I sit down and watch Mystra practice, a little sad that my...condition leaves me so scared of physical contact. I sigh before grabbing the red mana stone again and throwing fireballs at the targets.

(I am so sorry everyone for not posting in so long. I promise to try to make sure it doesnt happen again.)

I simply focus on the target I hit before, trying to send the spike of concentrated mana into its chest. If it hit, then I would try to make smaller spikes come out of it, stabbing the target from the inside. And, trying to multitask, I also try to watch Neeche and Mystra as well, intrigued at there seemingly natural bond of cooperation.

Krin:
The Mentor approaches where you and Ore-ore are. "Are you two having any trouble? I'm free to help now if you have any questions or need any advice." He says cordially. Ore-ore looks down nervously and opens her mouth to speak, only letting out a few short, incoherent noises, like she has something to say, but is too embarrassed to voice it.

Mystra:
You find it noticeably more difficult to manipulate the white mana than the green mana; however, with a bit of effort, you are able to isolate your white mana and draw the mana from the stone. After you get the mana, creating the wall of light is an easy task and it lingers in the air without requiring much focus. When you fire more stone projectiles through the wall of light, the light coats the stones, causing them to leave a shining trail behind, but otherwise it doesn't look like it added much of an effect.

Neeché:
You find it very easy to manifest the fireballs, and with a bit of practice, you find yourself creating them very quickly with very little thought, almost as if creating fireballs was an instinctual thing to you. Your accuracy on the other hand isn't too great with them. Projecting the fireballs in a straight line is more difficult than you thought, and you have trouble scoring any direct hits on the targets downrange.

Valden:
The spike flies out at your will and hits the dummy right in the chest. However, once it hits the target, you no longer can sense the spikes presence and your attempts to manipulate it from so far away are fruitless.

He looked at the mentor and slowly shook his head whispering"I just ...I didn't want to leave her alone....i know it probably didn't help...but seeing every one already ahead of you isn't encouraging to a lot of people, especially if you are already frustrated."

I sigh heavily and look over at Mystra.
"Um...Mystra?" I say timidly. "Can you teach me how to throw straight?"

"I don't throw things though... I shoot em through this staff!" I say to Neeche. "Works kinda like a focus item... that's it! Maybe if you had something to channel though, it would work better!"

"Like what?" I ask. "I don't want to lug around a staff like that; it seems too..."
I pause for a moment before whipping out one of my daggers.
"Like this?" I ask.

"Whats wrong with a staff? Staves are awesome! They glow, and shoot light... and glow! They are also nice to walk with!" I reply, looking over the dagger. It was something elementalists used back home, so maybe...

"A staff just seems so cumbersome..." I say. "Plus, it's more obvious than a dagger, so people could swipe it while I'm transformed. With a dagger, it can be hidden easily so that I can grab it when I turn back into a human."

I twirl my staff around. "Oh well! I think my friend used daggers for close range fire stuff." I say, stabbing the bladed end into the ground dramatically.

"Okay," I say, turning back to the firing range.
I then proceed to try using my dagger as a focus item when shooting fireballs.

"Huh." I mutter, looking at the target. Interesting that I couldn't manipulate the mana at this range, but it had stayed formed and solid. As another idea, I try to draw more mana and form it into two separate spikes, sending one into the target after the first while making the second rise above his hand, seeing how far I could lift it and still manipulate it.

Krin:
"Well... I have been having a hard time... but... you don't have to wait for me... go on ahead..." Ore-ore finally says to you.

Neeché:
Trying to use the dagger as a focus seems very unnatural to you and takes some time before you are able to get it to channel your red mana. Once you are able to do so, the blade becomes covered in flames, though they do not seem to be doing harm to the dagger. Despite being harder for the sake of channeling, the dagger makes aiming much easier, as you are able to project the fireball in a straight line from the tip of the blade, striking a target right in the center.

Valden:
Creating and maintaining two spikes of darkness at the same time poses no problem to you, and does not hinder you when you try throwing the fist spike at the target. When you try raising the second spike above your hand, you are able to lift it about 5 meters away from you without much difficulty, but that seems to currently be the max range of your manipulative abilities.

He looked over at ore ore, wondering how she heard him but wasn't sure what to do, he sighed and slowly walked over to the others, he hated the idea of leaving her alone but, he didn't want to be a bother to her either.

I look at the flaming blade carefully.
"Well, it has its ups and downs, I suppose," I say. "Thanks for the focus idea, Mystra!"
