NarShaddaa - Docks

XT-613 noted that it was now twenty-nine minutes and 16 seconds from when she first met the smuggler. The only difference between then and now was that XT-613 was .13th of a pound lighter due to her 'earned credits' in a game of sabaac. Of course those credits weren't hers when she won, but she made sure the winner didn't 'misuse' them. She had been waiting outside the ship when he finally showed up albeit completely tipsy. His BAC was .09 which admittedly worried XT-613 a little. Thankfully his ship had escape pods XT-613 could jettison out of just in case. As they boarded the ship he held out his hand for credits while his weight constantly shifted. XT-613 handed them over as he attempted to introduce himself.
"Muhh naaame isssh... issh. Ohhh! Ha! Yea! Grik. Grik Maks? Marts? Mauds? Whaaa evuuurrrr!"
XT-613 watched as he stumbled up the entry ramp. The final step of he entry ramp he lost his balanced and fell face first onto the metal floor.

Nar Shadda- In orbit

Locolvictum laughed when the Twi'lek women said that he had enough metal. She then lead him into another cargo hold. This one no the other hand lacked all of the crates that the other one had.

"Corvin's new line of work gets him shot more than usual - so I'm gonna have to stitch you up first to save on materials. Have a seat."
Locolvictum took a seat and looked at her. "A small amount of Bacta is probubly more than what I had in these past 12 years." He extened his hand out towards a empty seat, "Come on lets get this over with before I'm forced to get a metal hand."

Epoch Wren - Cockpit

"Steal?" he said, looking offended. "We were getting shot at - I just kept it safe!" He adjusted the controls to put the ship in a gentle orbit while they figured out what to do next.

"So, do you think this underground base is on Nar Shadda, or do I have a whole galaxy to guess from?" He smiled as he leaned back in his chair, the ship pivoting to give them a better view of the surface of the planet.

"As far as being counted among friends, I have some business of my own to attend to before I can be added to that list... but, and this is a very big but, it sounds as though it conflicts with yours." Still leaning back, he steepled his fingers and paused to ensure he had her full attention.

His expression grew suddenly serious and he leaned toward her as he explained."The Hutts are looking for the same holocron you are, and they sent me to find it. I doubt I'm the only one, and I sure as hell wouldn't be doing their dirty work if I had any choice. They've got my mother landlocked on a planet where she is in danger, and no amount of dirty work they've put me through has convinced them to let her go. You agree to help get her off-world and find her someplace safe, and I'll gladly let you pen me onto that list. Deal?"

Mustafar
Mauler Outpost

Jayul walked past the group of Jedi he had slain with his lightsaw. They had nothing he wanted, his followers had been killed, and there was no explanation. He scanned the once bustling outpost through the force. Lifesigns were scarce, a few children who managed to hide during the slaughter.

There was one life form that was calm and at peace. It was in the cantina, waiting. Jayul moved in that direction, if this was another Jedi he was going to meet the force very soon. The broken parts of his ghostsaber fit themselves into their canisters on Jayul's back.

He arrived at the cantina to find a man dressed in brown robes, calmly drinking a Jawa juice. When Jayul arrived, the man set his drink aside and stood up. He dropped his hood revealing the rows of boney horns that protruded from his forehead. This stranger was Zabrak as well. "You must be the sith that lead these people. It's a shame they wouldn't tell us where you were, they didn't have to die."

Epoch Wren - Starboard Hold

The Twi'lek's beauty was impossible to conceal, even in flight fatigues, as she busied herself preparing to stitch up Locolvictum's wound. "I'd apologize for not having any anesthetic, but something tells me that's not going to be a problem for you." she said, looking up into his unmatched eyes and smiling. "I like that. Name's Dea'avril, by the way."

It was in that moment that an astromech droid hovered into the room, sporting a boxy S19 chasis modified with a repulsorlift, but with the head and sensor array of an R9 and a sleek matte black paint job finished with an electric blue trim. "SNAFU, where have you been? I need you to prep the Bacta-tank!"

The droid let out a series of beeps and blips in response, which were followed by a metalic sounding "Afirmative" from a speaker mounted on it's side that blinked with a red light as it translated.

She sewed as she spoke, the needle surprisingly gentle in her hands. "Corvin's a wiz with machines" she explained, indicating the strange droid, "But not so good with meat. Still, if you need any of your implants repaired, he's your man." She raised his hand to her mouth and bit off the trailing end of the thread, her work with the needle done.

"So, no Bacta in a decade? And it sounds like you may have more metal than I can see. Well, until you disrobe." she added the last bit with a smirk as she stood and motioned him toward the tank, which slid open as the droid worked. "Implants can cause all kinds of strain where the metal meets flesh, and it's gradual so most don't even notice it happening. A quick dip in the tank and you'll come out feeling like a new man."

Epoch Wren- Cargo Hold

Locolvictum would have been captivated by the Twi'lek's beauty if he was't eager to get this this quest of his over with."Anesthietic? I haven't needed that in a long time." He said as Dea'vril stiched his hand together. He winced each time the needle went through his skin. "And my name is Vic." He said trying to be polite.

"Corvin's a wiz with machines, But not so good with meat. Still, if you need any of your implants repaired, he's your man."

Locolvictum nodded, "I don't think he can fix my eye." He said standing up and then pushed his right temple. A small click went in response. Then blicking a few times as if reajusting his vision. "Much better." He said with relief. He then started walking towards the bacta tank and started to strip off his clothes. Each artical of clothing that he took off revealed more scares, some looked like burns from lightsabers, others vibro-blades, the rest looked like burn marks from blasters.

After taking his clothing off he said, "Start this thing Dea'avril."

Mustafar
Mauler Outpost

"You are no Jedi. Jedi don't kill innocent people."

"Innocent people do not harbor Sith, these people where given a chance. My disciples asked them where you were before they killed them. If they felt hiding you was worth their life, it was their decision. But I regret too inform you; the Order had fallen. We are no Jedi. We are Sith Hunters!"

"You are alone. I've killed your disciples. You will be joining them shortly. But know this before you die. I am no Sith, you killed innocent people to hunt the wrong man." Jayul raised his lightsaber, but before he charged, he waved his hand to clear the clutter and bodies that was strewn about the floor.

The Hunter's eyes widened at Jayul's proclamation, he delved into the force to sense his followers. When they couldn't be found he realized the truth. " How could you have..." He was visibly shaken by this, and anger flared up as he summoned a force blast aimed at Jayul! "I know you're Sith, I felt your call. This proves it, you're going to die!"

The force blast caught Jayul by surprise and he was slammed into the wall. He protected himself with a bubble of force, and avoided serious injury. Slowly Jayul got to his feet. "No Jedi, you are going to die!" Lightsabers ignited and both men charged at one another...

Elyria laughed at his feigned offense. "And I'm glad that you did "- laughing again

"I have no idea where we're headed - Vic has kept a tight lip on this one"[/i]-Furrowing her brow "I do wonder what he's up to, but we're at his mercy for now."

"The Hutts are looking for the same holocron you are, and they sent me to find it. I doubt I'm the only one, and I sure as hell wouldn't be doing their dirty work if I had any choice. "Damnable slugs! We don't need to make a deal -Je'daii will always come to the aid of someone in trouble! And the safest place for your Mother would be on Tython with us. Is she Force sensitive? She would be well protected by the Je'daii there. It's a simple life but a pleasant one! " Rubbing her forehead with her palm..."May I use your communications system - I really must check in at the Temple -so much as happened, and I've strayed so far off mission already. Let me contact Master Endar - he'll be able to figure out how to proceed and reach all our goals. Is your Mother safe, are they treating her well? That should be our first priority...but could we get Vic to allow us to sidetrack. Ka'all will help us figure this out!"

NarShaddaa - Docks

When Grik took off his take off was bad and his flying was worse. XT-613 could tell the ship was more like a ride at a child's park than a flight. XT-613 was on the other side of the ship trying to ignore the terrible flying. He had sent the ship into hyperspace, after 10 minutes and 33 seconds they pulled out of hyperspace. As the ship came to a stop XT walked towards the pilot's seat and saw the last thing she wanted to see. An imperial star destroyer.
"Uh oh. Tis ainn guuud!"
"Reenter hyperspace! Now! Enter the coordinates L-19!
It was too late, they were already caught by the tractor beam.

"Grik Marun your under arrest! Surrender now and you will be guaranteed a painless execution!"
An imperial officer boomed over the comm unit. Within merely a minute they were already being walked down the hall when XT-613 spotted her ship in a hangar. Immediately she turned around and point the trooper's blaster back up at his chin when his late reactions fired the gun, killing him. XT-613 dash towards her ship taking her blaster and firing back at the troopers attempting to stop her. Once she was close enough she connected with the ship's on board computer wirelessly and dropped the exit ramp and started the engines.

The ship began to take off at troopers continued to fire but their shots only left an occasional burn mark on the hull. She made it outside of the ship easy but needed to escape the tractor beam and switched all power to the engines. Then an alert came from her ship's computer to her own warning her of the incoming Lanvanok fighters.

Epoch Wren - Cockpit

"My mother isn't in any immediate danger... but... well, it's hard to explain, but I don't know how much time we have before that changes. It would take some getting used to, but I think she'd like Tython." Corvin said, sitting upright in his chair and looking out the window into the vastness of space as it crested the rim of Nar Shadda, as though he could see his mother's house from here.

After a moments reflection he stood up, leaving the ship to maintain it's lazy orbit. "Guess I'd better have a word with Vic." he said. "Feel free to use the com, but mind what you say. We're too far out for a secure connection, and I'd wager some serious credits that the slugs are monitoring my channel."

His mind whirling with all the turns his life was suddenly taking, Corvin walked out of the cockpit but paused at the door. "Thank you, Elyria." he said over his shoulder, then strode purposefully toward the Starboard Hold.

"Aaaaand he's already in the tank..." he observed aloud as he entered.

"AFFIRMATIVE" SNAFU's translator added helpfully.

Epoch Wren - Starboard Hold

"Well, you took your sweet time!" Dea'avril chided. "Putting the moves on that pretty Je'daii, were we?" She knew that Corvin was a charmer, but he always got uncomfortable when confronted like this, and it was fun to tease him.

Corvin did his best to mask his unease, "Please! I've got way too much to think about right now for that nonsense!" This might have been true, but Dea'avril was certain he was thinking about it now. She may have to meddle. "He looks pretty rough" Corvin pointed out, changing the subject to focus on Locolvictum as the light saber and blaster burns vanished before their eyes, knowing the vibro-blade scars would never fade.

"The man's been tempered with fire, and come out stronger for it," she observed. "I decided he needed a full measure of Bacta, and had SNAFU increase the dosage... so try not to get shot, okay?" her inflection was serious, but her expression showed geniune concearn. She masked it quickly, but knew Corvin was a good reader of people, and he wouldn't have missed that. "He's just as patient as you are, too. I'm sure you'll get along famously." She laughed then, and added "If he can get over that stunt you pulled in the Star Port."

"You saw that, huh?"

"Well, you DID say to keep an eye out. So... where are we headed?"

"I was hoping he could tell us..."

"Fif-ty-Four-Per-Cent" SNAFU's translater enunciated each syllable as the words followed it's beeps, the droid anticipating their need for a status report on the Bacta Tank's progress.

"Then I guess we wait."

"Guess I'd better check in with Elyria, then" Corvin said, turning to go.

"Guess you'd better!" Dea'avril agreed, grinning widely as he disappeared around the corner. Was she imagining it, or did he just blush?

Pure Neimodia- The Dancing Dreeka

As Stokhli finished the last of his food, he looked around, seeing if Davth had returned. "Are you sure he was here? Meh, no matter, we can head out without him. we're staying in his ship right? If he shows, he shows. If not, well, More for us!" He ordered another drink and turned to his new.... partner.....
" Uhh, So! I assume your wondering the general plan as to how we're going to search this whole port for this guy. Well unless you have one, then were running blind. so lets make one!" he pulled his wrist link out and pulled up a small map of the port. It showed about Three main sections to the port divided by the Landing docks, Supplies stations,
And the shopping district.
"So all we have to do is choose a section and meet up in the one we didnt choose, some time around lunch? that sound right to you?"

Pure Neimoidia - The Dancing Dreeka

The Paradoxical Spiral/Entrapment

Well, well, well. Tail chasin' nerf herder is gone...at least for now. With any luck he pissed off some brute and got his lekku severed. I doubt that would make him any less of an idiot, but it'd sure shut him up. This also makes it easier for me to get this holocron to myself. With flyboy out of the picture, Stokhli doesn't have anyone watching his back. He's still just a filthy, lying sand Rat. That's not going to change, but I'll make sure he doesn't feel so comfortable when he's staring at my saber. I've heard the smugglers on Nar Shaddaa say to keep your coworkers close but to keep your enemies closer. Don't you worry, Stokhli. I've got my eyes on you as well as another set of eyes following your every step. We're going to become very close. You can bet your life on it!!

"Well now that Flyboy is no longer with us, let's just say the ship belongs to me. I say this since officials are going to want to know why only two of the three are returning to the ship. We can just say he met someone and is with them. Of course if we really need to get out of this place in a hurry and that idiot still isn't with us, we say he drank himself to death. It fits his personality well enough."

A'kire downed the last of the drinks in front of her, half listening to Stokhli and half wishing she had never signed up to go on this excursion in the first place. She was stuck here despite what she wished. Might as well follow through with the plan until it's end. She butted out her cigarette and looked at the map. She was unimpressed with the Jawa's plan, but it would have to do for now.

"It sounds incredibly simple. Stupidly simple, but if nobody we run into is working for that guy we shouldn't be in trouble. This guy has a valuable item and most likely has numerous others after it. Someone gets wind that we want it and we're in trouble. Don't be obvious. It's not like you could at your height anyway, but still. Don't bother asking ignorant commoners. They most likely know absolutely nothing. Merchants are a good start. They do nothing but interact with others all day long. They learn so much that it can make your head spin. Let's meet up at the Shopping District after we wander about. Who knows, Maybe flyboy is asleep on the ship. "

A'kire lit up another cigarette, impatiently waiting for her food to come. Davth's disappearance now starting to weigh on her mind. She was sure he was out there, making his rounds to gather as much information before taking that holocron and ditching her and the Jawa on Neimoidia. The more she thought about such things the angrier she became. Soon the steak A'kire had ordered finally arrived. Without hesitation, she began chowing down, her super sharp teeth visible whenever she took a bite.

You filthy liars both have something coming to you. Neither of you can hide. I've got eyes everywhere. You both think everything is fine. We'll all get the holocron and get our credits, right? Haha!! Oh I saw past that little lie of yours. Watch your back boys. I have my own plan and I will get that holocron! Don't worry though, you'll both be much more pleasant if you can't talk anymore....or breathe.

Tython - Stav Kesh communications room

The tall Je'daii Temple Master stormed into the communications room, his white hair flowing behind him. Three Journeyers stiffened as they saw Ranger Fitt bow low at the waist in greeting, "To what do we owe this visit, Master?" Stopping short, Master Endar looked down on the Ranger, "Have we received word from Master Stone and the crew from Nar Shaddaa? She should've been right behind me." Rising slowly, Ranger Fitt seemed to hesitate, "No, Master, they have not returned yet." A single white eyebrow raised on Ka'all's face as he let this information sink in. "I think you had better find them quickly Ranger, I have received information of the utmost importance that all the Temple Masters need to be made aware of. Tell her she is to drop everything and return to Tython at once." Bowing low once more, Ranger Fitt responded as Master Endar turned to walk away, "Immediately Master Endar. I will send word to your quarters once we have made contact."

Epoch Wren - Communications Area

Elyria's brow was furrowed when Corvin re-entered the main cabin

"Corvin - we must turn the ship toward Tython - we'll deal with Vic one he gets out of the tank. The communication I've just receive demands my immediate return - all else must wait." I have been commanded by the Highest authority." Her emerald eyes shone with a look of serious pleading "Will you take me there?"
