Melvin frowned at the cat. "We can wash the cat too." He didn't seem too excited about that part, but was all for cleaning Jerry. He followed along before he stopped, found a place he was sure no one would take it, and hid his blue blanket.

Once it was stored, he followed after Tracey and Mass. "I can shave him if he needs it." Melvin volunteered.

When Harrison returned, he and B0nez got their personal items from the computer table, and locked up, like usual. The main bedroom was empty.

B0nez didn't give it a second glance.

He did grab his black box, and one of his smaller laptops.

When the two arrived back at the Casino, Harrison stripped off his jacket, tossing it on his chair on stage and rolling up his sleeves. He swept his eyes over his crew- dusty, beat up, and could feel the extra miasma curling through the casino.

"REPORTS!" he barked, "what'd we find out?"

Tracey gave Candace a forlorn look. "Yes. I know. Shame isn't it? He likes being under water though so I'm sure I'll have the sheer joy of bathing him a second time." She didn't look too thrilled about the prospects though.

Melvin got a bright smile. "Though I think that might improve him considerably, I'm not sure that would go down so well."

"Lets get him to a shower regardless."

Candace actually jumped at Harrison's sudden barking of orders, having not noticed his return straight away. Had she found out anything? She frowned. "I didn't really see anything too crazy. The place is ready to collapse, though the rest of the kingdom itself is in..surprisingly good condition for a kingdom that has collapsed. You'd think with the falling of the tower it would have destroyed some of the town around it. And I also came across a portal of sorts that sent me into another part of the tower itself." Po nodded in agreement.

"It seems the tower is still...active in a way..and filled with riddle clues. I don't know about you but that seems suspicious to me. I...I fell through the floor near the top before I could find out what was at the top. I'm sorry." She didn't sound at all happy about that admission.

User ImageConcetta flounced back in, running her long nailed hand through freshly blow-dried locks. She was now sporting a deep blue velour jogging suit that was too tight to actually be used for jogging.

"Only thing I found out is that they got a really good competitor for World's Deadliest Gardens." Cee glanced behind her as Snap joined them all as well. The green lipped woman was still silent in her black suit, hat and glasses. She was stony as ever.

"Got a little bitta miasma though." She shrugged nonshalantly and sauntered to the bar.

Melvin still felt a good shave would be a nice idea, and decided he might try regardless of what Tracey said. Following, he passed Saliva as she came by.

"Where are you guys going?" She asked.

"We're all taking a shower." She said as if they were planning to go to Disney World.

"All of you? But you just got one." She said, but Melvin seemed not to care. A shower was always a good idea.

Sighing, she waved him off. "Just don't get mauled." She said, and went to sit and see what the King had to say.

Serafina's eyes turned to Harrison as soon as he entered the room.

He did not seem happy. What had happened? Where had he gone? Serafina pulled at her collar, unbuttoning a button as if his very presence and anger was making the room warmer, before pondering. Should she say her piece? ... Of course she should. While she mostly preferred to speak in private, and not spread her information around, they didn't have that kind of luxury anymore. They were all fighting for their lives here, and she desperately needed to make sure she properly fought for her life. Even if that meant admitting to her theories, her reasonings, and what she had seen down in that cave.

She separated from her counter and approached Harrison, bowing her head as a show of respect.

"As you may or may not have heard, the Tower actually collapsed once... something happened. I do not know what happened, though I am wondering if it was related to the strange math riddle I did not get the chance to finish, lined on the floors on every bunch of floors." Honestly, she would have paid more attention to the math riddle if she wasn't busy dying from that damn torturous tower of suffering. "But we ended up in an underground lake that was underneath the Tower. It seemed like it had been there the entire time. There was a King chalice sitting on the bottom of the lake, and a silvery gate towards one side of the cave, swirls in it that reflected nothing." She bit down on her lip. "No one could figure out if it led anywhere, and I'm not sure if it did, though there was ... something that happened over there. I didn't focus on over there. Hopefully, one of our guys were."

Serafina paused, before continuing on, straightening her back and looking into her King's eyes confidently.

"I concentrated on the wall, where there were runes of the Kingdoms. Only seven, though. It was as if the eighth kingdom did not even exist, or perhaps ... never had, really, in the ancient runes at least. The woman next to me had an odd suggestion that might have some merit--she suggested that, perhaps, the eighth kingdom was once all kingdoms. Perhaps the eighth kingdom is what is remaining of the legends, or ... was what was left of the legends, able to merge into any kingdom and yet stay as their own as well without needing a particular allegiance to any of the seven."

Despite her own eternal hesitance at offering what might have seemed to be such a wild theory, she knew there was merit to it, and she could feel herself able to back it up. If she could back it up, it was worth consideration. She wasn't sure where the Silver Kingdom's adaptability due to having been the original King's Kingdom come into play, but if it ever did, it was important information. Anything was something they could work with.

"There was then a voice that talked to all of us, before the room was overwhelmed with miasma crystals that seemed to threaten to consume us lest we escape. But the voice spoke of the seven kingdoms--that is, blue, white, green, violet, gold, black, and red." Could she remember the relics the voice spoke of? She bit her lip. "We had a weapon, to represent protection. It was formed from the purest light, it claimed. Each kingdom had something, a relic, which once belonged to the Great King that united us all, that True King the Voice is so insistent that we return to. There was an amulet of power, a fountain made of pure water, and... I remember everything was very pure, whether it be a destructive item or a constructive item, perhaps implying that the True King was the ultimate in power."

Was there anything else she could think of? Serafina pondered for a moment, looking down to her feet, before looking up at Harrison once again, nodding her head. "The water in the lake drained after that voice talked. That is ... all I can recall, sir." She nodded her head once again, bowing it in respect, before heading back to the bar and her long island iced tea.

Harrison was back. Or someone was in the penthouse. Either way Rep wanted to keep the notice of what they'd been up to a minimum - and maybe, just maybe spook the hell out of Nuk in the process. So when their visitor caught his attention, despite being aware that his guys weren't too bothered or upset at what he got up to on his own time, he dramatically put his fingers to his lips in a silence gesture and looked outright spooked - maybe a little more than was warranted - for dramatic effect.

"Looks like we aren't alone anymore." he purred when he heard the chime of the elevator descending.

"Come shower. Then we'll go down." there wasn't much choice in the matter as always, as Rep didn't wait for a yes or no, simply slid off the bed and sauntered out to the huge shower, dressed in absolutely nothing at all.

--

When they actually did get to the bottom, Rep was clean, dressed in a brand new perfectly creased (for as long as it lasted) suit and looked delighted. He strode out of the elevator ahead of Nuk and made his way to the bar, stopping when he noticed Harrison in the casino and giving him a hopeful wave. "Welcome back." he purred.

Tracey led the way along the hallways to one of the staff showers. It was nowhere near as fancy as the penthouse showers, but for someone as muddy as Jerry, it would do. She gave Mass a solemn look and pointed at the tiled floor. "Stay."

He looked baffled but stayed put anyway.

"Ok Melvin, you get him started, just, I don't know, spray him with hot water or something till he's presentable. Minimal shaving. I will go pick up some clean clothes for him. If you get Mass clean, its a bonus." She left with her usual brisk pace.

Mass wondered if Melvin had more hot dogs.

The games and fun times looked like it was over. The king ad far as Jing could tell was getting serious as he decided to give him the honor of sitting at moderate attention. Which simply was just uncrossing his legs and waing up from his nap.

"While the tower was in shambles, the rest of the surrounding area is fairly well off, salvageable to say the very least. The population seemed to have liquidated, I did not run into many casualties, living or otherwise."he offered up quickly.

"The reason for the tower collapse is still under investigation, not much was found in the rubble to made an educated guess. " he began to list off again on one hand. "the floors are in a state of limbo, ready to go, the treasure is not salvageable and worse of all." pausing for dramatic effect.

"They don't have running water. " The kingdom was essentially dead in his eyes.

Olivia watched, having not moved a muscle since she arrived back. Everyone was moving, even those who were tired. Showers, drinks, blankets, changes of clothing and even just a moment to sit. All of them were tempting to her, she hadn't had any rest since she had gotten to Blue in the first place and about the only time she had sat was when she was picking flowers.

But, she had no idea how to ask for anything, she wasn't really at all assertive. She was tempted to ask Roar, but she didn't know where he was, or Candace ... but she seemed busy. Olivia nibbled on her bottom lip a little and debated her options, scanning around the room. Well, there was the the winged boy from Silver ... who didn't seem so winged anymore in his new attire. Did he convert as well, just as the other Silver girl? Huh.

He was an option though and made her way over to him, minding not to make herself look really too obvious as reports were being given. Hopefully she wasn't interrupting anything for any of them. "H-hey," she greeted with a soft smile.

Melvin beamed back. "Got it." She said, taking Jerry's arms and dragging him across the floor. The guy was unconscious at this point, though Melivn wondered if he should make him a bit more....easy going. He still had some Royal Blue on him after all.

Saving it for now, he turned on the water and tested it for a nice warm temperature, and then went to find a bar of soap and whatever else he could find, eventually coming back with all manner of small conditioner and shampoo. With the contents of a hotel in his hand, he organized them neatly and started to strip the man. "Ohhh. You are hairy." Hmm. She said minimal, so that mean his back was fine, right?

Stripped down, Melvin dumped all manner of shampoo on Jerry's head, making sure the man was seated against the tile wall, and then set to work on giving him a thorough cleaning, humming as he went along. When Mass looked over at him, the chemist smiled at the tiger. "I haven't gotten this lucky in a while."

While he was speaking with Jordon, a little presence suddenly appeared by his arm. “oh hey.” He smiled at her. If she looked closely she could see his horns as he turned his head to look at her. She looked like she was holding up ok, but she clearly hadn’t converted yet. He wondered if it would be better for her to make the conversion, she seemed lost. “I’m selling information; perhaps you can get in on the deal… or convert. Time is running out, we’ll have to make decisions soon.”

Nuk didn't need to be told twice. In actuality, he hadn't needed to be told at all -- he'd been hyper aware since the moment he'd stepped into the room, and into Rep's ensnarement. Call it instincts, maybe, to compensate for his lack of intelligence. He had absolutely no idea that neither Jordan nor Harrison were particularly bothered by their romp. All he knew was the sound of someone in the hallway, his ears pricking to catch the sound, snapping his eyes in that direction. Even that was too loud for him; the plush sheets rustled with a silken sound, air leaving the goose-feather down pillow like a soft sigh. His tangled black hair was far too conspicuous strewn across the neon blues, Rep's hair faring even worse.

So, completely fooled by Rep's dramatic performance, the shape-shifter went completely silent, his body tensed, anxiety showing itself in the hostility beginning to darken Nuk's expression. Only when the danger had passed and Rep spoke again did he exhale, slowly, relaxing for a moment. But only for that moment. His eyes reopened, amber eyes focusing to pinpricks, and he was already sitting up by the time Rep had slid off the bed, looking a little annoyed at that smug little purr. He had half a mind not to listen to that command this time, staying seated at the edge of the bed to just watch the redhead saunter into the shower... watching him go, however, proved a very persuasive argument. Getting to his feet, he followed as he had the entire night, scowling a bit and mentally cursing himself for listening to this sadistic a*****e.

Then again, as mangy as he was, he had no interest in smelling of j**z.

~~~
Raven-black hair still dripping from the shower, Nuk kept his shoulders hunched as he headed back towards the group, his clothes looking just as dirty as before. It felt a little counter-intuitive to put filthy clothes on after you'd just showered, but the dealer wasn't the type to give a s**t about something as trivial as that.
Nor about the little trickle of water he was trailing behind him.
Sliding up beside Jing, he rested his forearm on one of the other man's shoulders, quirking an eyebrow a little as he listened to the rest of the group.
She heard Rep's voice and perked up. Finally! Someone she could cry to and would understand her. Po was great and all but she just didn't get it; her suit had been ruined and she hadn't so much as bat an eye, changing into a t-shirt and sweats with sneakers for their return. Sigh. Pouting her lips, Candace snuck up behind Rep and sliding her arms up his shoulders until she could wrap them around his neck and pull herself up, giving a mournful whine. "Reeeeeeeep. The tower ruined my favorite dress and shoes." She clung to him like a sad child, nuzzling him with her cheek. "Your suit seems to have fared well."
