"Heh heh, you talk funny" after a moment of giggling she answered Karindas question "Names Noci (Knock-ee) what's yours miss?"

Karinda glanced toward Plushy as a man approached him, but her attention quickly returned to the girl as she spoke, her words followed by a bout of giggles.
You must watch your speech! Saiirin said with a glance to Karinda. And do not give her your name.
"I am Kirin," Karinda answered the girl, choosing her words carefully. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance."
Keeping one eye on the girl, Karinda pressed the fountain's button once more, bent forward, and drank from the crystal clear water that flowed from the spout.
I fear I shall never grow used to the taste of their water, Karinda commented to Saiirin, pulling away from the fountain and wiping her mouth with the sleeve of her borrowed hoodie.

Plushy
Plushy picked up Karinda's sword from the ground beside him, the man that approached him looked ready to duel.
"I am Kirin, It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Plushy happy to hear her lie, moved his tail back behind him with her sword, ready to block any attack from the new man that approached him.
Plushy watched Saiirin, wondered why she not drinking to keep her rider safe. "Excuse me!" said the messy black hair man, Plushy glanced at his sword, to see if it moved any, then back to Saiirin, still by Karinda's feet.((hi new person, rush and crush smile welcome to the RP.))

Akuma noticed the dragons tail move
"You can put down the sword I'm only here to talk,Im akuma" Said Akuma as he approached the red dragon while pulling both his swords out.

Plushy
The akuma now had 2 swords, must be he had lied, talky people put their swords away, not bring them out. Plushy left his tail ready, and answered akuma "You can talk to Plushy from there, no need to come any closer." Plushy keept one eye on Saiirin, and the other on the akuma, who had 2 swords.

Akuma stops and looks at Plushy "I told you im not here to fight." Said Akuma as he drops both of his swords on the floor.
"I'v met alot of dragons on the road but never your size."
Akuma noticed the girl next to the fountain and the dragon with her "most were the same size as that shrimp over there"
"Anyway i wanted to ask which side are you on Plushy."

"Oh, Heeey! You'r the women who owns the book shop in town right? That place is soooo pretty!" Noci responds almost instantly, eyes beaming at Karinda, not even noticing the new person speaking to Plushy. "I've always wanted to be surrounded by that many books".

Karinda blinked at the girl's question, her eyebrows furrowing.
"Nay." Karinda shook her head.
They use "no" in this era, Saiirin corrected the girl, her tail flicking behind her.
"No," Karinda continued, "but if you so desire to be surrounded by hundreds of books, the library is a wondrous place for that."
Karinda! Saiirin snapped her jaws at Karinda, gaining the girl's attention. Do not invite her there! We know not who she is, or which side she serves. You heard heard what our old friend had to say about the war.
Karinda sighed. Do you thirst? she asked, moving to stand with her back against the wall next to the fountain and just beside the girl, her hand on the button.
With a growl and a mighty flap of her wings, the small dragon alighted atop the fountain and shrunk enough to sit comfortably on it as Karinda pressed the button and water again cascaded from the nozzle.
Saiirin's back hunched, her silvery eyes eyeing the liquid before she tilted her head to the side and placed her mouth in the path of the stream.

"Well," Jarod responded, "sometimes people offer you things, but it's really not okay. They only make themselves share because they want to seem nice, or they want something from you too."
Loki felt Jarod take her hand, and as they followed Roger through the library, she looked down to him. He smiled up at her, and she couldn't help but return the smile. At last they had found the Defenders, or at least a link to them. Her son could now become acquainted with and be surrounded by safer people and creatures.
Jarod continued to look ahead, his attention continuously shifting from Rodger to the library. He was fascinated by both, though more and more of his attention was going to Rodger. Once they arrived at the front desk he took the offered banana carefully from Rodger, thanked him, then released his mother's hand and began to peel the fruit slowly, studying the inside with each pull of its skin. Although his eyes were focused on the food in front of him, he heard the books nearly fall to the ground and almost winced at the sound.
Loki remained by her son's side. "We're here for two reasons, really," Loki began. "I met up an old acquaintance from some time ago whom I owed a favor to. She disappeared earlier today, but she never does that without good reason. I'm sure we'll encounter her again sooner or later." Loki paused and looked at Jarod, then back at Rodger. "I also recently decided that I would like to try and join the Defenders again." She watched Rodger, not sure of what kind of reaction to expect from him. For all she knew he could have no idea what really went on in the library, or who the Defenders were. For all she knew, the Defender vs. Destroyer conflict could have been resolved by now without her knowing it.((I suppose this post means Loki and Jarod are Defenders. biggrin I don't remember why I started them out as neutrals. o.o))

"I promise its ripe enough," Rodger said with a small smile, glancing to Jarod as the boy slowly peeled the fruit.
The man's attention returned to Loki as she spoke, his head tilting to the side as she mentioned joining the Defenders. He raised a finger to his lips, making a "shh" sound before straightening and looking around the large entrance lobby.
"Though we try to keep out any who are obviously Destroyers," he said quietly, his gaze falling back upon Loki, "it's almost impossible to tell who belongs to which side just by looks, so keep your voice down." He glanced to the doors again before shifting his eyes to the ends of the many bookcases resting three yards away on either side of the desk. "We're Defenders, Vanessa and me. Now," he looked back to Loki, "you said you want to join 'again.' Why did you leave in the first place?" He stood with his back straight, his soft blue eyes gazing kindly into Loki's as he waited for her answer.

"Hmm" Noci tilted her head to the side, her forefinger on her chin "How do I get to it...Hmm............Aha!" Her head snaps upright and she raises her finger in an 'Idea bulb' way, "You can take me, right? I mean it sounds like you've seen it before, oh pretty please!" she holds her hands in a begging position, hey eyes big and precious like that of an even younger child.

Plushy happy to see Saiirin drink, "You can take me, right? I mean it sounds like you've seen it before, oh pretty please!" Plushy was to take Karinda back to the library, she been to it, but she would not know the way from here.
Plushy answered the Akuma "Plushy has no idea what you is talking about."
Plushy said to the Noci "She has only been there, Kirin dose not know the way." Plushy made sure to use the false name Karinda gave, and to NOT say that he did know the way.
Plushy said to Saiirin, "Roar."((Plushy will take you back to the library, you will ride on Plushy's back, we will try to lost the Noci who tells lies.))((Only Saiirin can understand that "roar", because she is a dragon, and can also speak it.))

Karinda shifted her weight uneasily from one foot to the other as Noci clasped her hands together and begged to be brought to the library, her strange eyes growing large.
Saiirin looked to the girl as Karinda released the water fountain's button, the dragon's eyes narrowing.
Is this such a time where the children know not where their own library lies? the dragon inquired with a glance to Karinda.
"Alas--"
"She has only been there. Kirin does not know the way," Plushy shouted, interrupting Karinda's response, the girl's attention snapping toward the red dragon.
"Aye," Karinda said with a nod, turning her attention back to Noci as a series of snarls and grunts came from Plushy, the sounds meshing into a single mess as Saiirin's snarling form turned toward him. "Though I suspect your parents could show you the way."
Karinda, Saiirin thought to the girl, her voice bitter as she snapped her fangs together, The dragon has offered us a ride upon his back so we may return to the library. He also titled Noci a 'liar.'
Thank you, Saiirin, Karinda replied, looking to Plushy and the man standing near him.
"'Twould be time for our departure, young one," Karinda said, turning her eyes to the girl and taking a step toward Plushy. "'Twas a pleasure speaking to you, Noci. Fare thee well." She offered the young girl a bow and strode over to Plushy.
((O.O Twenty-four words summed up in one. Impressive! xd ))

Plushy wraped his tail around Karinda, and as her sword was in his tail he returned her it to her. Plushy helped Karinda mount him, he lifted her off the ground and placed her on his back with his tail.((im not wanting to make this post too long, as plushy is doing stuff to your character...that why it shortish.))

"Excuse me miss my name is Akuma,I hope you dont mind me asking, but whats so special about this library of yours" Asked Akuma while picking his swords from the ground.
"Im no child, i can tell That this dragon is hiding something important" said Akuma while sheathing his swords.
