Lazarus laughed at the comment about keeping Raiden tame. “That guys is untamable unless he’s in love and last time I checked, he’s single, so what does that tell you?” Lazarus played up the part of the incapable friend because when it came to Raiden, trying to get him under control was impossible. ‘Although, I do think he is in some sort of stage of love with that Hansuke guy.’ Lazarus looked at Hansuke and began to wonder if maybe the reason they were over there was because Raiden had made the effort to strike up a conversation. If that was the case, then this very well could be a sign that Raiden had found himself a love interest, but that would have to be something that Raiden figured out. Lazarus knew more than anyone else that Raiden shared all his personal details with him like it was okay. Sometimes, Lazarus would find himself getting sick over some of the things Raiden said because it was just too much detail. “Well, yeah, so you noticed them talking too? I hope they get to know each other. I’m sure Hansuke will realize that Raiden’s not such a bad guy… Sooner or later.”
Raiden spoke to Hansuke on the other side of the Pokémon Center to answer his questions, “You really think I could pull it off? Ha, nice try. I’m pretty sure I look fine like this.” Raiden smiled briefly before turning his smile back into a frown, “I’m from the Hoenn region… Sootopolis City. I travelled a lot though and ended up going to different regions, so I guess we have that in common.” Raiden didn’t know what else to say because he really wasn’t the talkative type of person. “Oh so do you, intend to battle Lazarus?” Raiden was kind of jealous, but at the same time he didn’t want to say anything about it.

Selphie watched nervously, realizing that anything happening beyond right now was an over-kill, but then again, it happened to a lot of Pokemon, they thought they were stronger than something and fought beyond the point of productivity and ended up getting themselves knocked out. They tended to learn their lessons though after the battles, but all Pokemon were different.
The sucker-punch connected but it wasn't a very effective move against a dark-type like Deino, and the fact that Razor passed out after connecting didn't do anything to add strength to the move. Deino sneezed after the attack though. "Oh um, did you want to keep battling or is that good enough for now?" Selphie smiled nervously, not sure if Seth was upset or not that his Pokemon had fainted.

"You did a good job my fine little friend you will now rest easy" Seth had whispered some other words to his pokemon that seemed like ritualistic words "I wish to let Pi fight is that is ok with you..." Selphie looked at Deino and smiled, "Do you think you could handle another battle?" Deino nodded happily. "Alright then, we can do that, I'm kind of interested in seeing what your other Pokemon is anyways." Be the sound of it, Pi probably stood for Pikachu, but if that was the case, the Seth would be in for a tough battle against a dragon type like Deino who wasn't fazed too much by electricity.

╚════════════════════╝ “...Why do you even bother you're going to lose...” Seth new that his Pikachu might not stand a chance against Deino but he threw his fast ball anyway and out sent his little sweet Pi "Pi i know you can do this there is only a little bit of health in Deino" he was only saying that to pump Pi up. Pi had some sparks popping from her cheeks from excitement "Pika pi pi!!" Location: Vormund Pokemon:

Selphie exhaled her breath, and then turned to Deino, "Alright Deino, let's try using some egg moves, Earth Power!" Deino lifted a hoof and then slammed it into the ground and after a moment, the ground under Pikachu began to shake and then a block of earth would shoot upwards and strike Pikachu if it didn't dodge the technique. The move was a long range move, since Selphie knew that Deino wouldn't be able to compare to Pikachu in terms of speed, she would have to rely on long range moves, and what was better than a ground type move?

╚════════════════════╝ “...Why do you even bother you're going to lose...” Pi had dodged out of the way using her speed as an advantage by running to the side super fast looking like it was getting ready to use Volt tackle but there was another pressing issue the rock from Earth power was still coming at Seth. Seth quickly picked up his sword and cut the rock in half so it would miss him as Pi was almost to Deino with her Volt Tackle "P-pi you can do it make your trainer proud" Seth landed on one knee since that rock was heavy to push threw Location: Vormund Pokemon:

Selphie nearly screamed as the rock went towards Seth. It was a good thing his sword was sharp enough to cut the rock in half. "Whew, nice thinking." Selphie made the mistake of underestimating the Pikachu's speed. "Alright then, I suppose I'm going to have to get a bit creative this round." As the Pikachu came in with the volt tackle, Selphie shouted a command, "Use Earth power, but this time, use it directly around you so that it serves as a barrier." Deino stomped his hoof on the ground and instead of a stream of rocks and debris coming up directly underneath Pikachu, it came up around Deino in a circle-formation, serving as a barrier of sorts.
If Selphie was correct, then maybe the Pikachu wouldn't be able to control its speed perfectly and run right into the earthen barrier that was Earth power although, she'd have to give the adorable Pokemon more credit than that, this was just an examination of its capabilities. "Sometimes moves that are meant to be offensive can be used as defense, it just takes a little creativity."

Pi lived up to the standards of being a full fledged Pikachu as she jumped into the air doing what looked like a spin ball move and then came down from the sky like a skydiver going in head first mixing what looked like a Headbutt and a Volt Tackle "wow Pi that was awesome!" he seemed a bit ecstatic about what is Pikachu just did listening to what Selphie had said can used her imagination on how to get past this minor road block "That's it Pi you can do it!" it seemed weird how happy Seth was with his new Pikachu

Selphie watched as Deino was struck with the Volt Tackle, causing Deino to stagger backwards. "Hmm, I guess the speed is the star attribute in all Pikachu. Okay, Dark Pulse Deino." Deino shook a little, trying to get the impact of Volt Tackle off of its mind. Once it did, it began to think about menacing thoughts, creating a dark aura around its body that slowly wafted through the air towards Pikachu. The further it went, the larger the cloud of darkness grew, promising terrible omens upon the Pikachu.
Selphie knew that Pikachu was fast and crafty, so to make sure a move hit sometimes you had to go for moves with wide ranges.

"Oh no Pi.." Pi sensed her trainer being worried but took the hit and slid back even further from the Deino and fell over but not passed out. Pi stood back up with a bit of a headache from the Volt Headbutt, Pi looked at Seth and he looked back in agreement "Pi use Reversal!" Pi, after the Dark Pulse was fully dissipated, used her unnatural speed to get close to Deino and start attacking him with a full out attack giving him double the damage since Deino was also a dark type among being weakened from the previous battle and attacks

Selphie watched as Deino was knocked over by the powerful reversal. Deino staggered back to its feet, but Selphie made the wise decision to withdraw Deino before it fainted. "You did great Deino, don't push yourself." Selphie held out Deino's Pokeball and withdrew him before using her next Pokemon, "Go Croagunk!"
Croagunk emerged from its Pokeball and simply stared at Pikachu without blinking. "Croagunk, Pikachu's fast so we need to be cautious." Croagunk didn't respond to the statement, keeping its eyes on Pikachu at all times instead. "Alright, use Vacuum Wave!" Croagunk swung its fist in the air, creating a vacuum that raced towards Pikachu.

Seth new he was bested here seeing as he could tell his Pi could not take anymore so he stepped in the way slashing the Air Vacuum with is sword "Sorry Selphie but i know Pi cant handle this Croagunk so sorry for doing this" Pi looked a tad bit confused but dazed at the same time "haha you did good Pi" Seth brought back the Fast ball and recaptured the Pikachu "That was a good fight thank you it has shown me that i need to trainer harder as a trainer and as a friend..." Seth seemed sincere about this

Selphie adjusted her frames that were beginning to slide off her face. "You really are a magnet for Pokemon attacks, you know that?" This was the second attack that Seth had been hit by, or at least almost hit by. The first one he managed to counter it. "It's too bad you're not a Pokemon." Selphie held out a pokeball and withdrew her Croagunk. "I don't know about the whole, Pi would've been no match thing, he's pretty fast." Selphie folded her arms and made sure that Seth was alright before pressing the matter onwards, "So about Razor, we should probably go to a Pokemon Center. I know Deino could use some remedies as well." Selphie sighed as she thought about Deino. It would be awhile before he evolved but he'd been in a lot of battles already. He was a lot stronger than the first time she had fought with Chad and Nincada...

"Pi may be fast but after that Volt Headbutt thing she had going on i can tell she is not ready to fight a pokemon that powerful we got lucky that she even had Reversal" he laughed at her mentioning that she said he should be a pokemon "And if i were a pokemon what is it that i would be?" he right then remembered something he heard on the news in the Pokemon Center "Oh yeah there was something about the Gym leader of Paysage being sick and she wouldn't be there..."
