Before the class had ended, Miyuki began to assemble her belongings into her cyan messenger bag. The young girl scribbled down her homework assignment onto the corner of a page in her notebook before packing that into the bag as well. The class had to complete a worksheet in which the students would identify the names of geographical places in Rice Country and correspond those with the blank image of Rice Country. With preparations complete, the girl would be equipped to leave immediately upon the bell signifying the end of class. Of course, she would not be reckless. The girl intended to wait until she had the instructor’s approval as well. Miyuki listened intently as Kuro continued to speak about this situation from before. He explained his reasoning for thinking the way that he did. If Miyuki did not know any better, she would have guessed that he really just was not present during that event. That was the only way the she could understand his point-of-view. “You grabbed Yoshinaga-sensei very forcefully and left without a word,” Miyuki mumbled trying not to be audible by those around them. “Yoshinaga-sensei was very surprised because he could not do anything. We never knew you were that strong. You might be a problem during physical combat,” the girl laughed it off nonchalantly.“You really do not remember huh?” She questioned smiling brightly. “You are so weird,” the girl declared before returning her attention elsewhere. Miyuki casually looked over to someone who had spoken to her. It was not the first time that she had heard this voice; however, this was the first time that this person had spoken to her rather than just out loud. She immediately recognized his face as Hattori from what used to be Yoshinaga-sensei’s class. The boy asked about her and Kuro’s first impression of Sai-sensei this morning during homeroom. Kuro was the first to reply to Hattori. He gave a quick and concise answer with which Miyuki agreed with mostly. The girl laid a finger on her chin as she thought about how to reply to him. She had long decided that it was much too imprudent to have made any large scale decisions on Sai-sensei as a person based on that one encounter. However, she made a few observations. The young girl supposed that she could share those without it doing any real harm.“Sai-sensei looked physically like a pretty awesome person. Though, he was extremely late. He did not reprimand any of the students who had entered class after him either. He seems very lax and his questions for his first assignment seemed very unprofessional. However, I agree with Kuro in the respect that it is probably too soon to really know.” Quote: Word Count: 456 Geography Word Count: 913/600 Total Word Count: 4810

Hattori realized right away that he might have entered the wrong conversation. Kuro and Miyuki seemed to be speaking under their breaths in a serious tone. He only caught a word or two of their hushed mumblings. From the boy, Fuuma caught the the words ‘kill me’ and ‘was in it deep’. He knew he caught ‘Yoshinaga’, ‘knew you were that strong’, and ‘do not remember’ from Miyuki’s side. Whatever they were speaking about, it about something of a grave nature.
Just as the young Fuuma began to feel uncomfortable, the edge was taken off the conversation. Kuro apologized for ignoring the question for a moment. Hattori nodded quickly as a quick confirmation that he accepted the boy’s apology.

Although he was sort of curious about what they were talking about, it didn’t seem like something he should get himself into. Things around the academy had been weird ever since they began in Yoshinaga’s class. This far in, it wasn’t worth screwing around or getting in trouble. Especially so considering their class’ current status compared to the other classes.

Hattori's question was first answered by Kuro, the boy from the rope-tying exercise. Kuro as it turned out, wasn't sure what to make of Sai Sensei just yet. He figured it was far too early to judge; he really didn't know him yet.
Miyuki's response to the question was a bit more intuitive by comparison. Miyuki explained that she thought that Sai Sensei looked like an awesome person. However, due to his tardiness, lax nature, and the first so-called assignment, Sai Sensei appeared very unprofessional. She agreed with Kuro in the end though, it was still early to judge.

Hattori nodded at their responses, "No matter what, Sai Sensei just HAS to be a humongous improvement to Yoshinaga. Heck, even a cadaver would have been an improvement on that guy. Oh! Miyuki! Now that I think of it- did you realize why Sai Sensei was so late? He was painting his name on the door on the outside of the classro-"

From the front of the class came the loud THUNK of a stack of books being dropped on a desk. The loudness of the sound caused Hattori to stop mid-thought and look to the front.

The geography instructor had arrived, and began to address the class about geography subjects. Immediately, without even taking attendance, the instructor began to ramble on about places of interest and terrain in their home of Rice Field Country.

Hattori pulled his blue geography notebook from his bag, and whispered to his fellow classmates with a slight chuckle, “Hehe… Hold that thought.”

Listening to what Miyuki had to say in response to what he had mentioned, it seemed like he almost made a large mistake while he was unaware of his own actions. 'Did that really happen? My god, things better not go any more south for me or I'm going to get chewed a new one for sure...' he thought as he rubbed the inside of his eyes while letting out a light sigh. This wasn't how he'd imaged things to go during his time in the academy, but knew also not to jinx his own chances at the same time. "I have no recollection what so ever..." he replied just as lightly as she spoke to him, while he also ignored the comment about him being weird. It was at this moment though that he heard her reply to the other male that was now joined in with them, the one he still couldn't remember the name of. He knew it'd come to his mind eventually so he wasn't worried about it. She seemed like she went positive and then contradicted it right after that, ultimately agreeing that it was too early to judge Sai-Sensei just yet.
Just about to get into another conversation none the less, Kuro remembered that they needed to get to math-class soon. Luckily for them that the classes were almost ending for lunch break, it was just this one and one more after it. He motioned his head to show that he was leaving to the next classroom, which was just luckily around the corner anyways, and it would be up to them to join him or not. While moving to the class, he decided to reply to the other males response about Sai-Sensei. "You seem pretty sure about that, are you sure that your statement isn't rushed though? Truly we never got to see who Yoshinaga truly was. Besides overly creepy and holding a special 'interest' with Miyuki which seemed to be kinda lead on by her... No offense Miyuki... we still didn't know everything about him, just like how we probably won't know Sai-Sensei completely ether." With that said Kuro turned about, almost into the door of the math classroom and looked for another seat. Quickly taking his seat, it seemed to have a few more empty seats by it so he decided to stay there. Math class was going to start soon though, so taking about all materials needed, Kuro got ready for whatever equations would come his way.

Kuro walked barely out into the hallway waiting on Miyuki and Hattori. The young girl quickly slung her messenger bag over her shoulder. There was not much in preparation for her because she had preemptively packed everything about five minutes before class had ended. She looked at Kuro who seemed slightly disoriented by what she had told him earlier with what had happened after the rope untying exam. “Your secret is safe with me,” the girl declared assuming that he was worried about the consequences of his actions if someone decided to inform his parents or perhaps, he was even worried about the primary delegates of the academy. Either way, he should not have to worry about it now that so much time had passed. Miyuki positioned herself so she could see Hattori. He seemed almost as excited about Yoshinaga-sensei’s dismissal as herself. The girl was more than a little curious as to why. She tried remembering Hattori from the classes before. “Ahhh,” Miyuki proclaimed out loud, “You had to take several of the after school classes didn’t you?” She questioned tilting her head to the side as she closely examined Hattori waiting for his reply. Kuro quickly came to Yoshinaga-sensei’s defense, as well as boldly calling out Miyuki for her own actions. Though, he was still obviously trying to play the nice guy by adding‘no offense’.“Now,” Miyuki proclaimed waiting on the instructor to enter the room to take care of business, “I can tell you exactly what you want to know. Yoshinaga-sensei was a good-for-nothing, lecherous professor who apparently impaired our education.” The young girl stated all of this in a matter-of-factly tone. Then, she contemplated how to respond to the next portion of Kuro’s statement. The young girl found that she was not in the least bit offended by it. Miyuki grinned slyly having decided on an appropriate response,“I was just using the skills I had to get out of the situation… That’s all.” The young girl was satisfied by this answer because it was a realistic answer. She wasn’t afforded any special skills that would allow her any such ease in class, especially at any point Kuro needed answers to written tests. The girl was only using the skills she had available to her to make the academy a more enjoyable place. At least, that was until Yoshinaga-sensei lost his sanity. She had never anticipated that course of events. The trio of peers found themselves in front of the math classroom. Kuro quickly chose a seat and to keep things comfortable as they had been, Miyuki chose a seat nearby in proximity. The young girl was not looking forward to this class whatsoever. She had pondered the idea of using this time to improve the quality of her drawing ability. She also had a very interesting book in her bag about the basics of becoming a med-nin, as well as a book which had lists of a variety of different herbs and their uses. For the time being, Miyuki set herself down on the seat comfortably and allowed the bag to just slip from her shoulder onto the cold, tile floor. She reached down grabbing the appropriate notebook for this class, as well as a writing utensil and an eraser which would most definitely be necessary for this particular class should she choose to participate full heartedly. The instructor of the class finally took her place at the front of the class. She was definitely a beautiful woman. Even with all of that beauty, she could not hide her serious manner and strict tone of running the class. She called out attendance quickly before jumping straight into the class work rather forcefully. It did not take long for Miyuki to decide that her artwork could really use some practice. The student nodded at Miyuki’s observation about his after-school classes. Hattori said, “You got it! I was late for class on the first day of knot-tying. I had to stay after class to tie even more knots. I tied so many knots that I never want to see another knot again because of it!” Hattori paused, shrugged, then added, “I suppose that if there is a plus-side, I know a knot for almost any occasion.”
Kuro went on to compare their new teacher and their old teacher. Hattori’s jaw dropped in response. He supported the lecher by claiming that, although he was a bad teacher and a pervert, they hardly knew the guy. Kuro backed that up by claiming that Miyuki led on the bad teacher.

Hattori gave Kuro a sardonic look as they walked through the halls. With disbelief he asked, “Are you serious? I mean, I get how we don’t really know anything about Sai-Sensei yet, but really? You couldn’t tell what kind of person Yoshinaga truly was? They guy ritualistically wasted our time with that rope tying assignment. Remember that green haired guy? I’m pretty sure he was tying knots until the man got sacked!”

“Not only that, but Yoshinaga played favorites- big time! He specifically singled out a few of us in that class, including me. I spent a long time thinking about that knot he put on me for the knot tying test. It was so much tighter than it should have been, heck, he even gave it another pull at the end to boot. I thought he was a jerk of a teacher before I knew he was a pervert. And, to add insult to injury, we find out that we are so far behind we might not graduate on time.”

Hattori tried to dodge the thing about Miyuki playing into Yoshinaga’s perversions. He honestly had no clue about what was going on there, and the boy didn’t want to assume things. He knew exactly what happened if you made assumptions.

Miyuki responded to the allegation by claiming that she was simply ‘using the skills’ she had to get out of the situation. The girl said it in such a casual way that made Hattori’s face flush. Once they were in the room, the trio took their seats.

The instructor came into the room shortly after. The instructor was a female ninja. She was very beautiful, but immediately she showed herself to be very strict. She sped through attendance and got down to business.

The teacher began putting long equations and mathematical proofs on the board, and Hattori slid back in his seat, eyes on the board that was filling up with numbers and letters. For some, it might have been a lot to keep track of, but for Hattori, this was pretty straight forward. He knew math pretty well. Unlike History or Geography, a notebook was unnecessary for this class. Hattori did better just paying attention in math class, and doing the homework at another time.

It seemed that he was now under-fire for just trying to be neutral in the situation involving their old instructor. It was true what everyone was saying when it came to Yoshinaga, but the point that he was trying to show was that people differ from their occupation and every day life, even if they did mess up their occupation royally with the actions that they did. He figured that he'd give up on the whole situation all together as there was no more point in trying to be in the neutral position that he was trying to hold. Ether way, class was starting now and he needed to focus as it seemed like this professor's words were like a tornado's winds. Kuro at this moment was just attempting to keep up with the notes that the deceivingly lovely female teacher was giving the entire class.
In a flash, the bell rang and signaled the end of the class. With that said, she gave out a huge amount of homework in which Kuro scribbled at the end of his notes and then packed up for the last class before lunch. Once ready, he moved over to the other two in his group and looked at Miyuki, then Hattori. He wasn't going to make anymore comments about Yoshinaga anymore, he knew that he'd more then likely get another ear-full from both so he thought for a moment on trying to come up with something else for conversation's sake. "So... seeing as we are behind in class, how do you think Sai-Sensei is going to get us back up to speed?" He was curious on what they thought, let alone it was a question he wanted to answer at the same time. Being a month and a bit behind was a lot of information to jam into those just starting the academy.

The teacher ended the class by giving out a surplus of Math homework. One by one, the assignment began to pile up. Hattori realized at about twenty-five percent of the list that he needed to write this down! The Fuuma jumped for his bag shuffled through it, and grabbed his black single subject Math notebook. Hastily he began to write out the assignment.
As he wrote, he mumbled, "Page fifty three, questions one through eleven odds, then problems twenty four through thirty, evens. Also, forty five, forty eight, forty nine, and fifty one. And then... Seventy one. Alright, that's a lot..." Hattori shut his notebook and packed up for his next class, "Next class in penmenship or writing or something, I think...?"

Miyuki questioned how she was going to be able to handle this class if she decided not to pay attention to the instructor, as well as her notes. The young girl casually looked around the classroom looking for something specifically. It seemed that everyone was expressing a similar sentiment to herself regarding the class work. The girl mumbled slightly when noticing that Hattori was scribbling furiously into a notebook.“Hey!” Miyuki bent over her desk approaching Hattori, “Do you mind if I borrow your notes? Math really is not my thing. I promise I will return them in a timely manner!” The young girl had a pleading look on her face. She admitted that if he decided not to lend them to her and if she failed to pass, the fault would rest on her own shoulders. The girl awaited his answer anxiously hoping that he wouldn’t let her down. A few minutes later, the bell that released them from this class rang loudly. Miyuki was startled not having realized how much time had passed by. It seemed that choosing to create a sketch of this classroom with the female instructor as the focal point of the image. Of course, Miyuki decided to make her look more maternal, womanly looking to appeal to others. She grinned and made a slight nod showing her satisfaction with that particular piece of work. She gently placed the image between the pages of a book. Once closed, she positioned the book into a semi-hidden pocket inside of her messenger bag. She cleared the notebook and other items from the desk placing them inside of her bag as well. Miyuki quickly stood up making her way towards the exit alongside her peers Kuro and Hattori. Kuro had addressed the two of them asking about how they thought Sai-sensei would manage to catch them up to the other classes. She looked towards Kuro with a very serious face upset with the answer that she had come up with herself,“I do not think we will catch up. He never said that we would catch up. He only stated that we would merely be working harder. I think in the end that we were only meant to catch up to the others as much as possible given the circumstances.” For the time being, this was not anything that the class should be worrying about. Surely, the young girl hoped that nobody would feel guilty or upset about this either. Yoshinaga-sensei had crippled the class for his own selfish purposes of keeping Miyuki close. The girl felt almost sick thinking about it in that particular manner. There was nothing that any of them could have done given the circumstances. It was not any of their faults because none of them had been aware of this atrocity beforehand. She did wonder how long the faculty knew about what was going on however. They must have had a suspicion seeing as they had obviously done an internal investigation into the matter. Miyuki followed slightly behind Kuro and Hattori. The young girl walked around in a daze completely unaware of her surroundings. She accidentally bumped into another student while walking to the next class which she believed was supposed to be Literature and Penmanship.“I am so sorry,” Miyuki spouted while bowing towards the other student who was an average sized male whose face was foreign to the girl. The girl wished that she could have spent more time speaking to him; however, the bell was due to ring any moment. After a few pleasantries, the girl lightly jogged to catch back up to the others. “Sorry about that,” Miyuki smiled brightly realizing that they had found the next class. The young girl popped into the classroom quickly choosing a seat. She always had an affinity for these types of classes. She had no doubt in her mind that this would be a nice respite from the dreadful amount of work that she would be having in the mornings. After this, they could go to lunch! The girl was so excited to finally be released from school today. While it was a nice change of pace from the way Yoshinaga-sensei did things, it was still an exhausting way to spend the day. The instructor wasted no time once the bell had rung. He asked for Miyuki to pass out leaflets which would help in their instruction while he began to call attendance. The young girl stood up obediently doing as she was asked. She wasted no time in handing them out until she reached Hattori. The young girl would pretend to hand him the sheet and once he tried to receive the sheet, she would pull it away from him. She smirked before sticking her tongue out at him playfully. The instructor noticed her behavior and with a smile scolded her lightly. The girl gave Hattori the leaflet before returning to her seat. She looked over towards Kuro inquisitively, “Do you mind if I sketch you?” The girl enjoyed drawing things or people that were aesthetically pleasing. The boy had a very feminine face and could probably pass for a girl if he had tried. She could not pass up this opportunity. Hattori gritted his teeth when the Saitoh girl asked for his notes. The boy wrote his notes the same exact way he did every other day of the week; he didn’t. The student pulled his book bag from the ground with a light groan, and then he sighed. Hattori responded to her responded sheepishly, “Well… you see, Miyuki… I didn’t exactly write any. When it comes to Math, I usually just do the homework from the book. Instead of notes, I just pay close attention in class. But, if you want, I can do a few of the problems from class so you can have at least a little bit of notes.”
As they exited the class, Kuro popped a question. He asked, “How do you think Sai-Sensei is going to get us back up to speed?" Miyuki was the first to respond. The girl voiced that she thought that she didn’t think that their class would catch up. She added that Sai Sensei only said that the class would work extra hard to catch up to the best of their ability.

Hattori shook his head disapprovingly, “No way, I’m sure Sai-Sensei will get us to the same level as the rest of the class. Maybe he’ll catch us up by giving us a cool and actually relevant jutsu to use. Think about it, if we could all shoot a fireball or something, we’d probably outclass everyone else. “
The young Fuuma walked through the hallways of the Academy behind Kuro and Miyuki. The halls were pretty packed in between classes. Although Hattori got to class relatively bump-free, Miyuki managed to walk right into someone on the way there. She quickly said sorry to the bumpee, then the two boys for slowing their transit to Penmanship and Literature class. Miyuki was the first to take a seat in the class, so Hattori took a seat near her and Kuro.

Hattori took his seat, and pulled out his notebook for the class. He was definitely going to need it for this class. The Fuuma boy liked classes like History and Math, but Literature surely wasn’t his strong suit.
The instructor began the class as soon as the bell rung. He called upon Miyuki to pass out the leaflets needed for the class. When the young girl got to Hattori, the Fuuma boy extended his hand to grab the packet of papers, but it was ripped from his fingers just as he touched it. Hattori looked up from his notebook in surprise, she was sticking her tongue out at him.

Hattori gave a short laugh, then reached forward, swinging his arm at the paper to try to grab it. Just before the boy could grab it on his own, their Penmanship and Literature sensei swiftly scolded the girl’s behavior. Miyuki passed the page to Hattori, and class promptly began.

As the instructor introduced the core concepts of the day’s lesson, Hattori jotted down notes as quick as he could manage. While most students were just listening, Hattori already had a page detailing all sorts of little facts and concepts that he would surely forget otherwise.

Hattori flipped the page when the teacher began to write on the board. He would need that much room for this. Then a student asked a question, but not about something that Hattori particularly cared about or was confused about.

In the meantime, he began to read over the packet that was handed to him. His eyes darted from word to word, trying to make sense of the literature before him. When the Q and A time was over, Hattori returned to writing his excessively detailed notes.

“Damn,” he mumbled, hand already cramped, “I really hate this class…”

Well, it seemed that the two classmates of his were in difference of opinion when it came to his own question. Miyuki was more pessimistic while Hattori was more optimistic on Sai-Sensei's outcome of them catching up in the class. He himself wasn't sure on how things were going as he didn't know how much knowledge was between their class and the other classes. Ether way, he knew that there was going to be some mad work to be done to even attempt to catch up to the other classes anyways . Ether way though, it was time for their last class before they went for lunch. Kuro was definately looking forwards to lunch as he was starting to get a bit on the peckish side himself. He did manage to hear the young pink haired female ask about notes for their math class, and Hattori ended up not having actually made any notes. Kuro just sighed and dug into his backpack and pulled out some sheets of paper in which he handed to Miyuki as he stated "Here... Use these, but I will need them later today so I can do my work alright?". With that, he put his backpack back onto his shoulder and they headed out. As they moved to the next classroom, it seemed that the female of the group wasn't paying full attention to where she was going as she un-purposely bumped into another male student in which no-one knew. She swiftly appoligized though and even started a minor conversation before re-joining the group to enter their next classroom which happened to be the location of their penmanship and literature class.
No-one seemed to be very interested in the class, and in all honesty he couldn't blame them. It was a class that was solely dedicated to the learning of how to write, and the understanding of written work already made. This didn't sound interesting what so ever to him but he knew that he needed to work on it anyways so he'd put as much attention as he could into it before he fell asleep in it. Looking around in the classroom, it seemed that he wasn't the one to firstly choose the seats this time which didn't bother him. There was a free seat near his two homeroom classmates, so to keep things like normal he took that seat. Once down in the chair, Kuro placed his pack onto the ground near his feet and looked around. The class was more empty then the other ones that they had attended, which made sense since it was an easily skipped class that was right before lunch. The instructor soon entered though and took attendance, right after though asked Miyuki to hand out some pan-flits to the class. He watched as she did, and she ended up having some fun ether way as she was bugging Hattori with not letting him grab the paper. The instructor though ended up scolded her about it, in which made her finish handing out the papers. Once she sat back down, he was about to get started on his notes when Miyuki asked a question that was way out of left field. A look of confusion came over his face as he wasn't sure how to answer the question. Looking over to Miyuki, he pondered and then sighed lightly. "Um... I guess so......" There was a heavy note of uncertianty in his voice as his eyebrows furrowed and he went to look back at his notes. Soon enough though, the class was finished and everyone in it hand a serious case of writers cramp in their wrists which didn't exclude his own wrists.

The students would now be released to attend lunch in the cafeteria. She was also thankful to Kuro for letting the young girl borrow his notes. During Penmanship and Literature class, the girl took the time to make herself a written copy of his notes. With the exception of math class, this semester was going to be a breeze. Though, it would also be extremely boring! Miyuki collected her things promptly, as well as returned the original copy of Kuro’s notes to its rightful owner.“Shall we head to lunch?” The girl questioned while slinging her messenger bag across her shoulder. The three students exited the classroom continuing onto the lunchroom when Miyuki started to grab at her shoulder. The weight of her bag and the contents inside of it were starting to become painful. “Sorry, guys!” Miyuki piped while abruptly stopping in the middle of the hallway.“I need to put some of my things up first,” Miyuki stated as she began to head towards her personal storage area, “I will definitely meet up with you guys!” The girl began to head down a separate hallway which lead away from her new comrades. She meandered down the hallway barely aware of any obstacles obstructing the girl’s path. It seemed that the classes had taken a toll on her body psychologically. She was exhausted; however, she had not physically done anything of consequence today. Once Miyuki reached her locker, she fumbled with the lock for several minutes whilst grumbling under her breath obscenities of frustration. The storage unit’s door opened with relative ease after a few tries at the combination. The girl threw her bag into an open area and shut the door rather forcefully. Afterwards, Miyuki walked to a nearby vending machine putting in a few coins. She pushed some buttons on the machine and a packaged bar was dispensed to the young girl. With a pleased look, she continued on to the cafeteria line. She grabbed a tray while walking down the line. The girl accepted any food that was handed towards her by the staff behind the counter. At the end of the train, the girl stopped to look around the room. She did a quick spin around the entire vicinity. The girl noticed several teachers in the room but shrugged it off. They had to eat as well didn’t they? It did not take the girl long to find what she had been looking for or rather, who. “I told you,” Miyuki smiled brightly approaching Kuro and Hattori.“I am back! Did anything interesting happen while I was gone?” The girl asked curiously while beginning to munch on the food in front of her. Quote: Word Count: 472 Total Word Count: 6788

Hizen’s next class had almost already started by the time he arrived, having taken a detour to the bathroom on his way. Hizen entered the classroom, taking a seat near the center of the room. Hizen pulled a couple of pencils and a notebook from the depths of his bag. Finding the book buried inside the desk, Hizen prepared his desk area for the upcoming lecture, notes, and example math problems. ”I understand the need to learn mathematics, but I really hope these example problems aren’t too complicated. Alternatively, I really hope that these problems aren’t too unrelated to being a shinobi. I hope, at least, that whoever put the course plan and material together would understand that the other students my age are very much enchanted by the idea of becoming a shinobi and don’t want to learn ‘useless’ things like Math and Penmanship. But, I guess they know what they are doing.” Just as he finished his thought, the professor walked into the classroom, interrupting Hizen’s contemplation and started the class period’s lesson, speaking in a very nasaly, monotone voice.”Okay class, please open your books to chapter 3 section 5. As you will remember, we covered this material during lecture last class, your homework was to complete the odd problems. Today’s assignment is to complete the even problems two through forty. If you have any questions, I’ll be at my desk, but you shouldn’t need me if you studied the material. Now, please, no talking and get to work.” Hizen turned to the page the instructor indicated as she asked the class to do so. However, as the woman finished speaking, Hizen’s jaw dropped. ”I can’t believe this. Not only is she treating her students like dirt, but now I’m expected to just jump into the current material without learning the previous stuff first?! How is that fair?! Even if I could do these problems, which, from the look of them, that seems unlikely, I resent being treated like I’m not worth her notice. She clearly doesn’t want to be here, and, while I’ve only been in this class for less than fifteen minutes, I already hate it.” Hizen copied down the first problem the instructor had assigned into his notebook. Turning to the chapter, Hizen attempted to follow the examples and concepts that were presented in the chapter and apply them to the problem at hand. However, Hizen just couldn’t seem to ‘get’ the concept and figure out how to proceed with the problem.”Dammit. I really need to have learned the previous lessons to understand what’s going on here, what I need to do. I know I can’t do this without some help, but the professor clearly doesn’t want to help anyone with this.” He glanced up, to find the instructor glaring around the room. Knowing that he’d need to work through the other sections in this chapter, if not previous chapters, Hizen began copying the problems they had been assigned before flipping the pages backwards to the beginning of the chapter. Seeing nothing he recognized, Hizen decided that he needed to go further back. ”At least it’s just chapter 3 that I’ve got to work backwards from. I really wouldn’t want to go back to the beginning and work through a whole bunch of chapters before getting to the current assignment. Hopefully someone in the class will be able to help me. I can’t imagine this stuck up professor helping me with the work, despite me being behind.” Pressing his fingers to his temples as he felt a headache coming on, Hizen packed up his notebooks as the bell rang signaling the end of the period. Hattori was relieved that he didn't have to crank out a bunch of example math problems just to make notes for his friend, Miyuki. Not that he wouldn't have done it, but it wasn't exactly the sort of extra work he wanted to do. Thanks to Kuro, she was able to make her of the copy in Penmenship and Literature. At the end of class, the bell rang very loudly, so loud that it made Hattori wince.Quote: PC Formula: 50 + [(110)*2-400]/10 = 32% Failed
The girl of their trio pointed out that it was lunch time, to which the young Fuuma responded cheerily, "Sure thing. I've been waiting for lunch all day." On the way to the cafeteria, Miyuki split from the group half way there to go to her locker to drop off some books or whatnot.

Meanwhile, Hattori walked with Kuro down to the cafeteria. When they entered, Hattori glanced around. He immediately took notice of the lines of teachers around the room. They weren’t really fraternizing or eating lunch. It was almost like they were guarding something. Hattori scratched his head on the matter for a moment, then commented to his Yamanaka pal, “Oh, I get it, they’re supervising us. I suppose our class is probably getting to a point where every day shenanigans could actually get dangerous, right?”

Hattori took a seat and stuck his hand into his backpack. He dug around it blindly like he usually did until his hand took hold of a box wrapped in a green handkerchief with yellow karakusa swirls. The boy removed the furoshiki cloth from his bento, and opened the little box. Today, he packed some sticky white rice, a little pile of hot and spicy kim chee, two halves of a hardboiled egg, and a slice of pork. With that, he also had brought a can of his usual Oto-cola (his favorite drink).

“Itadakimasu,” Hattori said, as he did before every meal. The boy snapped apart his throwaway bamboo chopsticks, then proceeded to dig in!

His wrist had cramped up and he was glad that there was a break involved between now and next class that was longer then just five minutes. Quickly packing his gear into his backpack, He looked over to Miyuki who had asked to draw him. He wasn't sure on what she drew, but he wanted to see just to make sure that he knew exactly what he reluctantly put himself through. Once packed, he noticed that Miyuki was handing his notes back to him. He took then and quickly asked before he forgot."Hey... mind if I take a look at your drawing?" He'd probably have to wait to see what the drawing looked like if she would show him at all. It seemed though that he would definitely have to wait as she quickly left them to drop off some of her stuff as it appeared to be a burden to her. He nodded as he continued towards the cafeteria with Hattori. Luckily there wasn't much distance between all their classes and the cafeteria, but from there on out he had no clue. As they entered the lunch room, Kuro started to look around and noticed a few faces that he remembered from their home room class. But there was another face that he caught a glimps of, and that was Sai-Sensei's. He mentally shrugged it off and continued to go up to those serving up the food, but he could see other teachers near the entrance's as well. Kuro thought for a moment while waiting in line, and knew that this wasn't normal but just kept it to himself for now. He kind of had to as Miyuki came up and asked if anything new happened while she was gone. He just shook his head and wondered about the drawing of her's plus what exactly what going on with all the instructors in the room now. 335 words post
