 The Next Shinigami ◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆••• Shira perked up slightly when she heard the man, though it took her a few split seconds to realize who he was since she needed her soul perception to see his soul. She smiled slightly at him "You haven't been here too long right?" she asked as she walked over to him. She looked at him for a moment "Wow, your hair grows a lot quicker than mine would." she joked. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

Now that she was closer to him, he had a better view of her and from the look on his face it was something that he enjoyed. "You are looking more beautiful then ever, Shira. Has it really been just a year? Or maybe more?" Atticus asked as he looked her over. Soon he would snap back to his senses and touch his hair, "Well, considering that when I was in Japan, the locals gave me some sort of revitalizing elixir that invigorated my cells and increased production, it would only stand to reason that my hair would grow longer." Atticus told her, "I've had an interesting time away from here. I even visited the place where Takeda-Sensei lived before moving here. The next thing she would do was a bit random but she couldn't help it. She wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug "It has felt more than a year actually. As this happened, Atticus' cheeks would turn a little red but soon return to normal. Looking down at Shira, Atticus chuckled a bit and then smiled, "I missed you as well, Shira." he muttered, wrapping his own arms around her waist, holding her tightly, "But look on the bright side, we both are back and stronger than ever. I just feel like wandering, maybe I will stop somewhere and get some food since I haven't eaten for a while." Not knowing whether she was being serious or just messing around with him, Atticus didn't know the proper way to respond. Eventually sighing, Atticus would finally speak up, "Shira, don't say it like that. It isn't that I want you gone or feel any ill will against you. It is just that I feel you should spend as much time with your family as long as you can. You never know what will happen." Atticus told her as it seemed that he was really looking out for her, trying to get her to spend time with her family and away from him. We got a lot of opporitunities to talk to each other over the last year. It isn't like I am avoiding them altogether... even though father can be a bit of a jerk." she told Atticus before looking at him "I am 18 now though, so in other words I need to start being more independant and such." she said with a faint smile. Atticus said smiling a little. Suddenly, Atticus would feel Shira's hand take his own, "Um..." he was speechless, he didn't know what else to say or to do.
