It seemed there was just one incredilbly scary creature after another... and Danny was unsure how she should respond. As he sighed, Danny sighed as well. After a moment, she looked up at Alexander silently. Danny wasn't sure what to say but eventually something came out. "But.. you saved me," she said, smiling a little. She became a little quieter. "You'll protect me, right? If I stay?" ━━━━━━━━ × ━ × ━ × ━━━━━━━━ Who am I with ? -- Alexander

  ╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander sat up straight and looked at her, somewhat surprised at her question. "Well of course. I promise." He said quietly as the other piskies finally all emerged and began to go about their business in the little warm area. "With my life." He added, looking back to the ground where a group of male piskies meant to look like grasshoppers bounced by. He'd told her that before, the first time they'd had a run-in with one of the darker members of his family. You broke that promise. He thought and that image of her, her dress slowly staining with her own blood, flashed through his mind. A pained expression crossed his features. You didn't know Titiana would go after her then, there was no indication. Now you're prepared, make good on your promise.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

The same thing that had stirred in her that first night she had started to have headaches stirred in her now. She had no idea what it was, but it was there, she could feel it. She didn't know what it was trying to tell her, or get her to do. It was just there, and it stayed there like a knot in her stomach. "Thank you," she said then, a little calmer now that she knew that she had someone to count on.
For a moment, she sat next to Alexander, just gazing at him. After another moment, she leaned in gently and pecked Alexander on the cheek like she had that one night. It was safe to say that things were alright between the two of them again. The feeling in her stomach settled, and her eyes hovered over his figure to see what he would do.━━━━━━━━ × ━ × ━ × ━━━━━━━━ Who am I with ? -- Alexander

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander sighed lightly. "You're quite welcome." He said, mustering up a smile as he pushed those bad memories back behind a wall. They sat there quietly for a moment before he figured he should probably say something. He looked up and took a breath to speak, but was positively stunned when he felt her lips on his cheek. It was fleeting, the kiss. Her lips only touched his skin for a moment, but it brought up a strange surge of emotions that led him to embrace her. He held her tightly, though not enough to hurt her as by now he knew his strength. In that instant he wanted to tell her everything; who she'd been, what had happened, and exactly how much she meant to him. He wanted to tell her that he loved her, that he'd been waiting for her lifelessly for so, so very long and that he planned to never let her go and never let her down as he had that night. He wanted to apologize for not being there before the queen, for not saving her from that pain and fear. He released her after a moment, his normally somewhat pale visage seeming to glow. "My apologies Danny." he said, his voice subdued. "That was...unexpected." ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

As she was taken into his arms, she jumped for a second, but relaxed after a moment. She smiled into his chest, it was so warm and being like that had this safe feeling, a calming effect on her. When he pulled back she said, "It's... it's okay." After a moment a small buzzing came from her purse, and Danny felt it and reached for her bag. She realized it was her phone, and she looked up at Alexander for a second before saying, "Sorry... it might be my mom." She grabbed her phone and brought it out of her bag and read the screen.

Danny was unsure what to do, and she glanced over at Alexander. He always seemed so off when she spoke of Louis, so she didn't announce who it was. She quickly texted back before Alexander became curious.

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗As Danny brought her phone out, it attracted quite a bit of attention from the piskies, many of which flew over to crowd around it or land on its screen. Alexander chuckled some, not really minding Danny's checking her phone. "Don't let them take it or they'll take it apart." He said calmly. "They're always eager to check out anything new once the snow starts melting and spring's on it's way."╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

She laughed out loud at the sight, but held onto her phone just in case. She nodded at Alexander and sent her reply to Louis quickly. As the little creatures examined her phone, it buzzed again with Louis's reply.

Danny frowned at that and quickly typed a response.

Alexander smiled as some of them still remained close to the device, then he noticed Danny frowned and did so as well. "Is something wrong?" "Everything alright?" He asked, making an effort to keep his voice light as he heard her phone snap shut, his hair hiding his glinting eyes.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

He said somewhat grudgingly.
