Bruce grinned, opening his door and sliding out, making his way over to his boyfriend and tugging at his hand happily, “come on sweetheart if we hurry then we can watch the sunset first!” he said excitedly grabbing the telescope and the sweatshirts and starting towards the clearing to their right.
"Sounds like a plan," Tony grinned, hurrying alongside him to the clearing within the trees. He gave the folded blanket a couple good shakes and let the air catch it so it spread out mostly flat on the grass. Then he got on his knees and quickly smoothed the wrinkles out. As soon as Bruce set the telescope down, Tony reached out and tugged him down onto the blanket with him.

“oof.” Bruce said laughing as he fell onto the blanket next to tony, “helllo there.” he said curling into his boyfriend, “did i mention that this is the best date ever?” he asked smiling and slipping his hand into tony’s. ” because it is.”
"Heyyy," Tony responded flirtatiously. He squeezed his boyfriend's hand, then wrapped his arm around his back to pull him closer. "I think you might've mentioned it at some point," he teased, though it made him fuzzy inside to hear. He peppered a bunch of kisses on Bruce's face and settled in to watch the sun on its decline towards the horizon.

Bruce smiled, cuddling as close to tony as he possibly laying his head on tony’s shoulder comfortably. “i like this, this is nice.” he said his hand sliding over tony waist and laying there. “really nice.”
The 17-year old made a purring noise at the intimacy. They were all alone out here on the hill in the semi-wilderness; part of him hoped because of that Bruce might be willing to go a little further with... touching one another and stuff. "Yeah, it is," he agreed, running his fingers down Bruce's side.

Bruce smiled, watching as the pink faded into orange and the orange into purple. The sky grew darker and darker and they laid there in a not at all awkward silence. the kind that bruce usually only managed with people he had known forever but, even though he hadnt known tony all that long it felt like he did. Felt like he had known him forever. “look, its the first star, make a wish.”
Tony looked up at the dim but twinkling dot Bruce had pointed to. He chuckled sheepishly; he'd kind of given up on 'wishing' for things a long time ago... Whenever he had it only seemed to make things worse, as if it jinxed it instead of making it come true. "I dunno... I'm not sure what to wish for..." he lied, rubbing the back of his neck. "I don't wanna hog it, maybe you should take it instead?" he suggested, looking over at his boyfriend and squeezing his hand gently. He was more interested in what Bruce wanted anyway.

Bruce smiled leaning over to kiss his boyfriend, “i dont have anything left to wish for.” he said settling back down onto the blanket, “today is perfect, you dont have to tell me what you wish for,” he offered hoping it would make tony wish for something.
The 17-year old blinked, wondering how that was possible. Wasn't there always something more someone could want? Bruce must just be being sweet, as usual, he concluded to himself. Tony fidgetted on the blanket, staring up at the star that was growing more and more luminous as the darkness took over the sky. There were a million and one things he could wish for himself... picking just one was the trouble. Maybe instead... he licked his lips, looking over at Bruce one last time before looking back up and shutting his eyes very tight. 'I want to be the one who will always make Bruce happy,' he thought in his head, committing to it before opening his eyes again.

Bruce grinned happily, leaning up to kiss tony’s cheek. “i love you.” he said still a little too happy about the fact that he could even say that. Bruce fell onto his back hand still twined with tony’s he stared up at the stars. “this was a really great idea, theyre really bright tonight.”
"Love you too, bookworm," Tony smiled, feeling good about his wish. "Of course it was a great idea; I came up with it!" he joked, sticking out his tongue. "When you wanna get a closer look at 'em, just say so, we'll put up the telescope," he grinned.

“Id rather not,” He said squeezing his boyfriends hand happily and smiling. “I like it much rather cuddle with you sweetheart.”
"Well, I can't imagine we'll be cuddling /all/ night," Tony laughed, but he rolled over on top Bruce with a smirk. "For instance, we might want to switch it up with a little making out."

Bruce smiled shyly, “i think i can deal with that.” he said smiling and kissing his boyfriend. His stomach doing little back-flips because his boyfriend was literally towering over him and he couldnt really deny that he liked it… a lot.
Tony tried to keep himself from getting /too/ excited in their current position, though that wasn't exactly easy. All his hormones were saying /go go go/! He brought their mouths together repeatedly, every so often catching Bruce's tongue with his own, and his toes curled inside his sneakers.

Bruce’s hands settled in tony’s hair, pulling his face closer and keeping it there because he just kept pulling away too often for bruce’s liking. Bruce shifted, nibbling tony’s lip between his teeth lightly, tugging his hair probably a little harder than he should.
Tony gave a little moan when his hair was tugged, getting the idea to keep their mouths together. He couldn't help it, his hips started to move ever so slightly as he kissed Bruce harder.

As much as bruce liked this, he was also starting to fill with an overwhelming fear of…. well everything going on. Bruce was trying very hard not to think about every other time he had been in this situation. every other time he had not enjoyed it in the least. and even though his mind registered that none of this was being forced upon him this time he still couldnt shake the feeling of panic and dread that was filling him. he pulled back a little bit trying hard not to push tony away too quickly. “i um, i think ill take you up on looking at the stars closer now.”
Tony blinked a few times rapidly, but sat up at Bruce's urging. He found it weird that now all of a sudden Bruce wanted to look, but hey, it was what they came out here for. "Oh, okay. Um..." he looked over at the telescope, crawling over to it on his hands and knees. "Let's see if I can do this without breaking it..." he chuckled, twisting the knobs of the tripod legs to extend them. He stuck out his tongue in concentration.

Bruce sat up, pulling his knees closer to his chest and wrapping his arms around him. it was his default position, when he felt… scared, or intimidated, or well, violated. He settled his head down on his knees. “they’re beautiful.” he muttered looking up at the lights twinkling in the sky.
It didn't take too long for Tony to notice Bruce was visibly upset. "Hey... are you okay...?" he asked, coming over to him, carefully rubbing his palm up and down his boyfriend's back.

“i’m, okay.” he replied scratching at the back of his neck awkwardly, “just looking at the stars and everything.” he said nervously trying to figure out a way to avoid his boyfriends uncanny way of reading his face, and his emotions. he was freaking out and he didnt want to be. How was he meant to be in a relationship when his boyfriend seemed to be so… touching heavy and he was, well… him.
Tony's lips pursed and he positioned himself in front of the other boy's view of the stars. "/Bruce/," he said sternly (well, as sternly as he could because he really really sucked at conveying any kind of seriousness most of the time but he was trying because he cared about his boyfriend and wanted to know what was wrong). He lifted an eyebrow, waiting for a proper explanation; he could tell something was up... Bruce's mood had flipped like a lightswitch. All eager and excited one moment and now... well, like this.

“its nothing, really… i love you.” he said frowning and pulling his knees closer to his stomach. “i just… i really cant… i dont even know im really sorry.” he said laying his head on his knees not able to look at tony. god he must think he is such a freak. he is acting bi polar right now. Bruce took a breath. he didnt know how to explain… without … explaining….
Now Bruce wasn't even looking at him. Tony started to withdraw, his own insecurities quickly clouding his head. He glanced at the star he'd wished on-- yeah, see? Already, yup, already his wish was crumbling to pieces. Just because he'd dared to make it. The teenager's brow scrunched. You know what? No. ******** that. He wouldn't let it happen, not this time. Bolstered, Tony put his hands to both sides of Bruce's head and gave him a long kiss. "Bruce, I wished to be the one who makes you happy," he said firmly, imploringly, "If you love me, please, please, /please/ let me be the one to do that?"

Bruce frowned, trying to not look at tony but it was kindof difficult because tony was forcing him to look at him. “noo, i do love you. I do really.” he said he frowned not knowing what to say. “Its really not that i dont like kissing you, because i really do…” he said trying o figure out how to tell his teenage boyfriend… who by definition of the word teenage boyfriend; was a teenage boy. and teenage boys at least normal ones who hadnt been abused by their fathers generaly expected sex or something of the like from the people that they were dating. Bruce sighed, “I haven’t done… this whole thing willingly before.” he said frowning. “and i dont want you to be upset because i cant… i cant make myself do that.” he said trying to explain without just literally going, ‘i cant go any farther than kissing you and sometimes that will be too much because my dad raped me when i was a kid.’ mostly because he was pretty sure that was something you didnt tell your boyfriend.
Tony frowned, trying to piece together what Bruce was /trying/ to tell him, because there was definitely something he was saying without actually saying it. "You mean sex?" he took a swing ungracefully, immediately after blurting it he kicked himself mentally. But then something else occured to him-- Bruce's use of the word 'willingly'. Holy s**t. Tony began to splutter apologies. "Bruce, I'm sorry-- I didn't know-- I didn't think-- I..."

Bruce frowned, pulling his knees to his chest as tight as he possibly could. trying to look anywhere but tony, he wished more than anything he could just be a normal teenage boy who was concerned with sex, and pimples, and boyfriends and, grades on tests. But he wasnt normal, he was concerned with… freaking out and hurting his boyfriend if he touched him in a way that made him uncomfortable or, the fact that he probably shouldnt even have a boyfriend at all because he was a flight risk. He frowned, “yes, i… thats what i meant.” he said, “and you couldnt really have known, because i didnt tell you.” he said, and he really didnt want tony to up and leave, he knew sometimes that happened in relationships… and well… he wasnt very experienced about them, so he wasnt quite sure what was going to happen.
Bruce looked so hurt. That was all Tony could think. That and the fact he'd been the one to trigger Bruce's hurt. Tony knew all about that. How one thing could set you off and leave you wanting to die because it hurt so much. And this was big. Bigger than the things he'd been through. He started to reach out to touch Bruce's knee, but thought better of it, quickly retracting it. "I... I'm sorry," he said again. "If I ever... you know, m-make you uncomfortable again... j-just... just tell me to screw off, okay? I-I'll understand," he promised. The last thing he wanted was for Bruce to feel hurt, and if that meant he had to suck it up and keep his distance... well, he would.
