This Yami Inu pup learned to use his claws and build a back bone in himself as he training with Inuyasha. He couldn’t stop using his magic, but instead found ways to use it to aid his attacks rather then always trip up his foe while he ran. An once point he took a few of Inuyasha’s blows and prooved to have enough pain endurence to get back up and continue fighting. He began to develop an attack that allowed him to mix his youki with nature elements in a slashing claw movement. He decided to call it ‘Nature’s claw’. During the last leg of this adventure he trained every time they stopped for camp and used his own feet to keep up with the others rather then ride on someone. He had to grow stronger and is ever greatful to Inuyasha for the teaching he had done. He hadn’t known his father, but when he met the Shade, he got a very good taste of what his father is like. The shade opened the battle by torturing him. Burning him alive and telling him to put out the flames on his own with his magic. When the flames were put out then the air would condense around his face making a bubble of water around his face, suffocating, drowning him. Even as far as the ground attempted to open up and eat him whole. He was rescued a lot by Koto or Inuyasha who’d lend him his firerat robe. As the battle had opened up with a duel with his father’s shadow. Tailos had later been aided by the fallen angel and from there it was a ruthless battle.
At one point or other, touga could have sworn to have seen 2 inuyashas but was kept busy by wolves and other guards of the fallen castle. He was able to hold his own till he was forced to bend light around his person to become invisible to retreat up a tree for safety till the battle was over He had a few bad burns on his body and other signs of the result of his abuse from his fake father. Stian told him that the real black dog had been among them before and had implied how he was going to kill Touga when next they meet. The reason that the pup had come on this trip was to finally meet his blood kin…and now. Now he finds himself a b*****d child to a black hearted monster. He sat off to the side brooding about it all. And wondering what was going to happen to him now?

 Sango the Demon Slayer Sango had been forced to keep to the back as they fought because of her injured arms, mostly being a glorified babysitter for Miroku. As the castle went crashing down she was slightly relieved, when Kagome died right before her though she didn't know what to do although she did trust Inuyasha to knew if for certain it was Kagome. She looked over as Stian opened a portal back to their world and Sango smiled slightly, finally they could return home and recover from their injuries. She wandered over to Miroku and wrapped his arms around her shoulders, with the help of Kirara they made their way to the portal. Sango watched ahead, still rather angry at Miroku for stabbing himself and once he was well enough she'd give him a nice hard slap for good measure.

 Koto rolled his eyes snorting at Inuyasha's attitude. His back was turned from the battlefield, currently weaving the spell for a portal. He could make it to where it took them back to the outside of Lady Hotaru's estate but that was it. He wasn't as finely tuned to shadows as his lady was. He tossed Rin a smile and a wink before focusing on the task at hand. Miroku and Sango were currently somewhat side by side by either way they were happy it was over. he could tell by their scent. The monk would of course need a few months to recuperate before he could travel again so he would need to be taken to his village immediately.
Inuyasha glanced up to Touga and studied the pup. Leaping up to his spot on the branch he was on, he smacked him lightly, not really looking at him. "Hey kid, stop brooding. You're coming home with me." This was the closest Touga was going to get for actual compassion from him. He caught sight of Miroku giving him a knowing glance and a grin. He mentally snorted. Stupid monk. His gaze kept watching the land before him.
After a few moment, he caught sight of movement and frowned. That had looked like him. He raised himself and blinked in shock. It was him. Or it was himself or whatever. It was starting to confuse him. He glanced down at Touga. "Wait here kid, I gotta do something real quick." Without another word, he darted over a small hill and a pile of rubble that had been blocking the view of the guy from the others. As he reached him, he scowled. "Hey, who the hell are you?" His hand rested on Tessaiga just in case and he had kept his voice down quite a bit. This whole trip had made Inuyasha grow up some although he would never claim he had been immature before.

Jaken slowly walked on and on and he caught a familiar scent, much sweeter and full of life. It was Rin's scent, he began running with tears flooding his eyes of joy and sadness as he saw her. "RIN!!!" he shouted as he ran up towards her stopping in front of her wiping his eyes in disbelief. Maybe his lord won't kill him after all for not giving his message to her. "Rin....Lord Sesshomaru has a message for you, well you see I was suppose to give it to you a while ago but I barely caught up to you..." Jaken spoke with a little embarrassed expression. He noticed the fight and his eyes went wide..."Rin its not safe here...we have to call Lord Sesshomaru..but how?.." he spoke fast pacing back and forth thinking and panicking.
AAAHH please don't smile ...… *I think I just shortened my life span by a 100 years!*… ⇋

 Tsuki and Rusty approached Koto as he weaved the portal. They'd chosen to remain in the background. Tsuki was trying to shake the odd images she'd seen in the vision. It wasn't clear. Glimpses of those that had been left in the village. Rusty was quiet, watching everything. He wanted to go home. He could sense that Tsuki was concerned for the pack. They waited for the cue to go through the portal.

Touga had only been sitting up on the tree branch for 10 minutes after the battle when the branch shook as Inuyasha abruptly joined him up here. He’d receive a light swat that snapped him out of his brooding with a jerk, digging his claws into the branch to keep from toppling off of it he’d look at Inuyasha rather reproachful at nearly being knocked off, ”What’cha do that—“”Hey kid, stop brooding! Your going home with me!” He blinked taken-aback by the unexpected statement. He had been aware of Lady Hotaru’s wish to make him her heir but recently the idea hadn’t seemed all that appealing anymore. It isn’t as if her retainer, Koto had made any effort to train Touga or make him wanna be a part of his Mistress’s domain. He’s spent all his time with Inuyasha or Kouga, even the other wolves seemed more companionable then the Fox demon. He seemed more keenly interested in Rin then in welcoming him to the Southern Customs and such. ”Really? I can stay with you?” he asked hopefully. Inuyasha seemed to have spotted something off in the distance, he hadn’t said anything to reply to him but he could tell what his answer would be by reading Inu’s body language. Awesome.

 Inuyasha's Shade

He’d had enough of the ruined castle, his claws shown with the blood of his kin. He exited out of a crumbling balcony, landing just beyond a pile of rubble that mostly hid him from view of the other people in the area. He did not look at them but rather turned and began to walk away from the battle field. He could feel his wounds healing over with the use of a jewel shard he had taken off of his brother’s corpse. He had only just sensed that the woman’s presence is no longer in this world. Only he knew that she was alive when his sister was slain. He is alone now in this world, those who were his kin that worked for Lord Tailos were slain in this final battle. He may yet find others of his kind at other parts of this world but weather they’d except him into their ranks or not is unknown. He has been able to keep this skin long enough to even copy the memories of the orriginal by linking his mind with Inuyasha’s. He’d felt a certain sadness knowing that he would not see the woman again after this, he’d felt something for her. But no…it is not his feelings for her. He is not real. Just a shadow of her real lover. A nomad of this world.
He’d just about reached the edge of the woods, when there is a rustle of robes and a blured figure caught up to him. It would seem that he’d been finally spotted by his double. He came to a stop, saying nothing. He didn’t need to gaze upon Inuyasha to know he had instinctively gripped the hilt of Tetsuaiga, demanding to know who he was. Out of everything that this shade was able to copy about Inuyasha, there were two things he couldn’t copy with his shapshifting abilities. The fang and those prayer beads which now lay around the neck of Lord Tailos’s b*****d pup. But he can go full demon at will without need of his life being put in danger, he finds those claws much more effective then dependence on a blade with extraordinary powers of destruction. He smirked with some humor, speaking; ”I am you…Inuyasha. Son of the great Inu No Taisho and the mortal Lady Izayoi. Half-brother to that b*****d, Sesshomaru. Pity that I don’t get to weild my father’s fang, I’d be more unstopable in this world then I already am.” He responded with sarcasm but his tone enphisised points about members of Inuyasha’s family in the same tone of hatred that Inuyasha would often use for Sesshomaru for example.
”Oh, but we don’t boast that much about our heritage do we.” He scoffed dismissively and turned to face Inuyasha, demonic golden eyes meeting their double, he raised one of his hands and popped his knuckles as he showed his claws. ”Do you intend to battle me then? It would be difficult and a bit mad really…fighting yourself.” As their eyes met, He shared his most recent memories through their link. Images of a great cavern and of a certain Modern times priestess. The images showed of Kagome hugging herself and wheeping, longing for home and for him. Images jumping to when he first got assigned to her as her protector, that he worked for Tailos and that it was his orders to be her protector that was the undoing of his aligance to the Dark Lord as his evil kin came to play a game of cat and mouse with her from before. How he’d protect her and saved her life. Similar images came and went then the visions would fade away as This Inuyasha stood in a semi-threatening posture ready to defend himself from Inuyasha should he attack him right at this time.

The moment Jaken arrived, Koto growled a little on the harsh side. The imp was an annoyance. "Shut your mouth imp. I am here to protect the Lady Rin. We shall be returning shortly to our world so you have no need to fear for your own hide from your master." His tone was just a little on the cruel side. Unfortunately he could not get over his distaste of the imp, no matter what his Rin said. Focusing back on the portal, sweat was starting to form. Building a large enough portal for everyone to go through was taxing.
Studying the copy, Inuyasha narrowed his eyes. This guy was him? He was him though. Scowling, he shook his head, confusion setting in. This sounded a whole lot like those school places that she went to in her time. Growling in frustration, his grip tightened on Tessaiga. "You ain't getting this sword." It was his. It didn't matter whether this guy was a copy and was confusing him as to who was really real.
As he watched him, the copy kept talking, inciting his anger. That Inuyasha was pissing him off big time. As he asked if he was going to attack him and the confusion it would cause, he took a menacing step forward. And then the memories hit him. His eyes widened in shock. Stumbling back a step, he gripped Tessaiga tightly. When they finally faded from his mind, there was the soft look of memory in his eyes. Shaking his head, he growled. He owed this copy. "Alright, I owe you a debt for protecting my Kagome. What can I give you besides Tessaiga to satisfy it?" Inuyasha didn't really know it but for those that would have known the Inu Taisho would have found Inuyasha much like his father with less cruelty.

Jaken grew angry as Koto spoke to him in such a way, "how dare you boy, I am you elder!!!" Jaken began rolling up his sleeves and grabbed his staff of two heads and began swinging in rage. "Wait til my lord hears about this he is going to make you pay!!" Jaken poked at him with the staff and ran behind Rin making faces at Koto. "My lord faced Tailos and his demon wench by himself...they fled from him, what have you been doing sweet talking Rin. Lord Sesshomaru fights for her and whether he wants to admit it or not he is lost without Rin, and she misses being with my masters side...dont you Rin?" Jaken asked looking up to Rin.
AAAHH please don't smile ...… *I think I just shortened my life span by a 100 years!*… ⇋

Inuyasha's Shade

After they had agreed on the promise, as one they had both slit their own hands and exchanged a handshake. The moment that Inuyasha's blood touched this Shade's blood did they become even more closely bonded, his shadow in the other world had just been given life so to speak. He'd be able to see and feel what inuyasha is doing in the other world as if he were there inside him the whole time, and the best bit about this bond is that he could pass from this world to the real world only at night time without need for a portal to do so, it would be like another version of shadow flitting instead. He could in theory also jump to the real world when it is day time there but only when Inuyasha himself is in an area where no natural light enters, deep in a cafe for example.
For now however, he watched silently as the group departed to the other world, A woman and one of the Lynxs taking their time going last before the portal closed. All that remain is an demon Imp with a staff, he recognized him through Inuyash's memories. An obnoxiously annoying little demon who serves his b*****d of a brother, Sesshomaru; Jaken he dare guesses. He chose not to bother the little Imp, as he'd probably become an little annoyance with that staff. He instead turned away and gazed up at the sky, seeing his in his mind's eye the reunion between Inuyasha and Kagome. He smiled a bit, feeling the intense emotions and his expression turned a bit sad. He doesn't get to actually be the girl's mate. But he supposes being emotionally linked to Inuyasha in this way will have to do... After a little while this Nomad of the Shadow Realm walked away from the renimants of his old life and into the forest in a random direction.

 Koto had affirmed his wish to court her, which had made her flush, as no man had shown interest in her before. Then again, she had been a mere 8 year old child until she had been cursed. He told her he wished for her to spend the remainder of the time in the Shadow Realm to think about it, and that he wished to receive an answer when they were back in the normal world. The next few days had passed, and Koto had been by her side near constantly, showing her affection, devotion and helping her. She too had fought in the battle, utilizing her new miko skills to help. When Inuyasha had snapped at Koto, she frowned. "Do not take your anger out on him." She scolded the half demon. "He has done nothing but bring you here to help you find Lady Kagome, and now you show disrespect? You disappoint me, Inuyasha. Do not make me have to inform Lady Kagome of your actions, or she will sit you." She told him bluntly. She turned to Stian when he spoke, looking surprised. "You wish to remain with me?" She was surprised, but pleased. She was fond of her young companion. Koto was weaving a spell to return them back to their world, and when he winked at her, her cheeks flushed a cute shade of pink, and she turned away as they warmed. What was this feeling? A shout of her name had her turn, and her eyes lit up when she saw Jaken. "Master Jaken!" She waved her arm. He began to babble about Lord Sesshomaru's message, and how she wasn't safe. "It's okay, Master Jaken." She assured him. "The battle is over, and we are returning home. What message did milord have for me?" She asked curiously. But the message was forgotten when Koto growled at Jaken. She gasped at his cruel words. "Shut your mouth imp. I am here to protect the Lady Rin. We shall be returning shortly to our world so you have no need to fear for your own hide from your master." Jaken grew angry then. "My lord faced Tailos and his demon wench by himself...they fled from him, what have you been doing sweet talking Rin. Lord Sesshomaru fights for her and whether he wants to admit it or not he is lost without Rin, and she misses being with my masters side...dont you Rin?" Rin looked down at Jaken. "Yes, I do miss Lord Sesshomaru." Her voice held a reverence for the demon male that had brought her back to life, and then protected her and cared for her. "But Jaken, he has abandoned me when I refused to leave here with him. I cannot return to his side." But she wasn't done. Koto was not to feel 'smug' about it. "As for you, how dare you speak to my friend in such a tone?" She demanded. "Master Jaken is a very good friend of mine. If this is how your courtship is going to be, then I have no desire to be courted." She turned and walked off, bringing Jaken along with her. Location: Shadow Realm

But perhaps he should wait a while before attempting to court the female, as she is dedicated to her own human companion, the demon slayer and the monk. He became aware of the little noisy imp that sought Lady Rin out, he is a servant to the white dog whom Rin once followed. Passively he said nothing as they bickered amongst themselves but only listened when Rin repremanded both the Imp and the Fox who courts her attentions. She is wise and devoted...and she is uncertain. Loyalties lie seemingly with the white dog...and yet she has shown interest in the fox. It might be interesting to see to whome would she follow. However...should she chose to stand alone, then she would have Stian to accompany and protect her. When she walked away taking the Imp with her, this white Lynx rose gracefully, prowling silently after her and the Imp. Having so far Ignored the Imp who seems to not have realized that he alone accompanies the Lady Rin. And it wouldn't be in the Imps best interest if he should attempt to chase him off or imply that he is nothing but a large dumb animal.OOC: sorry if the pic stretches the page, It should shrink by tomarrow. Koto felt his ears press flat against his head in shame as Rin started in on him. He had felt glad that Rin had stood up for him to the little imp but then she had yelled at him. Inside, he couldn't understand how she could like him. All the imp ever did was insult and degrade Rin. He had seen him attempt to smack her a few times as well. No, this wasn't what the courtship was going to be. As Stian passed by him, he sighed. "When she calms down, tell her... I'm sorry and if she wishes, I will leave her be..." He focused back on his task.
He watched the portal begin to pulse. Then suddenly, he could feel his lady. He could feel her power warping and enlarging the portal. His eyes widened. His arms began to shake. After a few minutes, it was ready. Standing wearily, he called out. "It's ready. Everyone go through. My Lady is holding it open from that end. He saw Inuyasha give him a swift look in suspicion, hearing the weariness in his voice. "Don't die yet fox." His voice was no more than a whisper as he grabbed Miroku and leapt through. There was something odd about Inuyasha in that moment. He just couldn't figure it out. Once everyone was through, he stepped through himself.

Inuyasha grunted in acknowledgement. As one, they both cut their palms and grabbed each others hands. As Inuyasha's blood met the fake ones, it glowed briefly. Stepping back after a moment, he nodded to him and rushed back to the others. As he reached the others, he caught sight of Rin moving off. Shrugging, he turned his gaze to Koto. After a bit, he saw Koto stand. It was time to go then. Moving by Sango, he lifted Miroku onto his back and moved to the portal. "Don't die yet fox." He kept his voice low so only Koto would hear him. He could smell sickness on the fox now where there used to be none. He leaped through the portal, hoping it would take him to Kagome. He meant to keep this promise, Kikyo be damned. He had finally realized that he needed Kagome now and always would.[Exit to Roads]

Touga watched the problems between Rin, Koto and the imp Jaken. He had noticed that Stian hasn't reverted back to his white kitten form but only found it to be a mild fascination. He'd have stood up on the branch to try and catch a glimps of Inuyasha in the darkness when he returned just as Koto announced, "It's ready. Everyone go through. My Lady is holding it open from that end." His ears perked forward and the young pup would swing down off of the branch and approach the large gateway. Inuyasha had taken Miroku and leapt on through the hole int he air. Touga hesitated, gazing around the dark world, he didn't belong here and wouldn't survive here on his own anyways. Remembering that Inuyasha told him that he could stay with them, he fimed his resolve, jumped through the portal after his Onii-tan! Pack leader.

" I'll avenge my comrades with my own hands!"  a n y w a y s ;
The attack on the castle had finally commenced, and while Inuyasha had been on one side of the castle, Kouga had been on the other side by himself. His goal was Kagome, and nothing was going to stop him. Several wolves had tried to stop him, but he was not going to be denied. Not for a second time. The Wolf Pack Leader had changed on the outside, and instead of the man who cared for all wolves and generally tried to avoid fighting wolves, he had become a destroyer of shadow wolves. They were pale imitations of the wolves he had come to love, and as payment for their actions, he would grant them swift deaths. Large clouds of smoke had gone up on his side of the castle, and following the clouds of smokes, loud booms resounded through the area as portions of the castles were torn through. Even as he moved through areas of the castle, he could not find her.
She wasn't here. "Damn it all!" cursed Kouga as he turned only to see injured wolves trying to decide whether or not they could run away fast, or whether or not to try and fight him. However, he would not give them the luxury of either. "Where. Is. She?" An answer, had been given, and as he made his way back to the group, he prepared to tell them that Kagome was not there, only to have them ready to leave the dimension as well. Feeling rather unaccomplished, he entered the portal after Touga ready to admit defeat.
