atticus seemed to not even understand what it is that she was saying, suddenly as she stepped closer towards him, Atticus would step back and even raise his hand almost as if he was going to attack her, but thankfully, that was not the case. The moment, Shira placed her arms around him, Atticus would seem to resonate with her and he began to calm down. A few seconds later, Atticus' body would become engulfed in a black light and then shatter to pieces, revealing a normal looking Atticus in it's place. Resting his head on her shoulders, Atticus sighed, "I was afraid that I lost another person that I loved. I couldn't stand the thought of losing you like I lost my her." he whispered.

Atticus would soon set himself free from Shira's grasp and looked around as the ship had nearly been engulfed by the water, "Now's not the time for this. We need to hurry up or we will both die." he stated as he took her hand and ran towards the very edge of the Siegebreaker. Looking up at where the Shadow Striker was, Atticus took Shira into his arms and jumped with all his might, landing safely on the deck of the ship.

For several moments it seemed as if it would be impossible for the Shadow Skirter to break free of the Siegebreaker's pull. The engines strained, reaching a higher and higher pitch as more and more stress was put onto them. Suddenly there was a jerk and the Siegebreaker's massive command tower was rushing downwards past them as the Shadow Skirter pulled itself upwards and into the sky. Moments later there was a massive splash and waves of water rose above the ship, coming down on everyone who was above decks. Yet the Shadow Skirter still rose, pulling itself out of the grip of the Siegebreaker's gravity and into the air.

Cathy jumped to her feet and gave a cheer, despite being soaking wet. "Yeah! We made it!" She said, raising her fist into the air in victory as they continued to rise. Admiral Alex sat down, leaning her back against a wall while holding her sprained wrist with her other hand. Her uniform was sopping wet but she was laughing with relief. Captain Rachel came out of the bridge room and gave a wry grin. "Several hundred feet above sea level and climbing," she announced. Rats crawled out from below decks and began going about their duties again. This time they left Shira alone, seeming to be happy for the moment just to be alive.
